Previous Day Next Day
Terry Rozier hits 1-of-11 shots in loss 02-09-2018
Terry Rozier G BOS
Terry Rozier hit just 1-of-11 shots and 7-of-8 free throws for three assists, one rebound, two steals and a triple in 26 minutes on Friday vs. Indiana. It just wasn't his night. His only make was a 38-footer at the end of the third quarter, but at least the minutes were still there. The glory days of Rozier being a starter are over, but he could still have some value with Marcus Smart (hand) out until the All-Star break.
Jeremy Lamb posts 10 points in loss 02-09-2018
Jeremy Lamb G CHA
Jeremy Lamb posted 10 points over 19 minutes off the bench in Friday's 106-94 loss at Utah. Lamb hit 4-of-7 from the field, including 1-of-1 from behind the 3-point line and 1-of-1 from the free-throw line. He also added four rebounds, four steals and two assists. Lamb has been fairly productive off the bench lately, averaging 11.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals over the past six outings. He's a decent play in deeper fantasy formats.
Frank Kaminsky busy off the bench 02-09-2018
Frank Kaminsky F CHA
Frank Kaminsky posted 14 points across 25 minutes off the bench in Friday's loss at Utah. Kaminsky hit 5-of-12 from the field, including 1-of-5 from behind the 3-point line, while adding 3-of-3 from the free-throw line. He also added two assists and a steal, seeing a much bigger role with Dwight Howard in foul trouble for most of the evening. Eventually the Daily Double fouled out in just 21 minutes. Kaminsky is averaging 11.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists over five games in the month of February.
Kyrie Irving scores 21 points in loss to IND 02-09-2018
Kyrie Irving G BOS
Kyrie Irving scored 21 points with five assists, two rebounds, two triples and two turnovers in 31 minutes vs. the Pacers on Friday. The Celtics were trailing by 21 points entering halftime, but clawed their way back into the game with a 34-17 third quarter. They ultimately fell short by six points, giving Boston their second loss in their last three games. As for Irving, he'll get his first shot at taking on the new-look Cavaliers on Sunday. The last time these two teams met, Irving was held in check for one of the few times this season, scoring 11 points on 5-of-14 shots.
Dwight Howard hurt by foul trouble 02-09-2018
Dwight Howard C CHA
Dwight Howard was limited to just five points across 21 minutes before fouling out of Friday's game at Utah. Howard got into foul trouble early, as Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors proved to be too much for the veteran. He salvaged the fantasy stat line somewhat by posting nine rebounds, but he was also held without a blocked shot. He'll try to bounce back against Jonas Valanciunas and the visiting Raptors on Sunday afternoon back in the Queen City.
Kemba Walker scores team-high 19 points 02-09-2018
Kemba Walker G CHA
Kemba Walker finished Friday's game at Utah with a team-high 19 points across 33 minutes. Walker hit 8-of-19 from the field, while adding 3-of-8 from behind the 3-point line, while adding five assists and three rebounds. It was a major step back after he dropped 40 in Portland on Friday night, but at least he made up for the lack of scoring with more boards and dimes. Next up is a visit from the Raptors on Sunday afternoon.
Monroe plays just 11 minutes in home debut 02-09-2018
Greg Monroe C BOS
Greg Monroe played just 11 minutes off the bench in his home debut for the Celtics on Friday, scoring two points with four rebounds and one assist. Monroe had five points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 20 minutes in his first game, but Aron Baynes (21 minutes) and Daniel Theis (18 minutes) both played more minutes tonight. Monroe turned down the chance to start in New Orleans for a chance at a title in Boston, but it looks like that move will cost him dearly in terms of fantasy value. He might have a nice game here and there because coach Brad Stevens plays the matchups, but standard-league owners can probably do better.
Nicolas Batum scores 13 points in road loss 02-09-2018
Nicolas Batum G CHA
Nicolas Batum finished with 13 points, two assists and a steal over 31 minutes in Friday's 106-94 loss at Utah. Batum hit 6-of-13 from the floor, including 1-of-3 from behind the 3-point line. He is working on a season-high streak with 10 or more points, but the zero rebounds and just two assists will certainly not put a smile on the face of his fantasy owners. He'll look for better results on Sunday afternoon against the visiting Raptors.
Myles Turner bounces back vs. Boston 02-09-2018
Myles Turner C IND
Myles Turner bounced back vs. Boston on Friday with 19 points (6-of-11 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), seven rebounds, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes. Turner was coming off two duds in a row with a combined six points in those games, but he was on the injury report with a sore right knee for both of those. Indiana had four days off with their game getting postponed on Wednesday, so Turner likely benefitted from having some fresh legs tonight. He's been banged up a lot and has been a hit-or-miss fantasy asset, but we're expecting big things after the break and the time off should do him wonders.
Thaddeus Young double-doubles vs. BOS 02-09-2018
Thaddeus Young F IND
Thaddeus Young double-doubled vs. the Celtics on Friday with 13 points and 14 rebounds. The veteran forward added one steal and one triple in 34 minutes, hitting 5-of-10 shots and 2-of-2 free throws. Young was considered a trade candidate since he has a $13.7 million player option for 2018-19, but Indiana's willingness to stick with him is a great sign as they look to make a return to the postseason. He's inconsistent and struggles from the line, but he'll continue to be a nice source of points, rebounds and steals going forward.
Cory Joseph finishes scoreless vs. Boston 02-09-2018
Cory Joseph G IND
Cory Joseph missed all six of his shots and failed to score vs. Boston on Friday, adding seven assists, two rebounds and two turnovers in 34 minutes.

Indianapolis Star
Despite the poor stat line, Joseph played some nice defense on Kyrie Irving and drew some praise from coach Nate McMillan. "I thought Cory played about as good defense as you can play on Kyrie, just trying to stay in front of him, making hustle plays," McMillan said. Joseph added that he had "no legs" offensively, but things should get easier on Sunday in New York. He's still just a low-end add while Darren Collison (knee) is out, but owners in standard leagues can probably do better.
Victor Oladipo scores 35 in win over Boston 02-09-2018
Victor Oladipo G IND
Victor Oladipo went off for 35 points (15-of-29 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs) in a 97-91 win over the Celtics on Friday.

Indianapolis Star
This was his ninth game of the season with 30+ points and his most shot attempts in a single game. Dipo added 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the campaign, adding two assists, two triples and five steals. He had a spinning drive that put Indiana ahead 91-85 with 1:30 left and did all this while still feeling the effects of the flu. "Not at all," Dipo said when asked if he had his normal stamina. "But when you're out there playing, you don't think about anything else but the game." He'll have 48 hours to recover before Sunday's favorable matchup vs. the Knicks.
Ish Smith scores 15 points vs. Clippers 02-09-2018
Ish Smith G DET
Ish Smith scored 15 points with four assists, two rebounds, two steals and one triple in 31 minutes vs. the Clippers on Friday. Reggie Jackson (ankle) is expected to return "likely sometime in early March," a little later than originally thought. Smith's owners can continue deploying him in the meantime, but his fantasy value does have an expiration date and that will likely be during the fantasy playoffs.
James Harden scores 28 points in 27 minutes 02-09-2018
James Harden G HOU
James Harden scored 28 points in 27 minutes against the Nuggets during a 130-104 win on Friday, adding seven rebounds, 11 assists and five 3-pointers in 27 minutes. Coach Mike Malone said he wanted to limit Harden at the free throw line, but that didn't happen with 11 attempts in just 28 minutes. Harden received some MVP chants and it's becoming a very tough argument to make a case for anyone else. The Rockets are just 0.5 games behind the Warriors and they have the tiebreaker, so things are looking up as the possible top seed. Additionally, Bovada gave the Rockets the best odds to land LeBron James next season.
Clint Capela erupts with 23 points, 25 boards 02-09-2018
Clint Capela C HOU
Clint Capela pulled down a career-high 25 boards against the Nuggets on Friday, adding 23 points and two blocks in just 29 minutes.

Craig Ackerman on Twitter
The Brinks trucks that were probably going to have to go to Isaiah Thomas' house this summer were likely redirected to Mr. Capela's residence. The last three Rockets to post his numbers from tonight in a single game were Dwight Howard, Hakeem Olajuwon and Moses Malone, so Capela is in some elite company. He's looking like a great bet for Most Improved Player and his fantasy owners cleaned up with his mid-round ADP. He'll be getting a high-round ADP next season.
Ricky Rubio (hip) questionable to return 02-09-2018
Ricky Rubio G UTH
Ricky Rubio (left hip soreness) is questionable to return to Friday's game vs. the Hornets.

