Previous Day Next Day
J.J. Barea cooling down for Mavericks 03-06-2018
J.J. Barea G DAL
J.J. Barea hit 2-of-9 shots for seven points, eight rebounds, six assists, a steal and a 3-pointer in 23 minutes of Tuesday's win over the Nuggets. Barea's line would have looked much better had he hit some shots, but he's finally starting to cool off for the Mavs. Over his last three games, off the bench, he's averaging 8.7 points, 3.3 boards, 4.3 assists and 2.0 3-pointers. That's a far cry from his five-game averages of 16.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 10.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 3.0 3-pointers a week ago. Yogi Ferrell and Dennis Smith Jr. appear to be coming on for the Mavericks, which could be bad news for Barea down the stretch.
Anthony Davis (rib contusion) will return 03-06-2018
Anthony Davis F NO
Anthony Davis has been diagnosed with a rib contusion and will return on Tuesday vs. the Clippers.

Pelicans on Twitter
He took an elbow from DeAndre Jordan and it had to be painful because AD had X-rays. They came back negative and AD will try to finish the game with some padding. We'll let you know how he holds up.
Nerlens Noel goes for 8 & 14 off bench 03-06-2018
Nerlens Noel C DAL
Nerlens Noel played 26 minutes and hit 3-of-6 shots for eight points, a season-high 14 rebounds, a steal and a block in Tuesday's 118-107 win over the Nuggets. He came through against Nikola Jokic, who was benched down the stretch, but this was really one of the first solid games he's played since opening night. If he continues to get heavy minutes the rest of the way, Noel could make some noise for the Mavs, so think about taking a flier on him if you're hurting at center. But be prepared to be disappointed, as he's had a lost season up to this point. We'd still rather own Dwight Powell for now.
Jamal Murray benched in 4Q vs. Dallas 03-06-2018
Jamal Murray G DEN
Jamal Murray was benched for the entire fourth quarter of Tuesday's loss to Dallas, scoring six points with one block and one triple in 24 minutes.

Adam Mares on Twitter
Murray wasn't the only victim of coach Michael Malone's temper tantrum as Nikola Jokic was benched for the entire fourth quarter as well. "We had a couple of guys tonight that um....it's one thing to miss shots and to make mistakes, and it's another thing to go out there and go through the motions," Malone said. Did we mention that the Nuggets are in ninth place and fighting for a playoff spot? Yikes.
Yogi Ferrell scores season-high 24 in win 03-06-2018
Yogi Ferrell G DAL
Yogi Ferrell started again with Wesley Matthews out (hip) and hit 9-of-11 shots and 6-of-7 3-pointers for a season-high 24 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 38 minutes of Tuesday's 118-107 win over the Nuggets. Ferrell hadn't scored more than nine points in his previous four games, but shot it lights-out tonight and was largely responsible for the Mavs getting the unlikely win over one of the league's hottest teams. With nothing left to play for, the Mavs could just turn Yogi loose the rest of the way, making him at least worth a look going forward. But just beware that his scoring lines in his previous four games were 5, 2, 4 and 9.
Dwight Powell scores 14 in win over Nuggets 03-06-2018
Dwight Powell F DAL
Dwight Powell started at center and hit 5-of-9 shots and 4-of-5 free throws for 14 points, four rebounds, two steals and a block in 24 minutes of Tuesday's unlikely win over the Nuggets. Powell only totaled 11 points in his previous two games, but had 11 boards in each of them. He's still rolling, averaging 11.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals on 62 percent shooting over his last five games, meaning he can be used in just about any fantasy league right now.
Anthony Davis (hip) goes to the locker room 03-06-2018
Anthony Davis F NO
Anthony Davis (hip) went back to the locker room in the second quarter of Tuesday's game vs. the Clippers. DeAndre Jordan caught him with an elbow to Davis' left hip and The Brow was wincing quite a bit. The Pelicans called a timeout to get AD out of the game and he went straight back to the locker room. We should get an update during halftime, but hopefully it's just a contusion.
Nikola Jokic benched in 4Q vs. Dallas 03-06-2018
Nikola Jokic C DEN
Nikola Jokic was benched for the entire fourth quarter in Tuesday's 118-107 loss to Dallas, finishing with a season-low four points on 2-of-9 shooting. Coach Michael Malone has done things like this in the past and isn't exactly loved by the fantasy community. What makes this benching even worse is that the Nuggets are sitting in 9th place with the Thunder, Clippers and Jazz all within a couple games of each other. Jokic added nine rebounds with five assists, one block and two steals and has seen his production fall off a cliff since Paul Millsap returned. Malone even said on Monday that his offense still revolves around Jokic, but that wasn't the case tonight.
James Harden double-doubles in another win 03-06-2018
James Harden G HOU
James Harden hit 8-of-13 shots, one 3-pointer and 6-of-7 free throws for 23 points, five rebounds, 11 assists, four steals and a block in 36 minutes of Tuesday's 122-112 win over the Thunder. The Rockets have reeled off 16 straight wins and their last six have come against playoff teams. They've got some tough games coming up, including @ Toronto, vs. the Clippers, @ New Orleans, @ Minnesota and @ Portland, but they'll finish out March with home games against the Hawks, Bulls and Suns. They've got the best record in the league and it's hard to see them not still having it once the regular season ends.
Chris Paul scores 25 in win over Thunder 03-06-2018
Chris Paul G HOU
Chris Paul hit 7-of-14 shots, 5-of-6 3-pointers and 6-of-6 free throws for 25 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals in Tuesday's 122-112 win over the Thunder. Unlike Kyrie Irving, CP3 is playing through his aged knees and killing it. He was much more efficient than Russell Westbrook tonight and was partly responsible for many of Westbrook's nine turnovers. The Rockets have it on cruise control, winning 16 straight games, with their last six coming against playoff teams. As of now, the Rockets look like the favorites to win it all this year.
