Overview

To determine league standings, DRAFT & PLAY BASEBALL uses one of two scoring methods: rotisserie-style or point-style.

To determine results for leagues using Rotisserie-style scoring, teams are ranked from first to last in each of the 10 statistical categories, and points are assigned based on these rankings. For instance, in a 10-team league, the team that finishes first in a category earns 10 points, the second-place team earns 9 points, and so on down to the last-place team, which earns one point. This system applies to all 10 categories, each of which has equal value. The most points a team in a 10-team league can earn if it finishes first in every statistical category is 100 points.

In a 12-team league, the team that finishes first in a category earns 12 points, the second-place team earns 11 points, and so on down to the last-place team, which earns one point. This system applies to all 10 categories, each of which has equal value. The most points a team in a 12-team league can earn if it finishes first in every statistical category is 120 points.

To determine results for leagues using Point-style scoring, teams are ranked from first to last by each team's point total. The team with the highest point total finishes first and the team with the lowest point total finishes last.

Team and league reports are updated daily on the website by 7:00 PM CT (or at such other times as CDM Sports determines) and reflect statistics through the previous day's games.

Refund Policy

To withdraw your team and receive a full refund of your entry fee, you must submit your request before 10 teams have registered for your league (or, if you have registered for a 12 team league, before 12 teams have registered for your league).