Jazz PR on Twitter
He's in the locker room getting evaluated and we should have an update soon. Rubio has been on fire recently, but this doesn't sound too serious for now. If he does miss time, Donovan Mitchell will run the offense even more, while Joe Ingles and Raul Neto would benefit as well.
Eric Gordon scores 12 points 02-09-2018
Eric Gordon G HOU
Eric Gordon (back) scored 12 points with one rebound, one assist and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Nuggets on Friday. He was back after missing Wednesday's game. Considering how he's had a back injury in almost every season this decade, it's nice to see he's not going to miss extended time. The Rockets do have a back-to-back set coming up on Tuesday, so it's possible the Rockets will hold him out -- Wednesday against the Kings makes sense. He's more of a low-end hold as a specialist.
Griffin scores 19, DET's win streak snapped 02-09-2018
Blake Griffin F DET
Blake Griffin scored 19 points in a loss to his former team on Friday, adding eight rebounds, six assists, one block and one triple in 35 minutes. Detroit's 5-game winning streak came to an end and Griffin is no longer undefeated with his new team (he was previously 4-0). It wasn't his best game and he did settle for some shots, finishing 7-of-19 from the field, 4-of-5 from the line and 1-of-7 from deep. After the game, Griffin went straight to the locker room and didn't acknowledge his former teammates, so this was clearly one he wanted. As for his fantasy value, he's cruising right now with averages of 21.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 0.6 blocks, 0.6 steals and 1.4 triples in his first five games.
Ryan Anderson cleared to play Friday 02-09-2018
Ryan Anderson F HOU
Ryan Anderson came off the bench on Friday with nine points, two rebounds, two assists, one block and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Nuggets. That playing time is a very encouraging sign after he missed Wednesday's game. Anderson's injury was never considered serious, so this confirms sitting out vs. Miami was a precaution. Still, Anderson is not playing well enough to be held in standard leagues.
Jamal Murray scores just six 02-09-2018
Jamal Murray G DEN
Jamal Murray scored six points with one rebound, two assists and three turnovers in 25 minutes against the Rockets on Friday during a 130-104 loss.

Harrison Wind on Twitter
You can pretty much just throw this one out with the entire first unit struggling. The Nuggets got destroyed in the first and third quarters, so coach Mike Malone pulled his whole first unit in the middle of the third. Interestingly, Murray reportedly did not look good in his pregame work, so hopefully it was just a one-time thing. The Blue Arrow has been a fantasy stud this season.
Trey Lyles scores 24 points vs. HOU 02-09-2018
Trey Lyles F DEN
Trey Lyles scored 24 points with seven rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes against the Rockets on Friday. Coach Mike Malone pulled all of his starters in the third quarter because of the blowout, so that allowed Lyles to eat. He's cooled off considerably since his hot December, so he's only a borderline hold depending on who is on your wire.
Monte Morris gets 22 minutes 02-09-2018
Monte Morris G DEN
Monte Morris scored 10 points with two rebounds, six assists and three steals against the Rockets on Friday. He only played three minutes in his NBA career before tonight, so this was his biggest chance. Morris will likely go back to the G League once Devin Harris is ready to go.
Torrey Craig scores eight points 02-09-2018
Torrey Craig G DEN
Torrey Craig scored eight points with four rebounds in 28 minutes against the Rockets on Friday. The playing time was a bit skewed by the blowout, so Craig isn't really a pickup here. He was questionable with a hamstring injury today.
Reggie Bullock scores 19 points in 40 minutes 02-09-2018
Reggie Bullock F DET
Reggie Bullock scored 19 points in 40 minutes vs. the Clippers on Friday, hitting 7-of-11 shots and 5-of-9 triples. It's nice to know that Bullock takes revenge games seriously. He led both teams in minutes played tonight, adding five rebounds and two assists. The Pistons used an 8-man rotation tonight and Luke Kennard still doesn't appear to be a threat, so Bullock is locked into heavy minutes on the wing. Since missing a game on Jan. 24 with a thumb issue, Bullock has been sneaky good with 14.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals and 3.1 triples. He has to be owned right now.
LeBron James matches career-high 17 dimes 02-09-2018
LeBron James F CLE
LeBron James matched his career-high 17 assists during a 123-107 win over the Hawks on Friday, adding 22 points 12 boards, three turnovers and two fouls in 41 minutes. Are the Cavs fixed? Kidding aside, LeBron has been unbelievable as a passer lately with gem and 15 dimes on Wednesday -- he also had a whopping 22 potential assists in that win over the Wolves. This was LeBron's 10th triple-double of the season and 65th of his career, and the Cavs offense has hit on all cylinders over the last two games. Obviously LeBron's numbers will not be affected by anyone around him, so expect him to thrive around his new teammates when they arrive. He gets Kyrie Irving on Sunday.
Kyle Korver goes off w/ season-high 30 points 02-09-2018
Kyle Korver G CLE
Kyle Korver scored a season-high 30 points with three rebounds, two blocks and seven 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Hawks on Friday. He got hot in the third quarter with his 12 helping the Cavs put this game out of reach with those 36 team points in 13 minutes -- he also had 28 points in his first 22 minutes. Korver's role is unclear right now as he'll have to compete for shots/minutes with Rodney Hood, George Hill and Jordan Clarkson. Korver was productive with 14 points on Wednesday, but he's still not really most fantasy owners should add. If you started him in DFS or as a stream tonight, pat yourself on the back.
Montrezl Harrell scores 18 points vs. Detroit 02-09-2018
Montrezl Harrell F LAC
Montrezl Harrell scored 18 points on 8-of-13 shots in Friday's win over the Pistons. He did all of his damage in 19 minutes, adding four rebounds and one block. He also nailed both of his free throws, a nice surprise considering he was 62.1% from the line coming into tonight's game. Harrell can be productive off the bench with 14+ points in three out of his last four games, but he's only averaging about 18 minutes per game in that span. He's just a deep-league asset and lost most of his stash appeal when the Clippers stood pat at the deadline and kept DeAndre Jordan.
Jeff Green scores 24 points 02-09-2018
Jeff Green F CLE
Jeff Green scored 24 points with three rebounds, four assists and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Hawks on Friday. The Cavs have talked about using Green more in their smaller lineups, so maybe he can start to climb into the 20s more regularly even when the team gets their new players added to the roster. Green was also the hero with his dime to LeBron James against the Wolves. Still, he's not much of a fantasy add until he can prove it with a full roster.
J.R. Smith gets 29 minutes, scores seven 02-09-2018
JR Smith G CLE
J.R. Smith scored seven points with two rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes against the Hawks on Friday. He's actually playing a lot better these days, but now his leash is a lot shorter with Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson and George Hill as threats to his minutes. Smith will probably have too many downs to be counted on in 12-team leagues.
Avery Bradley scores 10 points vs. Pistons 02-09-2018
Avery Bradley G LAC
Avery Bradley scored 10 points with eight rebounds and nothing else in 28 minutes vs. his former Pistons on Friday. Needless to say, the Pistons didn't have a tribute video for him in his first trip back to Little Caesars Arena. His eight rebounds were a season-high, but he has really fallen off in that category -- he grabbed 8+ rebounds 17 times last season. He's averaging 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in his first three games with the Clippers, and he's yet to hit a 3-pointer on seven attempts. He's a low-end fantasy asset, but there might be someone better on your wire.
Jose Calderon starts 02-09-2018
Jose Calderon G CLE
Jose Calderon scored 11 points with five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes against the Hawks in a start on Friday. He'll be out of the rotation with Jordan Clarkson and George Hill around. Calderon is still a fantasy legend.
Cedi Mind Tricks: Osman thrives in 1st start 02-09-2018
Cedi Osman F CLE
Cedi Osman was phenomenal in his first NBA start against the Hawks on Friday, scoring 16 points with six rebounds, five assists, three steals, two 3-pointers and two turnovers in 39 minutes. No trip to the Dagobah System needed for this Cedi. Osman's play on Wednesday was reportedly part of the reason why Dwyane Wade, was sent to Miami, and it paid immediate dividends. As great as he's been, he'll have some serious competition coming in the form of Rodney Hood, Jordan, Clarkson, Larry Nance and George Hill. He'll probably be sticking in the rotation, but he's only a deep-league flier until we see him do it with a full roster.
Lou Williams scores 26 in win vs. Pistons 02-09-2018
Lou Williams G LAC
Fresh off a new contract extension, Lou Williams dropped 26 points on 7-of-12 shots in Friday's 108-95 win over the Pistons.