Paul Millsap struggles w/ foul trouble 03-06-2018
Paul Millsap F DEN
Paul Millsap picked up five fouls and played just 20 minutes vs. the Mavericks on Tuesday, finishing with 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks. It's a shame he got into foul trouble because he was well on his way to a big night and his restrictions were just lifted to 28 minutes. Millsap hit 3-of-10 shots and all six of his free throws, but if there's some good news to take from this game it's that he should be fresh for Wednesday's game vs. Cleveland on the second night of a back-to-back.
Clint Capela quiet in win over Thunder 03-06-2018
Clint Capela C HOU
Clint Capela hit 4-of-6 shots for 10 points, a season-low three rebounds and two blocks in Tuesday's 122-112 win over the Thunder. He was somewhat dominated by Steven Adams, who had 16 points, eight boards and three steals on 7-of-9 shooting tonight. Capela had 17 rebounds against the Celtics on Saturday and 14 boards against the Clippers last Wednesday, so it was tough to see tonight's dud coming. He'll look to bounce back against the Bucks on Wednesday night.
Kelly Oubre (foot) scores 14 points 03-06-2018
Kelly Oubre Jr. F WAS
Kelly Oubre (foot) played through his injury on Tuesday vs. the Heat, scoring 14 points in 28 minutes. He hit all six of his free throws and 3-of-8 shots, adding one rebound, one assist, two steals and two triples. Oubre's foot has been bothering him for a while, but it's likely a wear-and-tear issue because an MRI came back clean. Otto Porter tweaked his troublesome right hip in the win, so Oubre may be asked to step up. In 10 fill-in starts this season, Oubre put up 10.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.8 triples.
Russell Westbrook's 32 not enough vs. HOU 03-06-2018
Russell Westbrook G OKC
Russell Westbrook hit 15-of-27 shots and missed all four of his 3-pointers for 32 points, four rebounds, seven assists, a steal, a block and nine turnovers in Tuesday's 122-112 loss to the Rockets. The Thunder are currently the No. 7 seed, but sit just 1.0 games ahead of the No. 8 Clippers (In action right now) and No. 9 Nuggets, and just 2.0 games ahead of the streaking No. 10 Jazz. The good news for Thunder fans is that they get the Suns on Thursday, the banged up Spurs on Saturday, then the Kings on Monday and Hawks on Tuesday. They'll need to win those games, as things tighten up with the Clippers, Raptors, Celtics, Heat, Blazers, Spurs and Nuggets to close out March. The Thunder clearly have their work cut out for them if they're going to make the playoffs, as April doesn't look any better: They finish the season at New Orleans, vs. Golden State, at Houston, at Miami and at home against the Grizzlies on the final day of the season. Yikes!
Markieff Morris double-doubles vs. Miami 03-06-2018
Markieff Morris F WAS
Markieff Morris double-doubled vs. the Heat on Tuesday with 16 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, one steal and two triples. Morris logged 42 minutes in the overtime win and played some small-ball center as well, hitting 6-of-12 shots and 2-of-3 free throws. He's starting to get into a rhythm with at least 12 points in each of his last five games, averaging 14.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 blocks, 0.6 steals and 1.8 triples in that span. He's one of those guys that is hard to get excited about on your roster but is too good to be on the wire. He'll get a matchup vs. the Pelicans on Friday.
Carmelo Anthony scores 23 in return to action 03-06-2018
Carmelo Anthony F OKC
Carmelo Anthony hit 8-of-18 shots and four 3-pointers for 23 points, four rebounds and one steal in 33 minutes in Tuesday's 122-112 loss to the Rockets after getting a day off on Saturday against the Blazers. The day off apparently did him some good, as he had failed to score more than 14 points in his previous three games. His lack of peripheral stats tonight was disappointing, but at least he scored and hit some threes. The No. 7 Thunder are clinging to playoff life right now, sitting just a game ahead of the No. 8 Clippers and No. 9 Nuggets, with the red-hot No. 10 Jazz just 2.0 games back, so they'll need to continue to get strong play from Melo down the stretch.
Tomas Satoransky scores 19 w/ seven dimes 03-06-2018
Tomas Satoransky F WAS
Tomas Satoransky scored 19 points (6-of-12 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs) with seven assists, three rebounds, one steal and one triple in Tuesday's overtime win vs. Miami. Satoransky was one of three Wizards to log 40+ minutes (Bradley Beal and Markieff Morris), yet another indication of how much coach Scott Brooks trusts him. John Wall (knee) has progressed to light shooting and could be back at some point next week, but Satoranksy surely has earned himself a significant role in this rotation when the Wizards are back at full strength -- Satorasnky has led the Wizards to an 11-6 record since Wall went down.
Nicolas Batum doubles-doubles with 12 & 10 03-06-2018
Nicolas Batum G CHA
Nicolas Batum hit 3-of-5 shots, two 3-pointers and 4-of-4 free throws for 12 points, four rebounds, 10 assists and a steal in 31 minutes of Tuesday's loss to the Sixers. Batum's scoring leaves something to be desired, as he just doesn't take a lot of shots, but he's hot, scoring in double figures in three straight games and five of his last six, and racking up at least seven assists in nine straight games. He's averaging 10.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 9.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 3-pointers over his last five, despite shooting just 38 percent over that stretch. He was a bit disappointing throughout much of the season, but has really turned it on of late.
Bradley Beal scores 30 in OT win vs. Miami 03-06-2018
Bradley Beal G WAS
Bradley Beal scored 30 points in a 117-113 overtime win over the Heat on Tuesday, connecting on 12-of-16 shots.

