To enter Basketball Challenge® Playoff via the Contest website, click the appropriate navigational link on the Contest website, agree to abide by the official rules governing the Contest, then follow the instructions to submit your entry, which includes selecting your team name and team. Upon successfully entering your team, If you do not already have a CDM Sports account, you will setup your account using your email address and create a password to be used for modifying your team as well as accessing results and the BBS.

Entries are also accepted via our toll-free number (1.888.636.7559) and by regular mail (mail to: CDM Sports, PO Box 31782 St. Louis, MO 63131).


Your Internet entry must be paid by credit card or debit card using either MasterCard, VISA, Discover or American Express. All entries must be received by 2:00 PM CT, Saturday, April 14, 2018.

Mailed entries can also be paid by check or money order and must be postmarked by Thursday, April 12, 2018, and received no later than Friday, April 13, 2018.

The Contest begins with playoff games on Saturday, April 14, 2018, and ends with the final playoff basketball game, spanning the entire professional basketball playoffs.


To enter Basketball Challenge Playoff, there is a one-time entry fee. There are additional fees for modifying your team. All fees are payable in U.S. funds. There is a limit of six (6) entries per customer.

Save Money! Buy all switches, swing shifts, and 6 new player purchases, for $60.00! If you purchase the all-inclusive transaction package, no additional fees will be charged during the Contest.

Save More Money! Enter a team in a regular league with an all-inclusive transaction package, and then SAVE $10 on your all-inclusive transaction package for each additional entry in a regular leagues.

Note: All transaction packages must be purchased by the deadline to enter on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

Before the Contest begins (until 5 minutes before the first game on Saturday, April 14, 2018) all modifications to your team made via the website are FREE and UNLIMITED.



During signup, you select from the listed players a starting lineup of 15 players, as well as a taxi squad of 10 players. All 25 positions must be filled during signup. These players remain on your team until you decide to modify your team.

Starting Lineup

Your starting lineup must consist of the following:

  • 5 Guards
  • 5 Forwards
  • 3 Centers
  • 2 Swing Players (any position)

Taxi Squad

Your taxi squad must consist of any ten players. They are your backups and may be switched onto your starting lineup for any reason: elimination, injury, performance, match-ups, etc. The position distribution rules do not apply to your taxi squad but do apply when these players are switched into the starting lineup.

Listed Players

You can select listed players at any time before or during the Contest. Listed players can be selected for your starting lineup and taxi squad effective immediately upon submitting your entry. A listed player's position has been determined by CDM Sports and will remain the same for the entire Contest. Players can only be used at the position assigned to them. Unlisted Players

If a team not listed makes the playoffs, all players on that team will be added and may be selected. To request that an unlisted player be added in order to be selected, email us at [email protected] or call us at 1.888.636.7559. Unlisted players can be in your starting lineup at the beginning of the Contest.