ESPN
Williams also hit 8-of-9 free throws, adding six assists, four rebounds, two steals, four triples and four turnovers in 31 minutes. Williams just recently signed a three-year extension worth $24 million that includes a team option for a third season, an absolute bargain for a player that could've easily been selected to the All-Star game. "It was nice for the organization to commit to me the same way I've committed to these guys this year," Williams said. He has top-20 value in 9-category leagues for the past month and could hold early-round value the rest of the way unless the Clippers start to slide in the standings. His fantasy owners should be thrilled he wasn't traded.
Dennis Schroder scores 25 points vs. CLE 02-09-2018
Dennis Schroder G ATL
Dennis Schroder scored 25 points with five rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers in a 123-107 loss to the Cavs on Friday. He was carving up the Cavs in the first half, but the Hawks fell apart in the third quarter to get this game to garbage time. Schroder was called probable for a back issue, but it didn't seem to be bothering him. The Hawks are in the mix for the top spot in the lotto, so hopefully they don't go DNP heavy to finish the season.
De'Aaron Fox will start on Friday night 02-09-2018
De'Aaron Fox G SAC
De'Aaron Fox (ankle) will start on Friday night against the Blazers.

Kayte Christensen on Twitter
He did some work in practice on Wednesday and most signs point to him playing big minutes. Fox is technically the only healthy point guard on the roster, so it'll be interesting to see who backs him up. If he can stay healthy, Fox could be big time.
Nikola Mirotic scores 12 points with 5 boards 02-09-2018
Nikola Mirotic F NO
Nikola Mirotic scored 12 points with five rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the 76ers on Friday. Not many players are as slump prone as Mirotic and he may be in one now, making just 7-of-23 in his last two games. His minutes are still going to be in the mid 30s and he'll be getting his shots with a ton of open looks. He's certainly worth owning, but he'll have his share of bad games like this one.
Tyler Dorsey scores 14 points 02-09-2018
Tyler Dorsey G ATL
Tyler Dorsey scored 14 points with one rebound, one assist and three 3-pointers in 23 minutes against the Cavs on Friday. He's the clear winner from the Marco Belinelli buyout. Dorsey was the first man off the bench as he replaced Taurean Prince, and Dorsey did close over Kent Bazemore on Thursday. His upside isn't the greatest, but Dorsey is now on the radar in 14-team leagues.
Taurean Prince scores 15 on Friday 02-09-2018
Taurean Prince F ATL
Taurean Prince made 5-of-16 from the field for 15 points with three rebounds and one turnover in 25 minutes against the Cavs on Friday. He's probably on the 2017-18 Mount Rushmore for most brutal slumps, and he somehow missed all nine attempts from deep today. Prince's 0-of-9 from deep today puts him in a six-way tie for most attempts without a make this season (Kemba Walker, Eric Gordon, Tim Hardaway Jr, Wes Matthews, Robert Covington). We've said it way too many times, but Prince's slumps aren't enough to cap his upside. He's still a hold as a very annoying fantasy player.
Austin Rivers (ankle) scores 16 in return 02-09-2018
Austin Rivers G LAC
Austin Rivers (ankle) returned from an 18-game absence and showed little to no rust, scoring 16 points with five assists, two rebounds and two triples in 32 minutes in a 108-95 win over Detroit. It's surprising to see him play 32 minutes right away, but maybe Doc was rewarding him for doing all of his chores. All kidding aside, Rivers drew the start at PG with Milos Teodosic (foot) out, but it's currently unclear if the veteran was rested or if this injury could linger. He's worth a look and will probably see heavy minutes at both guard spots even when Teodosic is back.
Ersan Ilyasova scores 12 points 02-09-2018
Ersan Ilyasova F ATL
Ersan Ilyasova scored 12 points with five rebounds, one steal and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the Cavs on Friday. The good news was his playing time was back up from 15 minutes on Thursday, so maybe he can still flirt with minutes in the low 20s. However, the Hawks have their eyes on 2018-19, so Ilyasova's upside will be capped severely. For the third day in a row, a report came out that he doesn't want to be bought out, so don't expect a sudden surge in value either.
Joel Embiid posts 24 and 16 in 100-82 victory 02-09-2018
Joel Embiid C PHI
Joel Embiid went off early against the Pelicans during a 100-82 win on Friday, scoring 24 points with 16 rebounds, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in just 24 minutes. He was unstoppable in the first quarter with 16 points and six boards, and he became the first 76er this season to score at least 20 minutes in the first half (he scored 19 in a previous game). Embiid was questionable for this game due to an ankle issue, but he sure looked healthy today. He does have a back-to-back set against DeAndre Jordan, so his owners will want to look out for news on that one. Only playing 24 minutes probably helps his cause. Trust The Process.
Ben Simmons flirts with a trip-dub 02-09-2018
Ben Simmons G PHI
Ben Simmons made 3-of-11 from the field for 10 points with nine rebounds, eight assists, one block and three steals in 25 minutes against the Pelicans on Friday. While he did struggle from the field, Simmons made all four of his free throws during this easy win. He's actually shot the ball much better lately, making 71.4 percent from the line over his last five. If Simmons can keep it around 70, that will help his value tremendously in nine-category leagues. That member of the Australian Parliament can add this to his next speech.
Dario Saric scores 24 points vs. Pelicans 02-09-2018
Dario Saric F PHI
Dario Saric scored 24 points with five rebounds, four assists and four 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Pelicans on Friday. He's been outstanding for most of the season and the 76ers needed it a lot more than they thought coming into the season. Markelle Fultz (shoulder) has a very good chance to miss this season, which is very good news to keep Saric playing around 30 minutes per night.
Anthony Davis scores just 14 points 02-09-2018
Anthony Davis F NO
Anthony Davis scored 14 points with eight rebounds, one steal and no turnovers during a 100-82 loss to the 76ers on Friday. It was one of his worst games on defense with Joel Embiid giving him the business in the first half. Worse news is the Pelicans have now dropped three in a row and now they're on the outside looking in for the playoffs with the Clippers passing them. Plus, the Jazz are red hot and are probably going to pass them soon to bump them to 10th. It's not panic time for AD by any stretch, but his owners would like for him to win more games to keep his game log high.
Jrue Holiday scores nine in 23 minutes 02-09-2018
Jrue Holiday G NO
Jrue Holiday scored nine points with one rebound, two blocks and three turnovers in 23 minutes against the 76ers on Friday. He was really the only one to show up on defense in the first quarter as the Pelicans fell behind 32-14 after one. Holiday has been one of the more consistent players in the league and he's a decent bet for 20 points per game in the rest of the way with loaded stat lines. Regardless of if Rajon Rondo comes off the bench, Holiday will get his in the post-Boogie era.
Lauri Markkanen starting on Friday 02-09-2018
Lauri Markkanen F CHI
Lauri Markkanen is starting on Friday against the Wolves. He has been expected to play for a few days after a flight complication kept him from playing on Monday. With the Bulls ready for a youth movement, Lauri could be in for a big finish. Or is it Finnish?
Cheick Diallo stays in the rotation 02-09-2018
Cheick Diallo F NO
Cheick Diallo scored six points with seven boards and one steal in 17 minutes against the 76ers on Friday. The Pelicans look like they'll be giving him some time for now and he was getting run as a backup in the first half. For Diallo to have value, he'll either need an injury or for coach Alvin Gentry to tighten up his rotation. He's only a handcuff for Anthony Davis owners in super deep leagues.
Rajon Rondo comes off the bench 02-09-2018
Rajon Rondo G NO
Rajon Rondo came off the bench on Friday with five points, four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals in 25 minutes against the 76ers. This was probably not the best idea to bring Rondo off the bench, but it's not foreign territory to him with 27 games off the bench last season -- he started every game he played in the previous 10 seasons. Rondo will probably be back in the starting unit soon, but he only has low-end fantasy upside as an assists specialist. Also, he was 1-of-4 from the line tonight after going 6-of-11 in his previous 951 minutes this season.
Shabazz Napier (toe) available vs. Kings 02-09-2018
Shabazz Napier G POR
Shabazz Napier (great left toe) is available for Friday night against the Kings.