Washington Post
Beal dished out seven assists with six rebounds and six triples with four turnovers. He played a game-high 43 minutes in the win and came into tonight's game tied with Anthony Davis and LeBron James for the most minutes per game (37.9) since John Wall went down. Coach Scott Brooks said that ideally he'd like to keep Beal around 36 minutes, but it doesn't sound like he has any rest days planned for the SG. Beal has admitted to being tired, but now he gets a few days off before Friday's game vs. the Pelicans.
Dwyane Wade scores 22 points in OT loss 03-06-2018
Dwyane Wade G MIA
Dwyane Wade scored 22 points in Tuesday's overtime loss to the Wizards, adding six assists, two rebounds and one steal.

Tim Reynolds on Twitter
Wade hit a vintage and-1 layup to send this game to overtime, but missed his final shot of the night with 4.1 seconds to go. "I will say this always. I'll go to my grave - and I will go to my grave - with Dwyane Wade shooting with the game on the line," coach Erik Spoelstra said after the game. His move back to Miami has rejuvenated him and he already has three games with 20+ points in 10 games for the Heat compared to just three such games in 46 appearances for the Cavs.
Joel Embiid scores 18 in win over Hornets 03-06-2018
Joel Embiid C PHI
Joel Embiid hit 8-of-16 shots, missed all three of his 3-pointers, and was 2-of-2 from the line for 18 points, five rebounds, four assists and a block in Tuesday's 128-114 win over the Hornets. Embiid dominated Dwight Howard on Friday with 23 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, three steals and a 3-pointer, but Howard turned the tables on him tonight, going off for 30 points, six boards, a steal, three blocks and a 3-pointer. Embiid has played in 10 straight games and the Sixers don't have a back-to-back set until March 15-16. It's possible he finishes out the season for the Sixers, but it would make sense for them to take it easy on him, as the No. 6 Sixers appear to be locked into the playoffs. Starters Dario Saric, Robert Covington, Ben Simmons and J.J. Redick all joined Embiid in double figures in the win.
Justin Anderson plays two minutes vs. CHA 03-06-2018
Justin Anderson G PHI
Justin Anderson played two minutes on Tuesday and missed his only shot, failing to score. He's been bothered by an ankle injury but got back to it tonight. He has no fantasy value, even when healthy.
Ersan Ilyasova scores 11 off Sixers bench 03-06-2018
Ersan Ilyasova F PHI
Ersan Ilyasova hit 4-of-7 shots and two 3-pointers for 11 points, six boards and a block in 24 minutes off the Sixers bench on Tuesday. He scored 18 points on Friday and is averaging 12 points, 4.3 boards and 1.7 3-pointers over his last three games for his new team, and might be worth a deep-league look if you need threes and boards. He's getting 21 minutes per game for the Sixers so far, and he's only worth consideration in deeper leagues.
Goran Dragic scores 16 points vs. Wizards 03-06-2018
Goran Dragic G MIA
Goran Dragic scored 16 points vs. the Wizards on Tuesday, hitting 6-of-15 shots and all three of his free throws. The Heat played a lot of small ball tonight and Josh Richardson, Tyler Johnson, Dwyane Wade and Justise Winslow were all able to post solid fantasy lines. Dragic played 36 minutes in the overtime loss with seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and one triple, and he's been very consistent as a facilitator with at least five assists in seven straight games.
Ben Simmons hits 8-of-9, just misses trip-dub 03-06-2018
Ben Simmons G PHI
Ben Simmons hit 8-of-9 shots for 16 points, eight rebounds and 13 assists in Tuesday's 128-114 win over the Hornets. He didn't have a steal or block, and didn't attempt a 3-pointer or free throw, but dominated Kemba Walker tonight, who hit just 1-of-9 shots for a season-low five points. Maybe Simmons heard the footsteps of Donovan Mitchell in the Rookie of the Year race and stepped up his game tonight. Then again, this is essentially what he's been doing all season, and it's hard to see him not winning the ROY.
Tyler Johnson starts 2nd half, scores 21 pts 03-06-2018
Tyler Johnson G MIA
Tyler Johnson started the second half of Tuesday's loss to the Wizards, finishing with 21 points (8-of-15 FGs, 3-of-7 FTs), four assists, three rebounds, three steals, one block and two triples. Coach Erik Spoelstra's rotations are all over the place and Johnson played just 18 minutes on Monday, but his workload should be in the high 20s most nights. While not the most consistent player, Johnson usually gets the job done for fantasy owners even as a reserve and is flirting with top-100 value in 9-category leagues on the season. He'll stay in that range unless Goran Dragic or Josh Richardson ever needs to miss time.
Robert Covington finally heats up for Philly 03-06-2018
Robert Covington F PHI
Robert Covington hit 7-of-11 shots and five 3-pointers for 22 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks, and also hit 3-of-3 free throws in Tuesday's 128-114 win over the Hornets. RoCo had 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting on Friday, and is finally shooting it better, hitting 19-of-39 (49%) shots over his last four games. It's worth a look to see if he was dropped in your league, as his poor shooting had fantasy owners in despair in many cases. He's hot, averaging 14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.3 blocks and 3.0 3-pointers over those four games. He will likely go into another slump any day now, but he's playing much better than he did in January and February right now.
Luke Babbitt plays six minutes 03-06-2018
Luke Babbitt F MIA
Luke Babbitt played just six minutes vs. the Wizards with one 3-pointer and nothing else. He was benched at halftime and never came back in. There's a good chance he falls completely out of the rotation when Wayne Ellington (thigh) gets back because his floor spacing won't be needed.
Justise Winslow scores 15 points w/ 6 boards 03-06-2018
Justise Winslow F MIA
Justise Winslow played a team-high 38 minutes vs. the Wizards in a 117-113 overtime loss on Tuesday, scoring 15 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs) with six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one triple.

Miami Herald
He was on fire coming into tonight's game, averaging 12.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.4 triples over his last five while shooting 53.5% from the field and 7-of-12 from beyond the arc. "Just finally catching a rhythm, finding my spots in the flow of the offense and staying aggressive," Winslow said of his strong play. His minutes and production are both trending in the right direction and he's too hot to leave on the wire, but he won't be able to sustain these shooting percentages.
Marvin Williams returns for 11 points 03-06-2018
Marvin Williams F CHA
Marvin Williams played through his migraine on Tuesday and hit 4-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers for 11 points, five rebounds and a steal in 24 minutes of a 128-114 loss to the Sixers. He was iffy coming in, but was able to go. He also looked better than he has recently, as he scored a grand total of just eight points over his previous three games. He's not really worth owning and now that the Hornets have fallen 7.0 games out of the final playoff spot in the East, they could easily turn to Frank Kaminsky down the stretch.
Kemba Walker hits 1-of-9 for 5 points 03-06-2018
Kemba Walker G CHA
Kemba Walker played 35 minutes on Tuesday, but hit just 1-of-9 shots and missed all five of his 3-pointers for a season-low five points, three rebounds, seven assists and a block in a loss to the Sixers. He had two nine-point games earlier in the season, but had scored in double figures in 36 straight before tonight's super-dud. Walker also missed 3-of-6 free throws and it was tough to see this one coming, as he had scored at least 23 in his previous four games. His shot just wasn't falling and the size of Ben Simmons, who just missed a triple-double for the Sixers, might have been too much for Walker tonight. He'll try to right the ship on Thursday against the Nets.
Dwight Howard drops 30, gets a technical 03-06-2018
Dwight Howard C CHA
Dwight Howard went off for 30 points, six rebounds, a steal and three blocks on 12-of-17 shooting, and even hit 5-of-7 free throws and a 3-pointer in a loss to the Sixers on Tuesday. Dwight was trying to show off for Joel Embiid and easily outdueled the young, big man. But he also picked up his 14th technical foul of the season tonight, putting him just two away from an automatic one-game suspension, assuming tonight's isn't rescinded. Howard's having a fantastic season for the Hornets and tonight's game was nearly flawless. He'll try to teach Jarrett Allen a few things on Thursday when the Hornets play the Nets.
Otto Porter (bruised hip) is day-to-day 03-06-2018
Otto Porter Jr. F WAS
Otto Porter has been diagnosed with a bruised right hip and is considered day-to-day.

