Previous Day Next Day
Will Barton scores 13 points in start 03-09-2018
Will Barton G DEN
Will Barton scored 13 points with five rebounds, five assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes during his start against the Lakers on Friday. Wilson Chandler did not play due to his troublesome hip, and Barton continues to handle the rock a ton. He's been one of the hottest players in fantasy hoops since the break, averaging 18.0 points, 5.9 boards, 4.6 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.7 blocks and 2.1 treys on 52.7 percent from the field in his previous games since All-Star. It doesn't matter if he starts.
Emmanuel Mudiay comes alive in road loss 03-09-2018
Emmanuel Mudiay G NY
Emmanuel Mudiay posted 19 points across 28 minutes in Friday's 120-112 road loss against the Bucks. Mudiay ended up 10-of-20 from the field, including 4-of-11 from behind the 3-point line, while adding 2-of-2 from the free-throw stripe. He also chipped in with seven rebounds, two assists and a steal. He was horrible in his first three games in March, going just 3-of-25 (12.0 percent) from the field while totaling 12 points. Mudiay remains too inconsistent to consider outside of the deepest fantasy leagues right now.
Enes Kanter effective in his 22 minutes 03-09-2018
Enes Kanter C NY
Enes Kanter ended up hitting 8-of-11 from the field to finish with 16 points over 22 minutes Friday in Milwaukee. Kanter was very effective from the field, and he added eight rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot. The only poor part of his stat line was four turnovers in the eight-point loss. He'll try and take better care of the ball against the big frontcourt of the Raptors on Sunday at Madison Square Garden. He went for 12 points and six rebounds in his most recent meetings against the Raps back on Nov. 17.
Nikola Jokic scores 21 points 03-09-2018
Nikola Jokic C DEN
Nikola Jokic scored 21 points with six rebounds, six assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes against the Lakers on Friday. All is well in Jokic Land again with 14 FGAs in back-to-back games, including his 36-point Wednesday. His minutes are also back up to 33.5 per game after he was benched on Tuesday. If you were worried about Jokic and it was stressing you out, fantasy basketball probably is not for you.
Tim Hardaway Jr. posts 26 points in road loss 03-09-2018
Tim Hardaway Jr. F NY
Tim Hardaway Jr. went for 26 points across 32 minutes in Friday's 120-112 loss in Milwaukee. Hardaway hit 10-of-20 from the field, including 4-of-11 from behind the 3-point line, while adding 2-of-2 from the free-throw stripe. He also chipped in with seven rebounds, two assists and a steal with just one turnover and he was the only New York player in the positive with a plus-4 rating. His team will look for better results Sunday afternoon against Toronto at MSG.
Skal Labissiere (left hip) will not return 03-09-2018
Skal Labissiere F SAC
Skal Labissiere (left hip) will not return against the Magic on Friday.

Jason Jones on Twitter
He had a bad fall in the first half and was down for about two minutes, but Labissiere stayed in the game after that. Presumably, Labissiere is dealing with some lingering pain from the bad fall and the Kings pulled the plug here. It's too bad because he was playing the best ball of his career over a multiple-game stretch. His owners should hold for now and he was sitting on the bench in good spirits. While he's out, Jack Cooley and JaKarr Sampson are probably headed for more run.
Isaiah Thomas quiet vs. the Nuggets 03-09-2018
Isaiah Thomas G LAL
Isaiah Thomas had a quiet night vs. the Nuggets on Friday, scoring 10 points on 5-of-13 shots. He played 29 minutes, adding four assists, two rebounds and one steal with two turnovers. He was just starting to heat up in his previous four March games with 20.5 points, 7.3 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 2.8 triples, but he'll have a golden opportunity to bounce back vs. his former teammates on Sunday at home vs. Cleveland.
Juancho back in the mix 03-09-2018
Juan Hernangomez F DEN
Juancho Hernangomez scored seven points with four rebounds and one turnover in 19 minutes against the Lakers on Friday. He saw some minutes last year when Wilson Chandler was hurt, but the arrival of Paul Millsap hurt Hernangomez's chances. He didn't exactly light it up here, so he's not an add in fantasy.