Casey Holdahl on Twitter
He's had some toe soreness for most of this month, so this likely will linger until at least the All-Star break. Napier probably needs an injury to have fantasy value in most leagues.
Darius Miller gets garbage time 02-09-2018
Darius Miller F NO
Darius Miller scored 13 points with six rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the 76ers on Friday. Don't let the playing time fool you because this was all about the garbage time in a 100-82 loss. Miller's playing time will likely be closer to 20 minutes most nights, which won't give him enough value in most leagues.
DeAndre Liggins doesn't score 02-09-2018
DeAndre Liggins G NO
DeAndre Liggins did not score in a start against the 76ers on Fridays adding five rebounds, one assist and two steals in 19 minutes. Yeah, this lineup probably won't last long. It makes sense to start a defense-first player next to the other four starters, but doesn't Darius Miller make more sense? Either way, you're not adding Liggins in almost any league.
E'Twaun Moore scores just four points 02-09-2018
E'Twaun Moore G NO
E'Twaun Moore scored four points with one rebound, one assist and one steal in 24 minutes against the 76ers on Friday. He's had two really bad games since Nikola Mirotic showed up and it's fairly clear his value will be going down after a big 26-point game just before Mirotic showed up. Moore is probably someone you should drop to add a post-deadline winner.
Shams: Brandan Wright likely signing w/ HOU 02-09-2018
Brandan Wright F HOU
Brandan Wright is expected to sign with the Rockets for the remainder of the season once he's bought out by the Grizzlies.

Shams Charania on Twitter
He's expected to complete his buyout any day now. Wright could potentially leapfrog Nene for the backup center job behind Clint Capela, but there's not much fantasy appeal here. The 30-year-old veteran has career averages of 7.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks.
Jae Crowder is inactive Friday 02-09-2018
Jae Crowder F UTH
Jae Crowder will not play on Friday vs. Charlotte.

Kyle Goon on Twitter
All the players involved in the three-team trade have to pass physicals before anyone can play, so Crowder won't debut until Sunday vs. the Blazers. Keep an eye on him, but Crowder does have a lot of competition in Royce O'Neale and Joe Ingles.
Noah Vonleh not playing Friday 02-09-2018
Noah Vonleh F CHI
Noah Vonleh will not play on Friday and could be with the team on Saturday.

Cody Westerlund on Twitter
The Bulls are expected to go with a youth movement, so maybe Vonleh gets minutes at some point. There's still no reason to stash him in almost any league.
Shaun Livingston (elbow soreness) is probable 02-09-2018
Shaun Livingston G GS
Shaun Livingston (left elbow soreness) is probable on Saturday vs. the Spurs.

Warriors PR on Twitter
He's had this injury for a few days now, but he's not expected to miss any time. He'll see minutes in the teens on Saturday and doesn't have much value while Curry is healthy.
P.J. Tucker will start again vs. Denver 02-09-2018
PJ Tucker F HOU
P.J. Tucker will start vs. the Nuggets on Friday.

Jonathan Feigen on Twitter
Ryan Anderson (back) is active, but it sounds like this is a matchup move for Houston. Tucker has very little fantasy value, starting or not.
Dragic, Tyler, J-Rich, Winslow & Hassan start 02-09-2018
Tyler Johnson G MIA
Goran Dragic, Tyler Johnson, Josh Richardson, Justise Winslow and Hassan Whiteside will start against the Bucks on Friday. The Heat will still go small and Winslow is probably going to have to guard Giannis Antetokounmpo. Johnson has lost some value recently and the addition of Dwyane Wade didn't help him either.
Austin Rivers (ankle) will start at PG Friday 02-09-2018
Austin Rivers G LAC
Austin Rivers (ankle) will start at point guard on Friday vs. the Pistons. Milos Teodosic (foot) is out, but we'd still expect some restrictions for Rivers right out of the gate. There are a lot of mouths to feed in LA, but Rivers is worth a look if you need a guard.
Report: Grizzlies may buy out Brandan Wright 02-09-2018
Brandan Wright F HOU
According to Memphis reporter Michael Wallace, the Grizzlies could buy out the remainder of Brandan Wright's contract.

Michael Wallace on Twitter
With the Grizzlies going nowhere this season and Wright hitting free agency this summer, this would make sense for both sides. Wallace adds that Wright would likely join a playoff-bound team if he's bought out, but he'd likely have a limited role wherever he lands. Expect the Grizzlies to take an extended look at all of their young bigs going forward.
Dennis Schroder (lower back tightness) starts 02-09-2018
Dennis Schroder G ATL
Dennis Schroder (lower back tightness) is starting against the Cavs on Friday.

KL Chouinard on Twitter
No surprise here with the Hawks listing players as probable all the time. Schroder's minutes should be fine despite the Hawks looking at their youth more often.
Joel Embiid (ankle) will play on Friday night 02-09-2018
Joel Embiid C PHI
Joel Embiid (ankle) will play on Friday night against the Pelicans.

Derek Bodner on Twitter
His ankle injury was not considered serious, but of course it's The Process. It's the front end of a back-to-back set for him, so maybe the 76ers don't totally unleash him. It should be a treat to watch him against Anthony Davis tonight.
Torrey Craig available to play 02-09-2018
Torrey Craig G DEN
Torrey Craig (hamstring) is available to play against the Rockets.

T.J. McBride on Twitter
The Nuggets didn't open up a roster spot, so they still have to get someone off their roster to sign Craig for the season. He may see some time against James Harden.
Ryan Anderson cleared to play Friday 02-09-2018
Ryan Anderson F HOU
Ryan Anderson (ankle) has been cleared to play Friday against the Nuggets.

Jonathan Feigen on Twitter
He was surprisingly held out on Wednesday after he was first called probable to return for Tuesday's game. Anderson isn't the most durable player and the Rockets have depth behind him, so they must feel comfortable he's fine. He's only a low-end hold in 12-team leagues.
Wayne Ellington (shoulder) warming up to play 02-09-2018
Wayne Ellington G MIA
Wayne Ellington (shoulder) is warming up with the intention to play on Friday vs. the Bucks.

Tom D'Angelo on Twitter
It sounds like Ellington is ready to return after a one-game absence. He was in a bad slump, but maybe the shoulder had something to do with it. If you need 3-pointers, Ellington is as good of a specialist as you will find.
Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson cleared to play 02-09-2018
Eric Gordon G HOU
Eric Gordon (back) and Ryan Anderson (ankle) are cleared to play against the Nuggets on Friday.

Jonathan Feigen on Twitter
Gordon's back injury was never really considered serious, but he does have quite a history of back problems. The Rockets may want to ease him back into action for this game, but Gerald Green, Luc Mbah a Moute and P.J. Tucker will be losing minutes. Gordon is only a lukewarm hold as a specialist in shallower leagues.
Larry Nance won't play Friday 02-09-2018
Larry Nance Jr. F CLE
Larry Nance won't play on Friday vs. the Hawks.

Marla Ridenour on Twitter
He's in the building, but none of the new Cavaliers are going to be active tonight. Nance should see plenty of minutes in Cleveland, especially with Kevin Love (hand) out several more weeks. He's worth picking up in standard leagues.
Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance out for Friday 02-09-2018
Jordan Clarkson G CLE
Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance will not play against the Hawks on Friday.

Marla Ridenour on Twitter
The Cavs won't have their new-look roster at full strength today with Rodney Hood and George Hill also out. Clarkson is going to have more talent around him in what should be a second-unit role, so his fantasy value may be taking a hit. Plus, he is less likely to close games.
Hawks officially waive Marco Belinelli 02-09-2018
Marco Belinelli G PHI
Marco Belinelli has been officially waived by the Hawks.

Hawks on Twitter
Assuming he clears waivers, Belinelli will be a free agent and can sign with any team he wants. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said the Thunder, Spurs and 76ers tried to obtain him at the deadline and they do have a roster spot, so they are the likely landing spots for the sharpshooter. He wouldn't have much value on those teams, though. Tyler Dorsey gets a bump with this news.
Danuel House and Alec Peters with NAZ Suns 02-09-2018
Alec Peters F PHO
Danuel House and Alec Peters are with the Northern Arizona Suns this weekend.

Scott Bordow on Twitter
That should be an indication the Alex Len may finally be getting close to full health. Peters isn't on the fantasy radar.
George Hill will not play on Friday 02-09-2018
George Hill G CLE
George Hill will not play on Friday vs. the Hawks.