Ben Standig on Twitter
He took a shot to the hip in the fourth quarter, went back to the locker and wasn't able to return in the overtime win vs. Miami on Tuesday. Any time we see Porter suffer a hip injury it's concerning because of his history with them, but hopefully he dodged a bullet here. For now, we'll consider him questionable for Friday's game vs. the Pelicans, but at least he gets a few days off. Kelly Oubre and Markieff Morris will pick up the slack if Porter can't go. Porter finished with 12 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and two triples.
James Johnson quiet in 14 minutes 03-06-2018
James Johnson F MIA
James Johnson started, but played just 14 minutes for six points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in Tuesday's OT loss to the Wizards. JJ has now scored between zero and six points in four of his last five games, has seen his minutes drop and has fallen by the wayside in favor of Kelly Olynyk. If you've been wanting to cut him but have been holding on, it's probably time to let go.
Jakob Poeltl fills stat sheet off bench 03-06-2018
Jakob Poeltl C TOR
Jakob Poeltl hit 3-of-8 shots for six points, nine rebounds, one assist, two steals and three blocks in 21 minutes off the Raptors bench on Tuesday. Poeltl's never going to be a big scorer, but he's averaging 6.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 2.4 blocks over his last five, so he's worth a look if you're desperate for steals and blocks from a big man.
C.J. Miles scores 14 with seven boards 03-06-2018
CJ Miles F TOR
C.J. Miles hit 5-of-11 shots and four 3-pointers for 14 points, seven rebounds and an assist in 27 minutes of Tuesday's easy win over the Hawks. Despite getting limited minutes on most nights, Miles is hot again, scoring in double figures in three straight games and knocking down 12 3-pointers in them. He's usually good for some steals and threes, but is an inconsistent producer due to his bench role and low minutes. He's hot right now, but it could end before you even get him off the waiver wire, which is probably where he still belongs.
Kyle Lowry goes AWOL in win over Hawks 03-06-2018
Kyle Lowry G TOR
Kyle Lowry picked up four fouls, hit just 2-of-6 shots, missed all four of his 3-pointers, and finished with just four points and seven assists in Tuesday's easy win over the Hawks. Lowry essentially took the night off without actually taking the night off. DeMar DeRozan and Jonas Valanciunas did the heavy lifting for the Raptors, who blew the game open by winning the fourth quarter 30-13. While Lowry hasn't been scoring a ton of points lately, he has been putting up very effective numbers, and the Raps knew it wouldn't take much to beat the Hawks at home tonight. Lowry left the court with about a minute left in tonight's game, but there are no reports of an injury. Look for him to bring his A Game Wednesday against the Pistons.
Kent Bazemore scores 14 in return to action 03-06-2018
Kent Bazemore G ATL
Kent Bazemore returned from a one-game absence for rest and hit 6-of-8 shots and two 3-pointers for 14 points, five assists and two steals in 28 minutes. That's a pretty efficient night, but with the Hawks in full tanking mode, it's going to be hard to rely upon Bazemore every night. If you own him, watch the news and make sure he's playing when you need him. Then again, as the NBA's silly season is almost officially underway, we can say the same thing about a ton of NBA players right now.
Dennis Schroder quiet in loss to Raptors 03-06-2018
Dennis Schroder G ATL
Dennis Schroder hit just 4-of-13 shots and two 3-pointers for 11 points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal in 28 minutes of Tuesday's blowout loss to Toronto. Schroder had been playing well, but never got it going in this one. As long as he's starting for the Hawks, he should be in your fantasy team's starting lineup. He'll try to bounce back on Friday at Indy.
Dewayne Dedmon double-doubles 03-06-2018
Dewayne Dedmon C ATL
Dewayne Dedmon hit 4-of-6 shots and 4-of-4 free throws for 12 points, 10 rebounds, a steal and three blocks during Tuesday's 106-90 loss to the Raps. That was a great line from Dedmon, but he's been completely hit-or-miss for the Hawks lately. He's tough to trust and this was his first double-double since Feb. 13, but he is posting serviceable numbers, averaging 9.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.8 blocks over his last five.
Prince, Collins quiet for Hawks in loss 03-06-2018
Taurean Prince F ATL
Taurean Prince hit 3-of-6 shots and two 3-pointers for nine points, eight rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks in 29 minutes of Tuesday's 106-90 loss to the Raptors. John Collins also played 29 minutes, but wasn't much better, hitting 6-of-12 shots for three rebounds, three assists and a steal. Both of these guys are equal parts frustration and potential, and still haven't fully broken loose for the Hawks. But the tank is on, these guys are locked into big minutes the rest of the way, and they can only get better from here.
David West will rest on Tuesday vs. Nets 03-06-2018
David West F GS
David West has a cyst on his right arm and will not play on Tuesday vs. the Nets.

Warriors PR
In other words, the Warriors are resting the veteran forward. Jordan Bell and Kevon Looney are the candidates to pick up a few extra minutes.
Jordan Bell (back) will play Tuesday 03-06-2018
Jordan Bell F GS
Jordan Bell (back) will play on Tuesday vs. the Nets.

Warriors PR
Coach Steve Kerr has talked about using him at both the four and five, so maybe he picks up some run with David West (arm) sitting out. Bell isn't worth owning in standard leagues unless he can carve out a 20-minute role.
Delon Wright sprains his toe, won't return 03-06-2018
Delon Wright G TOR
Delon Wright suffered a sprained toe on Tuesday vs. the Hawks and will not return.

Raptors MR
He checked out with 4:14 left in the fourth quarter, but the game was well over by that point. Wright finished with 10 points, three rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals in 18 minutes. This was his first productive game in a while and Fred VanVleet's strong play is the reason he hasn't been playing much.
Emeka Okafor (right ankle) is available 03-06-2018
Emeka Okafor C NO
Emeka Okafor (right ankle) is available on Tuesday vs. the Clippers.

Tomer Azarly on Twitter
He's only averaging 14.9 minutes per game this season, so his return means Nikola Mirotic and Cheick Diallo will lose a few minutes. Okafor isn't a fantasy option outside of the deepest of leagues.
Jawun Evans could practice on Thursday 03-06-2018
Jawun Evans G LAC
Jawun Evans (abdomen) could return to practice on Thursday.

Tomer Azarly on Twitter
He hasn't played since Jan. 20 and there was even some talk about Evans needing offseason surgery. He's unlikely to play much unless the Clippers fall out of the playoff race.
Otto Porter (hip) goes to locker room 03-06-2018
Otto Porter Jr. F WAS
Otto Porter (hip) took a shot to his right hip and went back to the locker room. He went down in obvious pain, but he briefly carried on before heading back to the locker room during a timeout. Porter has a long history with hip injuries, so hopefully it's nothing serious. He checked out in the fourth quarter, so we should have an update soon.
Skal Labissiere (knee) questionable Wednesday 03-06-2018
Skal Labissiere F SAC
Skal Labissiere is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Pelicans with a sore right knee.

James Ham on Twitter
He's had a tough time staying healthy this season but at least it's not his troublesome shoulder. Labissiere is starting to play really well and is averaging 12.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.3 blocks over his last three games, so fantasy owners should hold him for now unless you're in a tight spot. With Willie Cauley-Stein already ruled out, expect to see a lot of Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos if Skal can't go.
Cauley-Stein (back) ruled out for Wednesday 03-06-2018
Willie Cauley-Stein C SAC
Willie Cauley-Stein (back) will not play on Wednesday vs. the Pelicans.

James Ham on Twitter
He's still not practicing so it's not surprising that he will miss his third straight game. Skal Labissiere (knee) is questionable, meaning we could see a heavy dose of Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos. Nobody should have to pay to see that.
Michael Beasley will come off the bench 03-06-2018
Michael Beasley F NY
Michael Beasley will come off the bench on Tuesday vs. the Blazers. The writing has been on the wall for a while as Beasley hasn't been the same player since the All-Star break. Maybe the demotion will motivate him, but for now Beasley is a drop candidate.
Lance Thomas starting, Beasley to bench 03-06-2018
Lance Thomas F NY
Lance Thomas will replace Michael Beasley in the starting lineup on Tuesday vs. the Blazers.

Al Iannazzone on Twitter
You'd be hard-pressed to name an player with less upside than Thomas. He's just in there for his defense and energy and has very little fantasy appeal.
Frank Ntilikina will start at SG vs. Blazers 03-06-2018
Frank Ntilikina G NY
Frank Ntilikina will start at shooting guard vs. the Blazers on Tuesday.

Al Iannazzone on Twitter
The rookie will make his first career start with Courtney Lee out for personal reasons. The Knicks are grooming Ntilikina as a shooting guard and it wouldn't be surprising if he held onto the starting job with a nice game tonight. Most fantasy owners should use a wait-and-see approach here because Ntilikina's offense is still coming along. He should be a good source of dimes and steals, though.
Woj: Blazers to sign Georgios Papagiannis 03-06-2018
Georgios Papagiannis C POR
Georgios Papagiannis will sign a 10-day deal with the Blazers.

Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter
The Kings waived him back in February at the deadline, but the Blazers will give the second-year center a closer look. The Blazers have a logjam up front, so it's hard to see Papagiannis getting more than a handful of minutes.
Moe Harkless (left knee ) will not play Tues 03-06-2018
Maurice Harkless F POR
Moe Harkless (left knee strain) will not play Tuesday vs. the Knicks.

Jay Allen on Twitter
This is the third straight game Harkless has missed due to the knee injury. Harkless has limited fantasy upside even when fully healthy. He can be left on waivers. Evan Turner and Shabazz Napier will continue to soak up extra minutes with Harkless sidelined.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist ejected w/ 2 techs 03-06-2018
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist F CHA
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was ejected from Tuesday's game vs. the 76ers with two technical fouls. He was ejected in the second quarter after arguing with the officials, finishing with five points, two rebounds and one assist in 14 minutes. Look for Jeremy Lamb and Treveon Graham to pick up a few extra minutes in the second half.
Derrick Favors (neck spasms) is questionable 03-06-2018
Derrick Favors F UTH
Derrick Favors (neck spasms) is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Pacers.

Jazz on Twitter
This comes from the official injury report, but there's no word on whether or not he practiced on Tuesday. That means we won't know more until the morning shootaround. Jonas Jerebko started in his place on Monday with 12 points, four rebounds, one steal and three triples, while Ekpe Udoh entered the rotation and played 11 minutes with five rebounds and three blocks.
Ryan Anderson (hip) doubtful for Wednesday 03-06-2018
Ryan Anderson F HOU
Ryan Anderson (hip) said he plans to give his hip a "more extensive test" Wednesday in Milwaukee. It is doubtful that he will play Wednesday vs. the Bucks, but he's "hopeful" he'll return Friday vs. Toronto.

Paul Millsap to see about 28 minutes 03-06-2018
Paul Millsap F DEN
Paul Millsap's restrictions have been lifted to 28 minutes.

Chris Dempsey on Twitter
Nuggets coach Michael Malone is keeping his word about Millsap's minutes increasing "quickly." At this rate, he should be over 30 minutes by the end of the week. Millsap has early-round upside the rest of the way.
Justin Holiday to re-enter the rotation 03-06-2018
Justin Holiday G CHI
Justin Holiday will be a part of the rotation to close out the season.

Shams Charania on Twitter
The NBA reportedly issued a warning to the Bulls this week regarding resting healthy players, so Robin Lopez and Holiday will be more involved in the rotation moving forward. It's unlikely that Holiday will be earning enough minutes to matter, though, so he can remain on the waiver wire in most leagues.
Lopez and Holiday to re-enter Bulls rotation 03-06-2018
Robin Lopez C CHI
According to Shams Charania of Yahoo, the NBA issued a warning to the Bulls on resting healthy players and the team now plans to play Robin Lopez and Justin Holiday more extensively to close the season.

Shams Charania on Twitter
Lopez started each of the Bulls first 57 games this season, but has not played a single minute since the All-Star break. That will change after commissioner Adam Silver put his foot down in attempt to prevent teams from blatantly tanking. While Lopez will obviously see in his playing time increase, he likely won't see anywhere close to the 27.7 minutes he was averaging over the first half of the season. Thus, he can be left on waivers in most standard-sized leagues for now. He may be worth a look in deeper leagues. Rolo's return will cut into the playing time of Cristiano Felicio and Bobby Portis.
Patrick Patterson will come off the bench 03-06-2018
Patrick Patterson F OKC
Patrick Patterson will return to the bench for Tuesday's game against the Rockets.

Brett Dawson on Twitter
Carmelo Anthony is back from his rest day, so Patterson might only see minutes in the teens tonight. He's not a great option in most leagues while Melo is active.
Carmelo Anthony will play Tuesday vs. Houston 03-06-2018
Carmelo Anthony F OKC
Carmelo Anthony (rest) will play Tuesday vs. the Rockets.

Brett Dawson on Twitter
Anthony spent the second game of a back-to-back set on the sidelines on Saturday, but he'll be back out there with his regular workload tonight, which will bump Patrick Patterson back to the second unit and Jerami Grant won't play quite as much.
Marvin Williams (headache) listed as starter 03-06-2018
Marvin Williams F CHA
Marvin Williams (migraine headache) is listed as a starting Tuesday vs. the Sixers.

Rick Bonnell on Twitter
Coach Steve Clifford said that Williams will "attempt to play" Tuesday night. However, he questioned whether Williams would be able to play his normal allotment of minutes after spending the day dealing with a migraine. Frank Kaminsky may end up playing the lion's share of minutes at power forward on Tuesday.
Kent Bazemore starting, Dorsey to the bench 03-06-2018
Kent Bazemore G ATL
Kent Bazemore (rest) will return to the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Toronto, sending Tyler Dorsey back to the bench.

Raptors MR on Twitter
Bazemore took a non-back-to-back set related rest day on Sunday, but there was never any doubt about his status for tonight's game. Dorsey will see his minutes reduced to the 20s while operating in a reserve role, so it'll be tough to trust him in most leagues.
Courtney Lee (personal) will not play Tuesday 03-06-2018
Courtney Lee G NY
Courtney Lee (personal reasons) will not be with the team for Tuesday's game vs. the Blazers.