Marla Ridenour on Twitter
All players involved in a trade have to pass their medicals before any of them can play, but Iman Shumpert won't have his until Saturday. That means Hill's debut won't be until Sunday vs. Boston. Hill is an 85th percentile defender against PNR ball-handlers this season according to Synergy and should give Cleveland's woeful defense a boost. He's a solid pickup for his points, triples, dimes and steals.
Rodney Hood, George Hill will not play Friday 02-09-2018
Rodney Hood G CLE
Rodney Hood and George Hill will not play Friday against the Hawks.

Dave McMenamin on Twitter
They are waiting for Iman Shumpert to complete his physical, so they are not cleared to play yet. Hood is in an interesting spot and he may be a nice offensive fit next to Jordan Clarkson in the second unit. His value likely takes a hit, but he may still be able to hold around top 100-120 value in standard leagues.
Milos Teodosic (foot) will not play on Friday 02-09-2018
Milos Teodosic G LAC
Milos Teodosic (foot) will not play on Friday against the Pistons. It's the front end of a back-to-back set, so that may explain this one. Teodosic has been held in check since his plantar fascia injury back in October, so expect the Clippers to continue to limit him until at least after the break. With him out, Austin Rivers should help out and maybe Tyrone Wallace gets minutes.
Austin Rivers says he's playing vs. Pistons 02-09-2018
Austin Rivers G LAC
Austin Rivers (ankle) said he's playing vs. Detroit on Friday.

James Edwards III on Twitter
The team also confirmed he is available to play. This has been his target date all along and he's been progressing for over a week now. Rivers may be coming off the bench because now he's got some competition for minutes with Avery Bradley around. Rivers is still worth a look in most leagues, but pickups like George Hill or D.J. Augustin offer more upside.
Pat McCaw sent down 02-09-2018
Patrick McCaw G GS
Pat McCaw was assigned to the G League. He was considered as one of the top second-round picks last year, but McCaw has regressed this season. He has said all the right things about the demotion, so hopefully he comes back a better player. He'll be smashing the G League competition.
Joel Embiid (ankle) is a game-time call 02-09-2018
Joel Embiid C PHI
Joel Embiid (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Friday against the Pelicans.

Derek Bodner on Twitter
He'll be going through warmups and a decision will be made after that. The 76ers start a back-to-back set tonight, so it may make sense to sit him out this evening. If he's out, Richaun Holmes and Amir Johnson will be logging the center minutes.
Shabazz Napier (toe) questionable vs. SAC 02-09-2018
Shabazz Napier G POR
Shabazz Napier (left toe) is questionable for Friday's game at Sacramento

NBCS Northwest on Twitter
The Blazers should be OK without him because of Moe Harkless stepping up recently. After coach Terry Stotts teased us with more Napier minutes, it's faded away. He doesn't have much value.
James Ennis is out Friday 02-09-2018
Jameer Nelson G DET
James Ennis is out for Friday against the Clippers.

Rod Beard on Twitter
He got stuck behind in bad weather and will join the team on Saturday. Ennis is likely just going to serve as emergency depth.
Rockets, Thunder in on Tony Allen 02-09-2018
Tony Allen F CHI
The Rockets and Thunder are inquiring about Tony Allen, according to NBA.com's David Aldridge.

David Aldridge on Twitter
The artist formerly known as The Grindfather is probably only going to be viewed as a locker room presence these days. He'll latch on to a contender at some point, but he's not a good bet to get consistent rotation minutes.
Tyreke Evans surprised he was traded 02-09-2018
Tyreke Evans G MEM
Tyreke Evans said he was "a little bit" surprised about not being traded.

NBA.com
You're not alone, Tyreke. He also said he "definitely" wanted to be on a playoff team, but he was talking about that overall and not specifically this season. The Grizzlies are headed for a high lottery pick, and it'll be interesting to see how they treat Evans. Plus, Evans getting more playing time with the Grizzlies may not help his free agency value this summer, especially considering his injury history. That said, his fantasy owners got lucky the Grizzlies sat on their hands at the deadline, so he's a must-start option in all leagues.
Tyler Ulis not expected to play Saturday 02-09-2018
Tyler Ulis G PHO
Tyler Ulis (back) is not expected to play against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Scott Bordow on Twitter
He suffered a back injury on Wednesday and he's going to lose even more playing time upon his return with Elfrid Payton in the mix. Josh Gray will back up Payton, and Ulis can be dropped just about everywhere.
Tony Parker out with back tightness 02-09-2018
Tony Parker G SA
Tony Parker (back tightness) is out for Saturday's game against the Warriors.

Spurs on Twitter
The Spurs are always careful with their injured players, so there's a very good chance Parker is out beyond Saturday. It's also somewhat interesting that it's a national game, so maybe he's hurt more than the usual times. Either way, we'll see more Bryn Forbes, Derrick White and Patty Mills.
Dejounte Murray, Tony Parker out Saturday 02-09-2018
Dejounte Murray G SA
Dejounte Murray (sprained left ankle) and Tony Parker (back tightness) are out for Saturday's game against the Warriors.

Spurs on Twitter
His ankle sprain didn't look bad as he was driving to the basket against the Suns, but the Spurs will just hold him out. With Murray and Parker out, it should be Patty Mills, Bryn Forbes and Derrick White getting some extra minutes. If you wanted to drop Murray because you need games right now in a shallower league, it's an option.
De'Aaron Fox (ankle) is probable Friday 02-09-2018
De'Aaron Fox G SAC
De'Aaron Fox (ankle) is probable for Friday against the Blazers.

Jason Jones on Twitter
He went through non-contact portions of practice on Wednesday and he should be on track to play in the late game. Fox should have a slight increase in usage with George Hill gone, but really the biggest hurdle for him recently has been to stay healthy.
Garrett Temple is probable 02-09-2018
Garrett Temple G SAC
Garrett Temple (mouth) is probable for Friday against the Blazers on Friday.

Jason Jones on Twitter
It sounds like he's going to play and it'll be interesting to see how the Kings play it with George Hill gone. Plus, Malachi Richardson was also an option when they rested guys, so maybe Temple plays almost every night. Either way, he's not someone most owners should take a chance on.
Devin Booker (hip) doesn't practice Friday 02-09-2018
Devin Booker G PHO
Devin Booker (hip) did not practice on Friday.

Scott Bordow on Twitter
There's a good chance he is not going to play against the Nuggets. Booker said he's taking it day by day, but he still hasn't ruled himself out for the 3-point contest. Not having a practice likely means he's out Saturday and there's a good chance he's out until the break. The arrival of Elfrid Payton shouldn't affect him negatively once he's back.
Woj: Hawks to buy out Marco Belinelli 02-09-2018
Marco Belinelli G PHI
Marco Belinelli is finalizing a buyout agreement with the Atlanta Hawks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.

Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter
New Cavs not likely to play 02-09-2018
George Hill G CLE
George Hill, Jordan Clarkson and Rodney Hood are not expected to play on Friday.

Joe Vardon on Twitter
The Cavs committed some major money to these guys, so they'll be playing once active. Hill is a terrific fit in the offense, posting a 47.1 percentage on catch-and-shoot treys to help him be a 98th percentile scorer in both spot-up and hand-off plays. Injury concerns aside, he should be owned in standard leagues.
Quincy Acy (finger) available for Saturday 02-09-2018
Quincy Acy F BKN
Quincy Acy (finger) is available for Saturday against the Pelicans on Saturday.

Greg Logan on Twitter
Presumably, he'll be in the starting lineup with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson already ruled out. Acy could be giving way to rookie James Webb III while DeMarre Carroll is going to play a lot of four, too. Acy's upside isn't high enough to add in even 16-team leagues.
Caris LeVert (knee) ruled out Saturday 02-09-2018
Caris LeVert G BKN
Caris LeVert (right knee sprain) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. New Orleans.

Brian Lewis on Twitter
LeVert was initially injured on Tuesday in a violent collision with Rockets' center Nene, and was unable to play Wednesday. Fortunately, according to Brain Lews of the New York Post, LeVert is "fine from the concussion point of view." It's simply the knee issue that is keeping him sidelined. Joe Harris, Nik Stauskas and D'Angelo Russell will divvy up additional minutes in LeVert's absence.
Hollis-Jefferson and LeVert both out Saturday 02-09-2018
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson F BKN
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) and Caris LeVert (knee, concussion) have been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. New Orleans.