Knicks PR on Twitter
Lee has seen his playing time, and thus his production, dip dramatically since the Knicks returned from the All-Star break. Over New York's last five games, Lee is averaging just 7.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per contest. Depending on whether the Knicks decide to go big or small vs. the Blazers, Frank Ntilikina or Troy Williams could see an uptick in minutes on Tuesday. It's also possible that Damyean Dotson gets back in the rotation.
Ben McLemore (personal) not on injury report 03-06-2018
Ben McLemore G MEM
Ben McLemore (personal) is not being listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.

Grizzlies PR on Twitter
McLemore was a late scratch on Monday due to a personal issue, but it sounds like he'll be back out there on Wednesday, and he could be very busy on offense with Mario Chalmers (hamstring), Andrew Harrison (wrist) and Tyreke Evans (ribs) unavailable.
Tyreke Evans (ribs) ruled out for Wednesday 03-06-2018
Tyreke Evans G MEM
Tyreke Evans (ribs) will not play Wednesday vs. the Bulls.

Grizzlies PR on Twitter
The Grizzlies continue to rule out Evans a full day in advance, which suggests he's not all that close. There's just zero incentive to rush Evans along in the recovery process with Memphis playing for Ping-Pong balls, so it's quite possible that he won't be available when the fantasy playoffs begin. If you're fighting for a post-season spot and don't have an open IR-spot, cutting Evans is an option.
Jarell Martin (knee) questionable Wednesday 03-06-2018
Jarell Martin F MEM
Jarell Martin (knee) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Chicago.

Grizzlies PR on Twitter
Martin was listed as probable for Monday's contest vs. the Spurs, but did not play. JaMychal Green logged 34 minutes as the Grizzlies starting PF on Monday and is one of the few Memphis players that can be trusted at this point. Ivan Rabb will again backup Green if Martin is unavailable.
Justin Anderson (ankle) available to play 03-06-2018

Justin Anderson (ankle) will be available to play Tuesday vs. the Hornets.

Keith Pompey on Twitter
There are no guarantees he'll actually get out there, but it looks like he's finally recovered from the ankle injury.
Wayne Ellington (thigh) out Tuesday vs. WAS 03-06-2018
Wayne Ellington G MIA
Wayne Ellington (thigh) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Wizards.

Zach Rosen on Twitter
This will be Ellington's fourth straight game on the sidelines, and considering he's still not been able to go through practices or shootarounds, he doesn't appear to be close. Justise Winslow, Rodney McGruder and Tyler Johnson will all be in line for more minutes with Ellington unavailable.
Kelly Oubre (foot) will play Tuesday vs. MIA 03-06-2018
Kelly Oubre Jr. F WAS
Kelly Oubre (foot) will play Tuesday night vs. the Heat.

Ben Standig on Twitter
Oubre did not play Sunday and coach Scott Brooks told reporters that Oubre's foot had been bothering him for several days. Fortunately, the MRI came back clean. This is a situation to keep an eye on moving forward. We'll see how he moves and how many minutes he plays vs. Miami Tuesday night.
John Wall (knee) gets up some shots Tuesday 03-06-2018
John Wall G WAS
John Wall (knee) did some light shooting on Tuesday.

Zach Rosen on Twitter
Scott Brooks said that Wall "moved around pretty good" in his first time getting back on the court since going under the knife in January, so this was a small step in the right direction. If all goes well, Wall's earliest possible return date would be on March 13 for a home game against the Timberwolves. He's worth stashing if you've got an open IR-spot.
Marvin Williams (headache) will try to play 03-06-2018
Marvin Williams F CHA
Coach Steve Clifford said that Marvin Williams (migraine headache) will "attempt to play" Tuesday night vs. the Sixers.

Hornets PR on Twitter
Williams was unable to participate in shootaround and was listed as questionable heading into this contest. Williams has been struggling of late, averaging just 2.7 points over Charlotte's last three games. Frank Kaminsky could see an uptick in minutes if Williams has his evening cut short due to the migraine. This is a situation to avoid from a fantasy perspective.
Rashad Vaughn (knee) out Wednesday 03-06-2018
Rashad Vaughn G ORL
Rashad Vaughn (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.

Josh Robbins on Twitters
Vaughn wasn't a major part of the rotation prior to going down, so his absence will have a negligible impact in fantasy hoops.
Malcolm Miller to start at SF again Tuesday 03-06-2018
Malcolm Miller F BOS
Malcolm Miller will again start at small forward Tuesday night vs. the Hawks.

Blake Murphy on Twitter
Miller, a rookie out of Holy Cross, drew his first career start on Sunday but failed to score a point in 14 minutes. Coach Dwane Casey has said that OG Anunoby (knee) will be reinserted back into the starting lineup once he is healthy. Miller should be left on waivers.
Willie Cauley-Stein (back) doesn't practice 03-06-2018
Willie Cauley-Stein C SAC
Willie Cauley-Stein (back) did not participate in Tuesday's practice.

James Ham on Twitter
He remains "day-to-day," but with WCS still not practicing in full, it seems unlikely that he'll be able to get out there for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans. If he is forced to spend his third straight game on the sidelines, that'll translate to more minutes for Kosta Koufos, Zach Randolph and Skal Labissiere.
Rudy Gay (ear) not expected to miss games 03-06-2018
Rudy Gay F SA
Rudy Gay (ear) is being listed as day-to-day, but he's not expected to miss any games.

My San Antonio
Gay blew out his left eardrum during the first half of Monday's win over the Grizzlies, but he played through it, and that's a trend we'd expect to continue. The Spurs won't officially update their injury report until Wednesday, but all signs are pointing towards Gay giving it a go on Thursday in Oakland.
Channing Frye cleared for non-contact work 03-06-2018
Channing Frye F LAL
Channing Frye (appendectomy) has been cleared for on-court, non-contact work.

Mike Bresnahan on Twitter
Frye will be evaluated again at the end of the week, but he's not exactly close to a return, and there are no guarantees that he'll have a meaningful role in the rotation even when he's fully up to speed. Leave him on the wire.
Markelle Fultz (shoulder) still not close 03-06-2018
Markelle Fultz G PHI
Markelle Fultz (right shoulder rehabilitation) is still not close to a return.

Jon Johnson on Twitter
According to 76ers' Insider, Jon Johnson, "there is no plan for Fultz to return in the immediate future/next few games." It wouldn't be surprising at all to see Fultz sit out the remainder of his rookie season, so he can safely remain on the waiver wire in all re-draft formats.
Luke Kennard (illness) doesn't practice Tues 03-06-2018
Luke Kennard G DET
Luke Kennard sat out Tuesday's practice with a minor stomach issue.

Keith Langlois on Twitter
It would be surprising to see Kennard forced to the sidelines with what sounds like a stomach ache, but we should get another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround. Stanley Johnson (back) might not play on Wednesday, which would allow Kennard to have a more active role in the rotation.
Stanley Johnson (back) skips practice Tuesday 03-06-2018
Stanley Johnson F DET
Stanley Johnson (back) did not practice on Tuesday.

Keith Langlois on Twitter
Johnson's back tightened up on him during Monday's game, and for now, we'll be considering him questionable for Wednesday's matchup with the Raptors. If Johnson is forced to the sidelines tomorrow, Reggie Bullock will get all the minutes he can handle and Luke Kennard will have a more meaningful role in the rotation. Expect another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround.
Tyler Johnson (thigh) not on injury report 03-06-2018
Tyler Johnson G MIA
Tyler Johnson (thigh) is not listed on the injury report for Tuesday's game vs. the Wizards.

Ira Winderman on Twitter
Johnson had missed two consecutive games last week but returned to action in Monday's win over the Suns. He finished with five points, two rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer. With Dwyane Wade now in the mix and Justise Winslow playing well, Johnson's fantasy value has been hampered.
Wayne Ellington (thigh) questionable Tuesday 03-06-2018
Wayne Ellington G MIA
Wayne Ellington (thigh) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Wizards.

Andre Fernandez on Twitter
Ellington has missed three straight games due to a quad contusion. We should have an update on his status prior to Tuesday's game, when Coach Spo addresses reporters. Justise Winslow and Rodney McGruder have seen a significant uptick in minutes with Ellington sidelined. Winslow tallied 12 points, 12 boards, five assists and four steals in 31 minutes in Monday's win over the Suns.
Wesley Matthews (hip) will not play Tuesday 03-06-2018
Wesley Matthews G DAL
Coach Rick Carlisle said that Wesley Matthews (left hip) will not play Tuesday vs. the Nuggets.

Brad Townsend on Twitter
This will be the second straight game on the sidelines for Matthews, who had missed just one of the Mavs first 60 contests this season. It is not surprising that Dallas is playing it safe with Matthews, as they are in Tank Mode and have no reason to rush him back. Doug McDermott was the primary beneficiary of Matthews' absence in Sunday's game. Dougie McBuckets scored 10 points and logged a team-high 34 minutes off the bench.

MCW sprained his shoulder in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Sixers. He played the second half with a brace. However, he has already been ruled out Tuesday's game vs. Philly. Coach Steve Clifford said that the Hornets would determine a timetable for his return after a decision is made on whether or not to have surgery or address the injury through rehab. Coach Cliff said that Malik Monk would see additional minutes on Tuesday. MCW belongs on waivers.

Knicks will stick with Emmanuel Mudiay at PG 03-06-2018
Emmanuel Mudiay G NY
Coach Jeff Hornacek said that he will continue to start Emmanuel Mudiay at point guard.

New York Post
Mudiay, who was 0-of-6 from the floor in Sunday's loss to the Kings, has been inefficient since arriving in New York. In his five starts for the Knicks, Mudiay is averaging 10.0 points and 5.4 assists, and is shooting just 34.6 percent from the floor, 21.4 percent from downtown and 61.1 percent from the free throw stripe. Hornacek did say that he would continue to find plenty of minutes for Trey Burke and Frank Ntilikina.
Kaminsky will start if Williams is ruled out 03-06-2018
Frank Kaminsky F CHA
Frank Kaminsky will start Tuesday vs. the Sixers if Marvin Williams (migraine headache) is unable to play.

Rick Bonnell on Twitter
Williams was unable to participate in shootaround Tuesday morning and is questionable for the matchup vs. Philadelphia. Kaminsky has been surprisingly unproductive in his previous starts this season. He has started four games and is averaging 9.8 points (on 39.4 percent shooting) 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 25.8 minutes over those contests. Treveon Graham will back up Kaminsky if Williams is sidelined.
Malik Monk to see extra minutes Tuesday 03-06-2018
Malik Monk G CHA
Coach Steve Clifford said that with Michael Carter-Williams (left shoulder sprain) sidelined, Malik Monk would see extra minutes Tuesday vs. the Sixers.

Hornets PR on Twitter
Monk has struggled through an awful rookie season and has been a DNP-CD in each of the Hornets previous two contests. On the year, Monk (who was selected two picks ahead of Donovan Micthell in the 2017 draft) is averaging 4.5 points and 1.1 assists in 11.4 minutes per contest, while shooting just 32.3 percent from the floor. The Hornets will likely look to get Monk extended playing time over the final five weeks of the season, but he should still be left on waivers in standard fantasy leagues.
Dwayne Bacon (illness) not on injury report 03-06-2018
Dwayne Bacon F CHA
Dwayne Bacon (illness) is not listed on the Hornets injury report for Tuesday's game vs. Philadelphia.

Marvin Williams (migraine headache) did not go through shootaround and is questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Sixers.

Hornets PR on Twitter
Williams has been struggling mightily of late. Over the Hornets last three games, he is averaging just 2.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 assist, while shooting 16.7 percent from the floor (3-of-18). If Williams is unable to play, Frank Kaminsky would likely slide into Charlotte's starting lineup and would be worth considering as a DFS punt.

Larry Nance Jr. F CLE
Coach Tyronn Lue suggested that he plans to keep Larry Nance in the Cavs starting lineup for at least as long as Tristan Thompson (ankle) is out.

Cleveland.com
Coach Lue made his comments before Nance exploded for a career-high 22 points, 15 rebounds and two steals in the Cavs victory over the Pistons on Monday night. Thompson is expected to miss the next two weeks, which will give Nance plenty of opportunities to rack up stats. He's an enticing add if you have roster space.
OG Anunoby (ankle) will remain as starting SF 03-06-2018
OG Anunoby F TOR
Coach Dwane Casey said that OG Anunoby (ankle) will remain the team's starting small forward when he returns to the lineup.