Brian Lewis on Twitter
Aaron Gordon (hip) ruled out Saturday vs. MIL 02-09-2018
Aaron Gordon F ORL
Aaron Gordon (right hip flexor), Nikola Vucevic (hand), Terrence Ross (knee) and Jonathan Isaac (ankle) have all been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. Milwaukee.

Josh Robbins on Twitter
This will be the seventh straight game Gordon has missed, and it's not encouraging that he keeps getting ruled out a day ahead of each contest. After Saturday, the Magic have just two more games before the All-Star break. With the team in tank mode, they may very well choose to keep him out until after the break, which would give him an extra nine days of rest. Mario Hezonja has been the primary beneficiary in Gordon's absence. Hezonja is averaging 14.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.7 treys and 1.2 steals in 27.5 minutes over Orlando's last six contests.
Tyreke Evans expected to play Sunday vs. OKC 02-09-2018
Tyreke Evans G MEM
Tyreke Evans is practicing with the Grizzlies on Friday and is expected to play Sunday vs. OKC.

Peter Edmiston on Twitter
Evans has not played since Jan. 29th, as the Grizzlies sat him out in hopes of dealing him before the trade deadline. However, they were unable to find a team willing to move a first-round pick. Evans staying in Memphis is arguably the best-case scenario for fantasy value. He will continue to post a high usage rate as the lead playmaker and scorer in Memphis. Evans currently ranks 41st overall in nine-category leagues this season.
Jae Crowder unlikely to play Friday vs. CHA 02-09-2018
Jae Crowder F UTH
Jae Crowder is "highly unlikely" to play Friday vs. the Hornets.

Andy Larsen on Twitter
This was expected, as all players involved in the three-team megadeal need to pass physicals before the trade is officially completed. Crower had seen his fantasy value hit rock bottom in Cleveland, so there is a chance it increases in Utah. However, he will have to compete for minutes with Joe Ingles, Royce O'Neale and Derrick Favors.
John Henson (hamstring) will play Friday 02-09-2018
John Henson F MIL
John Henson (hamstring) will play Friday vs. the Heat.

Bucks PR on Twitter
Henson sat out Tuesday's win over the Knicks but was able to participate fully in practice on Thursday. Henson is averaging 10.1 points (on 59.4 percent shooting), 7.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks over his last 40 games.
Devin Harris out Friday, questionable Sat 02-09-2018
Devin Harris G DEN
Coach Michael Malone said that Devin Harris might be able to join the Nuggets Saturday night in Phoenix, but it is unknown if he will be ready to play vs. the Suns.

Gina Mizell on Twitter
Based on Malone's comments, we can infer that Harris will not play Friday vs. Houston. When he does suit up, Harris will likely provide some decent minutes off the bench, but not enough to be a fantasy asset. He can be left on waivers.
Dennis Schroder (back) probable for Friday 02-09-2018
Dennis Schroder G ATL
Dennis Schroder (lower back tightness) is listed as probable for Friday's game vs. Atlanta.

Chris Vivlamore on Twitter
Schroder was dealing with a shoulder injury last week but never missed a game due to that ailment. He is on track to remain in the lineup on Friday and would be deployed as usual. Just check back prior to tip-off for confirmation that he is good to go.
Markieff Morris (hand) does not practice Fri 02-09-2018
Markieff Morris F WAS
Markieff Morris (swollen left hand) did not practice with the team on Friday.

Chase Hughes on Twitter
Morris injured his hand on Tuesday during a tussle with Joel Embiid in the games vs. the Sixers. Morris was able to play Thursday, but wore a wrap around his left thumb and wrist in that contest. We'll consider Morris questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Bulls. Mike Scott and Jason Smith would see an uptick in minutes if Morris is unable to play.
Luke Babbitt cleared to play Friday vs. MIL 02-09-2018
Luke Babbitt F MIA
Luke Babbitt has been cleared to play Friday vs. the Bucks.

Heat PR on Twitter
Miami acquired Babbitt from the Hawks prior to Thursday's deadline. Babbitt can shoot from distance but is unlikely to see consistent minutes unless there is an injury to the players ahead of him on the depth chart. He should be left on waivers.
Dwyane Wade available to play Friday vs. MIL 02-09-2018
Dwyane Wade G MIA
Dwyane Wade will be available to play Friday vs. Milwaukee, but will not start.

Ira Winderman on Twitter
Wayne Ellington (shoulder) questionable Fri 02-09-2018
Wayne Ellington G MIA
Coach Erik Spoelstra said that Wayne Ellington (shoulder) is "somewhere between probable and questionable" for Friday's game vs. the Bucks.

Andre Fernandez on Twitter
Ellington did not play Wednesday vs. the Rockets but was able to get some shots up at Thursday's practice. This is shaping up as a game-time decision. The Heat added Dwyane Wade and Luke Babbitt at the deadline, which limits Ellington's upside over the second half of the season. Both Wade and Babbitt will be available to play Friday vs. Milwaukee.
Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) ruled out Friday 02-09-2018
Kelly Olynyk C MIA
Kelly Olynyk (left shoulder strain) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. Milwaukee.

Ira Winderman on Twitter
This was expected, as Kelly O was unable to practice on Thursday and initially listed as doubtful. Hassan Whiteside, Bam Adebayo and James Johnson will divvy up additional minutes with Olynyk sidelined. Miami doesn't play again until Tuesday. We will await another update on Olynyk over the weekend.
Bulls officially waive G/F Tony Allen 02-09-2018
Tony Allen F CHI
The Bulls have officially waived G/F Tony Allen.

Bulls PR on Twitter
Allen was acquired on February 1 in a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans, but was never part of the Bulls plans going forward. Allen will look to join a contender that gives him a chance to compete for a title. Even at 36 years of age, he can still bring perimeter defense to the table. However, his fantasy value is nonexistent and he should be left on waivers in all formats.
Joe Johnson to accept buyout from Kings 02-09-2018
Joe Johnson G HOU
Joe Johnson will "definitely get his buyout" from the Kings, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

Marc Stein on Twitter
Joel Embiid (ankle) questionable Friday 02-09-2018
Joel Embiid C PHI
Joel Embiid (right ankle) is questionable for Friday's game vs. New Orleans.

Rich Hoffman on Twitter
Embiid is dealing with a right ankle issue, and it's also noteworthy that Friday night is the front end of a back-to-back for the Sixers. Embiid was cleared last week to play in the first back-to-back of his career, but it's unknown if Philadelphia will continue to play him on consecutive nights for the rest of the season. If Embiid is fighting through a nagging ankle injury, they may choose to err on the side of caution. If Embiid is ruled out, Amir Johnson and Richaun Holmes will divvy up minutes at center.
Markelle Fultz (shoulder) may miss the season 02-09-2018
Markelle Fultz G PHI
Sixers GM Bryan Colangelo said on Friday that there is possibly that Markelle Fultz (shoulder) returns soon, but that "there is a chance" that Fultz will not play again this season.

Jon Johnson on Twitter
Here is the full quote from Colangelo when asked about Fultz' availability: "There's always a chance that he's going to be out there soon, and there's a chance that he's not gonna play this year. I can't answer that question because we don't know the answer to that." Fultz's injury and rehab have been a mess since day one, and it doesn't appear there has been a substantial improvement over the last couple of weeks. Stay tuned for a further update. It seems safe to leave him on waivers in standard-sized re-draft leagues.
Reggie Jackson (ankle) now targeting March? 02-09-2018
Reggie Jackson G DET
A report on NBA.com indicated that Reggie Jackson (ankle) is expected to return "likely sometime in early March."

NBA.com
Jackson was given a 6-8 week timetable back in late December, so there was hope he'd be cleared to play after the All-Star break later this month. However, it now looks like early March is a more realistic target date. Ish Smith will continue to start at point guard, with the newly acquired Jameer Nelson backing him up.
Nelson and Ennis questionable Friday 02-09-2018
Jameer Nelson G DET
Both Jameer Nelson (trade completion) and James Ennis (trade completion) are listed as questionable in the game notes for Friday's game vs. the Clippers.

NBA.com
The Pistons acquired both players prior to Thursday's deadline. All players involved in the deals need to complete physicals for the trades to become official. We should have an update on their status by Friday afternoon. If they are available to play, it's very unlikely they would see anything more than spot minutes, as they haven't had a chance to familiarize themselves with the team and the Pistons playbook, etc.
Channing Frye likely to play Saturday vs. DAL 02-09-2018
Channing Frye F LAL
Coach Luke Walton said that he expects both Isaiah Thomas and Channing Frye to join the Lakers in Dallas and to be available to play Saturday night vs. the Mavs.