OG has already been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup vs. the Hawks, which will be his third straight game on the sideline. However, Casey said that OG likely wouldn't be out much longer. Casey also told reporters that Anunoby will hold onto the job when he returns. "There's no battle for positions. We're just evaluating," he said. "There's no quarterback [controversy]. Damian Lillard scores 39 with 19 in fourth 03-06-2018
Damian Lillard G POR
Damian Lillard hit 12-of-25 shots, 6-of-11 3-pointers and 9-of-12 free throws for 39 points, five rebounds and six assists, racking up 19 of his points in the fourth quarter to hold off the streaking Lakers. Lillard was a freak tonight and several of his threes came from way beyond the arc, or with tough defense in his face. He basically single-handedly got his team the win and the Blazers have now won all six games since the All-Star break. The Blazers have a one-game lead on the Pelicans, Spurs and Timberwolves for the No. 3 seed in the West and are going to try to win every night out in hopes of grabbing home-court advantage in at least the first round of the playoffs. And Lillard is on fire, averaging 32 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.8 3-pointers over his last five. He's having an MVP-type season, but won't have much of a shot at winning it given what James Harden and LeBron James have done.
C.J. McCollum scores 22 points in tough win 03-06-2018
CJ McCollum G POR
C.J. McCollum hit 6-of-15 shots and two 3-pointers for 22 points, five rebounds, five assists and a steal in 38 minutes of Monday's 108-103 win over the Lakers. CJM uncharacteristically missed 5-of-13 free throws, including two straight with a 106-103 lead that would have sealed the game for the Blazers with seven seconds left. McCollum and Damian Lillard (especially Lillard) got hot in the fourth quarter and scored most of the Blazers' points, as they were able to grab their sixth straight win since the All-Star break.
Jusuf Nurkic double-doubles in win 03-06-2018
Jusuf Nurkic C POR
Jusuf Nurkic hit 6-of-13 shots for 16 points, 16 rebounds, three assists and a block in 29 minutes of Monday's 108-103 win over the Lakers. Nurk Alert is averaging 14.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 1.0 blocks on 52 percent shooting over his last five games, all Blazers wins. In fact, they're one of the NBA's hottest teams, winning six straight since the All-Star break and clinging to the No. 3 seed in the West. As long as Nurkic is healthy and the Blazers are fighting for playoff position, he should be ready to finish up very strong in Portland.
Isaiah Thomas scores 19 in loss to Blazers 03-06-2018
Isaiah Thomas G LAL
Isaiah Thomas hit just 5-of-21 shots, 1-of-9 3-pointers and 8-of-9 free throws for 19 points and seven assists in 30 minutes of Monday's loss to the Blazers. His lone missed free throw was massive, as he had a chance to cut the Blazers' lead to one point and get the ball back with seven seconds remaining. However, he missed the free throw, and then had his 3-pointer blocked by Shabazz Napier to seal the win for the Blazers. The good news is that Thomas has been rolling over his last three games, averaging 23 points, 6.7 assists and 2.7 3-pointers. But he doesn't have a steal in his last five games and has struggled with his shot, hitting just 11-of-37 over his last two. But as long as the Lakers keep trying to win games, Thomas should continue to put up solid numbers for the Lakers, although some steals would be nice.
KCP drops 16 & 9 with three 3-pointers 03-06-2018
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope G LAL
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope hit 6-of-14 shots and three 3-pointers for 16 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals in Monday's loss to the Blazers. He played 41 minutes and has been very consistent (and good) since the All-Star break, averaging 19.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 3.6 3-pointers on 52 percent shooting in his last five games. The Lakers are trying to win every night out and KCP is a huge part of what they're doing. He should be owned everywhere, obviously.
Lonzo Ball hits three treys in loss to Blazer 03-06-2018
Lonzo Ball G LAL
Lonzo Ball hit 3-of-9 shots (all 3-pointers) for 10 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 33 minutes of Monday's 108-103 loss to the Blazers. He wasn't great tonight, but a couple of the 3-pointers were big, especially the one he hit to tie the game at 103. Unfortunately for the Lakers, those were the last points they'd score in this one. The Lakers lost their first home games since Jan. 5 and lost their first game since the All-Star break, but all this winning is doing is probably going to keep them out of both the lottery and the playoffs. But the home fans have to be happy with all the wins they've got to witness over the last two months. Ball's been playing well and should bounce back on Wednesday against the Magic.
Brook Lopez playing better for Lakers 03-06-2018
Brook Lopez C LAL
Brook Lopez had 14 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer in 26 minutes of Monday's loss to the Blazers. Bro-Lo is averaging 12 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.8 steals, 1.8 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers over his last five games and the Lakers have won four of those. If you're sitting on John Henson and want to drop him for Lopez, the move probably makes sense.
Kyle Kuzma scores 11 in another start 03-06-2018
Kyle Kuzma F LAL
Kyle Kuzma started again for Brandon Ingram and hit 4-of-10 shots and two 3-pointers for 11 points, eight rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks in 38 minutes of Monday's tough loss to the Blazers. Ingram's going to miss at least a week with a groin injury and Kuzma should continue to start, making him look like a short-term, must-add player right now. The Lakers hadn't lost at home since Jan. 5 and were 5-0 since the All-Star break. Both of those streaks came to an end tonight, but it was a great game to watch.

Tony Parker scored a season-high 23 points in Monday's 100-98 win over the Grizzlies. He checked into the fourth quarter with 6:05 left and buried four shots for a quick eight points to give the Spurs a spark. Parker turned back the clock tonight and hit 10-of-14 shots with four assists and a steal, but there's a good chance that this will end up being his best game of the season. Dejounte Murray is the starting point guard and that isn't going to change. Leave Parker on the wire.
Rudy Gay blows out eardrum Monday 03-06-2018
Rudy Gay F SA
Rudy Gay blew out his left eardrum in the first half of Monday's game vs. the Grizzlies, finishing with seven points, four rebounds and one steal in 14 minutes. He went back to the locker room followed by team trainers, but quickly returned to the bench and played in the second half. Given the circumstances, the Spurs obviously didn't go to him much in the second half which explains the low minutes. He will get checked out on Tuesday and we'll put him on the injury report to be safe. The Spurs could really use him on Thursday vs. Golden State with Pau Gasol (shoulder) considered doubtful.
Jae Crowder disappears on Monday 03-06-2018
Jae Crowder F UTH
Jae Crowder hit just 1-of-9 shots for four points and one rebound in 28 minutes of Monday's win over the Magic. Crowder had scored in double figures in nine straight games before tonight's disaster and he had a big opportunity with Derrick Favors being a late scratch due to neck spasms. He didn't answer the call, but should bounce back in his next game. Crowder was playing well enough to be owned before this disappearing act, so hanging onto him might be the way to go for now.
Dejounte Murray struggles vs. Memphis 03-06-2018
Dejounte Murray G SA
Dejounte Murray played just 18 minutes vs. Memphis on Monday, finishing with four points, four rebounds and one steal. Tony Parker turned back the clock tonight with a vintage 23-point performance, so coach Gregg Popovich went with the hot hand. Murray has generally been pretty solid since taking over as the starter and averaged 13.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.8 steals in his previous six games, so his fantasy owners shouldn't overreact to one bad game.
Davis Bertans scores 17 in 19 minutes 03-06-2018
Davis Bertans F SA
Davis Bertans returned to the bench on Monday vs. the Grizzlies, scoring 17 points in just 19 minutes. Bertans finished 5-of-9 from the field, 1-of-5 from deep and 6-of-7 from the line to go with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one triple. He moved to the bench to accommodate LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle), but could find himself back in the starting lineup on Thursday vs. Golden State with Pau Gasol already considered doubtful with a shoulder injury. He has fared pretty well in nine fill-in starts this season with 10.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.6 blocks, 0.8 steals and 1.9 triples, making him a fine speculative pickup in deeper leagues.