Mike Trudell on Twitter
It appears the Frye will stick with the Lakers, as opposed to being bought out. The Lakers have plenty of depth along their frontline, which will make it difficult for Frye to earn consistent minutes over the second half of the season. He can be left on waivers.
Eric Gordon (back) questionable for Friday 02-09-2018
Eric Gordon G HOU
Eric Gordon (back) is listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. Dallas.

NBA.com
Gordon returned from a back injury to log 28 minutes on Tuesday, but then sat out Wednesday's win over the Heat. Ryan Anderson (ankle) is also questionable. We should have an update on their status after Friday morning's shootaround. If they are both unable to suit up, Luc Mbah a Moute, Gerald Green, Markel Brown and P.J. Tucker will divvy up plenty of additional minutes.
Ryan Anderson (ankle) questionable Friday 02-09-2018
Ryan Anderson F HOU
Ryan Anderson (ankle) is listed as questionable on the injury report for Friday's game vs. Denver.

NBA.com
Anderson was a game-time decision for Wednesday's matchup with Miami but was still experiencing quite a bit of pain during pregame warmups and decided to sit it out. Eric Gordon (back) is also questionable for Friday and Trevor Ariza (groin) has been ruled out. Luc Mbah a Moute, P.J. Tucker and Gerald Green are once again in line for extended minutes.
Lonzo Ball (knee) ruled out Saturday vs. DAL 02-09-2018
Lonzo Ball G LAL
Lonzo Ball (knee) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Mavericks.

Ohm Youngmisuk on Twitter
Lonzo will reportedly travel to Dallas with the team for Saturday's game; however, with the Lakers not practicing on the travel day, Ball is unable to get a practice in. Coach Luke Walton has stated that he wants Ball to put in some solid practice time before he returns to game action. Isaiah Thomas is expected to be available for Saturday's game, which means he will likely draw the start.

Evan Turner returned to action on Thursday February 8.
Kyle Kuzma goes for 16 & 9 in win over OKC 02-09-2018
Kyle Kuzma F LAL
Kyle Kuzma hit 6-of-15 shots and two 3-pointers for 16 points, nine rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks in 24 minutes in Thursday's win over the Thunder. Kuzma gets a boost with Larry Nance in Cleveland and played very well tonight, and the two blocks were a nice bonus. Kuzma's not starting for the Lakers, and probably won't any time soon, but if he's sitting on your waiver wire, or you want to use him while his price is low in DFS, now is the time to pounce.
Josh Hart plays well again on Thursday 02-09-2018
Josh Hart G LAL
Josh Hart hit 4-of-9 shots and two 3-pointers for 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block in 33 minutes in Thursday's win over the Thunder. Hart's going to take a hit once Lonzo Ball and Isaiah Thomas are back in the fold for the Lakers, but he's played well enough over the past few weeks to be held until we see how things shake out once the new lineup is in place. And the fact he can play three positions doesn't hurt his fantasy value, either.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scores 20 in win 02-09-2018
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope G LAL
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope hit 7-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers for 20 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal in 31 minutes of Thursday's impressive 106-81 win over the Thunder.

USA Today
KCP's likely to take a hit once Isaiah Thomas is in town and Lonzo Ball is healthy, as Rich Paul is reporting that Thomas and Lonzo Ball will start together, once Ball is healthy. If you want to sell high on KCP, now looks like the time.
Frank Kaminsky scores 17 points with four 3s 02-09-2018
Frank Kaminsky F CHA
Frank Kaminsky scored 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting Thursday, to go with six rebounds, four 3-pointers, one assist, two steals and one turnover in 30 minutes off the bench. Kaminsky has actually been better as a reserve this season, so Marvin Williams' (ankle) return isn't necessarily a negative for his value. That said, he's been consistently inconsistent this season, and can really only be viewed as a low-end source of triples in deep leagues.
Dwight Howard grabs 15 boards in OT loss 02-09-2018
Dwight Howard C CHA
Dwight Howard brought down 15 rebounds on Thursday to go with seven points, one assist, one block and one turnover in 39 minutes. D12 did a nice job on the boards, but he basically got punked by Jusuf Nurkic on both ends of the floor, and finished just 3-of-11 from the field. This was his first single-digit scoring outing since January 12, but we'd expect a bit of a bounce-back performance on Friday.
Marvin Williams logs 23 minutes in return 02-09-2018
Marvin Williams F CHA
Marvin Williams (ankle) looked fine in his return from a four-game absence on Thursday, tallying 10 points, two 3-pointers, four rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two turnovers in 23 minutes. The ankle looked like a complete non-issue for Williams, and considering he only played 23 minutes, he should be fine for Friday's game in Utah. He was one of just two players to hit at least 50 percent of his shot attempts for Charlotte (Kemba Walker was the other guy), and tonight's stat line was a pretty good representation of what we can expect from Williams on a nightly basis. He's just a low-end guy, but he doesn't really hurt you anywhere.
Nicolas Batum hits 5-of-15 shots for 11 pts 02-09-2018
Nicolas Batum G CHA
Nicolas Batum struggled with his shot during Thursday's overtime loss to Portland, going 5-of-15 from the field on his way to 11 points in 39 minutes of action. The Hornets got off to a horrible start in this one, going just 7-of-23 from the field through the first quarter of action, and Batum was part of that efficiency problem. Some of that was due to some stingy defense from the Trail Blazers, but he also missed a handful of wide-open looks. It wasn't all bad though, as Batum still contributed one 3-pointer, two rebounds, five assists and four steals while he was out there.
Kemba Walker's 40 points not enough for CHA 02-09-2018
Kemba Walker G CHA
Kemba Walker netted 40 points on 13-of-26 shooting Thursday, to go with six 3-pointers, one rebound, three assists and four steals, but the end result was a 109-103 overtime loss to Portland. Walker took over down the stretch, rocking an insane 65.8 usage rate through the fourth quarter of action as he scored 15 straight points to force overtime. He was also a perfect 8-of-8 from the charity stripe to give him a sterling 67.8 true shooting percentage, and he was phenomenal on the defensive end of the floor, holding Damian Lillard to just 6-of-22 shooting. He was named Kristaps Porzingis (knee) replacement in the All-Star game today, and it's obvious why.
Moe Harkless doesn't do much in 32 minutes 02-09-2018
Maurice Harkless F POR
Moe Harkless didn't do much in his 32 minutes of floor time on Thursday, scoring eight points on 4-of-7 shooting to go with five rebounds and one block in an overtime win over the Hornets. Harkless remained in the starting five despite the return of Evan Turner (calf), but that move might have been made to conserve Turner's minutes. Harkless had a nice 19-point showing through 31 minutes of action on Sunday, but he's done a whole lot of nothing ever since.
Al-Farouq Aminu hauls down 15 rebounds in win 02-09-2018
Al-Farouq Aminu F POR
Al-Farouq Aminu brought down a team-high 15 rebounds during Thursday's overtime win over the Hornets, adding six points, two assists, three steals and one turnover in 36 minutes. Aminu went 2-of-7 from the field and 1-of-2 from the stripe, more or less making this your prototypical Aminu line. He won't do much for you in the scoring department, and his shooting percentages often aren't pretty, but he can chip in enough triples, boards, dimes and steals to preserve his late-round value. He is what he is.
Jusuf Nurkic posts 24-14-4-2 line in OT win 02-09-2018
Jusuf Nurkic C POR
Jusuf Nurkic went hard in the paint during Thursday's overtime win over Charlotte, finishing with 24 points, 14 rebounds, one assist, two steals, four blocks and seven turnovers in 33 minutes. This was a solid bounce-back performance for Nurkic, who struggled through 26 minutes of action on Monday, and the Blazers did a nice job of getting him involved early on. He went to work against Dwight Howard in the post, fearlessly attacking him on offense and giving him the business on the defensive end of the floor. He did, unfortunately, cough up the rock seven times, but it's tough to complain much when he's offering up stat lines like these.
Evan Turner nets 13 points in overtime win 02-09-2018
Evan Turner G POR
Evan Turner (calf) came off the bench in his return from a one-game absence on Thursday, scoring 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting to go with one 3-pointer, two rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes. Turner said prior to the game that he expected to be on a 15-20 minute limit, as the calf had been bothering him over the past 10 days, and he did appear to be wincing a bit throughout the game. The Blazers take on the 17-36 Kings on Friday in the second game of this back-to-back set, so owners might want to confirm Turner's status prior to tip-off, as it wouldn't be terribly shocking to see him sit that one out.
Isaiah Thomas expected to be available vs DAL 02-09-2018
Isaiah Thomas G LAL
Isaiah Thomas is expected to be available for Saturday against the Mavs.

Mike Trudell on Twitter
Coach Luke Walton wouldn't say how much Isaiah Thomas would play. There was some talk that Thomas wants to start for the Lakers, and presumably he'll get his chance to while Lonzo Ball (knee) is out. When Ball is back, it's going to be very tough for IT to hold the starting job at the point -- Kentavious Caldwell-Pope could also move to the bench. Thomas' fantasy value improves while he's active with the Lakers.
C.J. McCollum scores 22 points with two treys 02-09-2018
CJ McCollum G POR
C.J. McCollum scored 22 points on 7-of-18 shooting Thursday, to go with two 3-pointers, four rebounds, three assists and four turnovers in 41 minutes. Portland got off to a solid start, opening the game with a 20-5 run, but some sloppy turnovers during the second half helped Charlotte stay in the game and force an overtime period. McCollum is typically much better with the rock, but Nicolas Batum did a good job of pressuring him and forcing him to make tough decisions. He should be better on Friday in Sacramento.
Damian Lillard hits 6-of-22 shots for 18 pts 02-09-2018
Damian Lillard G POR
Damian Lillard went 6-of-22 from the field and 3-of-3 from the line on his way to 18 points over 42 minutes in Thursday's overtime win over the Hornets. Lillard struggled to get his shot to drop as he was harassed by Kemba Walker all night long, but he still came through with three triples, four boards, eight dimes and one steal in the 109-103 win. The Blazers get a much more favorable matchup against the Kings tomorrow, so we'd expect Dame to come through with a more efficient outing in that one.
Brook Lopez goes for 9 & 9 and 1 block 02-09-2018
Brook Lopez C LAL
Brook Lopez played 24 minutes and hit just 4-of-14 shots for nine points, nine rebounds and one block in Thursday's win over the Thunder.

USA Today
He's actually played between 23 and 35 minutes in each of his last four games and is playing much better than he was, scoring in double digits in three of his last four and hitting 11 3-pointers in the process. He's still not a great rebounder and Julius Randle is still the guy, but Bro-Lo appears to be coming on with Larry Nance out of the picture. He's still a marginal center, but he could be ready to finally start performing.
Jerami Grant quiet in 23 minutes 02-09-2018
Jerami Grant F OKC
Jerami Grant played 23 minutes off the bench and hit 4-of-9 shots for eight points, eight boards and two blocks in Thursday's blowout loss to the Lakers. We thought Grant might get more minutes and put up bigger numbers with Carmelo Anthony out with an ankle injury, not too mention Russell Westbrook (ankle) but it wasn't meant to be. Grant has actually been playing well, so if Melo's ankle problem lingers, it's not crazy to think that Grant will be better than this on most nights when that's the case.
Stephen Curry scores 20 points vs. Mavs 02-09-2018
Stephen Curry G GS
Stephen Curry scored 20 points with seven rebounds, eight assists, four turnovers and four 3-pointers in a 121-103 win over the Mavs on Thursday.

Anthony Slater on Twitter
To nobody's surprise, the Warriors were not busy at the deadline and didn't make a move today. They were not playing well with losses in three of their last four, but it's really all about their turnovers. General manager Bob Myers did say that the Warriors were still looking into deals. "We were never the lead horse in a race in some of the things we looked at," Myers said. As for Curry, he's cooled off from his MVP-caliber play, but he's still going to be a top-five player going forward.
Raymond Felton starts for OKC in loss 02-09-2018
Raymond Felton G OKC
Raymond Felton started for Russell Westbrook (ankle) on Thursday and had just seven points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes. Westbrook's injury appears to be far from serious and it was surprising to see him miss his first game of the season. Felton is getting up there in years and mileage, so there's no reason to think about picking him up. Especially after this line.
Kevin Durant scores 24 points in win vs. DAL 02-09-2018
Kevin Durant F GS
Kevin Durant scored 24 points with nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks, one steal and four 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Mavs on Thursday. He did not turn the ball over and was the steady hand of the first unit -- all other starters had at least two. Durant's hand was also the story coming into this game after a minor injury to put him on the injury report, but there was never any doubt he'd play. The Warriors aren't playing their best right now, so maybe Durant tries to put the team on his back more often. Plus, it's not likely the Warriors rest their players too often, so his fantasy value is looking good.
David West has strong showing vs. Dallas 02-09-2018
David West F GS
David West scored 10 points with seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block in 17 minutes against the Mavs on Thursday. He was huge off the bench and he saved the day after the Warriors were very, very sloppy. West still doesn't have much fantasy value.
Draymond Green scores 12 points 02-09-2018
Draymond Green F GS
Draymond Green scored 12 points with 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes against the Mavs on Thursday. He got hit with $50K fine today for his argument with a ref, and tonight he wasn't really on his best behavior. Green is sitting at 13 technical fouls on the year, so he's almost a lock to get at least one game on the suspended list.
Paul George scores 29 sans Westbrook 02-09-2018
Paul George F OKC
Paul George hit 11-of-25 shots and five 3-pointers for 29 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and six turnovers in 34 minutes of Thursday's blowout loss to the Lakers. George was great, but the Thunder struggled mightily against the Lakers without Russell Westbrook, who was held out with an ankle injury, and OKC has now lost five of their last six games after going on an eight-game winning streak. PG-13 is good to go on any given night, so his performance in this one was a little disappointing, given that Westbrook was wearing street clothes.
Dirk Nowitzki scores 16 points with 5 steals 02-09-2018
Dirk Nowitzki F DAL
Dirk Nowitzki scored 16 points with 11 rebounds, one assist, five steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday. According to Basketball Reference, he joins Robert Parish and Michael Jordan as the only players at least 39 years old to put up at least five steals and two blocks. The steals jump out and you can blame that on the Warriors being careless with the ball again. Everyone knows the Mavs will be loyal to Dirk on whatever he wants, and it sounds like he wants to play. He's not the most coveted fantasy property, but he'll be helping a lot of teams in the final two months until further notice.
Dwight Powell scores 18 points vs. Warriors 02-09-2018
Dwight Powell F DAL
Dwight Powell scored 18 points with six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 31 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday. Yes, he got a boost without Harrison Barnes around. However, he's really found his rhythm in the starting lineup and had some nice momentum coming into this game, averaging 13.0 points, 9.5 boards, 2.5 dimes, 0.5 blocks and 0.5 steals in his previous two. While the Mavs reportedly want to play Nerlens Noel after the break, don't bet on it. Powell was probably already worth scooping up even before tonight, and tonight will make him an add in 12-team leagues. Doug McDermott shouldn't hurt him.
J.J. Barea moves to starting unit 02-09-2018
J.J. Barea G DAL
J.J. Barea scored six points with eight assists, one steal, one block and one turnover in 28 minutes against the Warriors in the starting lineup on Thursday. He didn't really see much of a boost and that's not much of a surprise. Barea is basically locked in for a role with minutes in the 20s while Dennis Smith Jr. and Yogi Ferrell are active. Unless you already had him on your short list, the needle doesn't move too much with Devin Harris headed to Denver.
Yogi Ferrell scores 10 points 02-09-2018
Yogi Ferrell G DAL
Yogi Ferrell moved to the bench with 10 points, five rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one turnover against the Warriors on Thursday. He is probably going to see minutes close to 30 now because of Devin Harris heading out of town. Ferrell's upside isn't the best right now and he'll probably need J.J. Barea or Dennis Smith Jr. to miss time to be a pickup in 12-team leagues.
Wes Matthews scores 17 points 02-09-2018
Wesley Matthews G DAL
Wes Matthews scored 17 points with two rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday. The Mavs wanted a first-round pick, but NBA teams held their firsts like their first borns today. Matthews should see minutes for the next month at least and the Mavs have given no indication they'll cut his minutes. Plus, they don't have much behind him and Devin Harris leaving helps him, too. He should be owned in fantasy leagues.