Brook Lopez scores 29 in loss to Nuggets 03-09-2018
Brook Lopez C LAL
Brook Lopez scored a team-high 29 points in Friday's 125-116 loss to Denver, shooting 12-of-18 from the field and 2-of-3 from the line. He's coming off a 27-point game and also shot 12-of-18 from the field in that one. Lopez added five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three triples, and he's making the most of his extra touches with Brandon Ingram (groin) out. The Lakers have shortened up their rotation which also helps. His fantasy arrow is pointing up as we approach the first week of the fantasy playoffs for most owners.
Gary Harris scores 19 on tidy shooting 03-09-2018
Gary Harris G DEN
Gary Harris scored 19 points with five rebounds, five assists, three steals and five 3-pointers in 39 minutes against the Lakers on Friday. He still doesn't get the credit he deserves for his shooting as he's one of the best jump shooters in the NBA. Harris had said his goal was to shoot 45 percent from deep this year, and now he's up to 40.7 percent on his 371 attempts. He's sitting on a 60 TS% and he's looking at early-round value in standard leagues for a long time.
Lonzo Ball posts 15-8-8 line in loss 03-09-2018
Lonzo Ball G LAL
Lonzo Ball notched 15 points with eight rebounds, eight assists, four steals, one block and one triple in 38 minutes in a 125-116 loss to the Nuggets on Friday. What a difference a couple months can make. Ball was putting up some historically bad shooting numbers to begin the year, but he's starting to find the shooting touch he showcased at UCLA and continues to make his teammates around him look better. He's now played 33+ minutes in five straight games, averaging 13.4 points, 6.6 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, 3.0 steals and 3.2 triples. He's only hitting 43.1% of his shots and is 1-of-4 from the line in that span, but his fantasy owners will live with that if he keeps putting up numbers like these.
Rodney Hood (lower back strain) won't return 03-09-2018
Rodney Hood G CLE
Rodney Hood has lower back strain and will not return on Friday. Not good. Hood has a really tough time shaking injuries, but he hasn't had noteworthy back issues since 2016. His fantasy owners almost have to drop him because his upside isn't great anyway. It'll be a team effort with George Hill, Jordan Clarkson, Cedi Osman and J.R. Smith getting a few extra minutes.
Donny Mitchell scores 12 points 03-09-2018
Donovan Mitchell G UTH
Donovan Mitchell scored 12 points with five rebounds, six assists, one block, two steals and three 3-poitners during a 95-78 win over the Grizzlies on Friday. The Jazz are suddenly hot again with another five game winning streak. Add that to their 11-game win streak, and they're at 17-2 over their last 19 games. Mitchell hasn't had any "wow" games in this new stretch, but he's still solid with averages of 20.8 points, 4.4 boards, 4.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.6 treys in the five wins. He's shaping up to be a third- or second-round pick next season.
Shabazz Muhammad scores first points for MIL 03-09-2018
Shabazz Muhammad G MIL
Shabazz Muhammad posted six points on 2-of-3 shooting in six minutes off the bench Friday against the Knicks. Muhammad didn't play much, but he had the six points while going 2-of-2 from the free-throw line with a rebounds and a steal. It will likely take an injury or two before Muhammad has any kind of meaningful role in Cream City. Still, his presence might carve into the minutes of Ian Snell, especially if he goes scoreless across 27 minutes like he did Friday.
Jae Crowder scores season-high 22 points 03-09-2018
Jae Crowder F UTH
Jae Crowder scored a season-high 22 points with one rebound, three assists, one block, one steal and six 3-pointers against the Grizzlies on Friday. He has really figured it out again and he's been one of the best backup power forwards in the league since joining Utah. In fact, when he's with the other four starters not named Derrick Favors, that unit has a +31.2 net rating to make them one of the best units in hoops over their 76 minutes. Crowder is worth a long look in standard leagues.
Rudy Gobert scores just four 03-09-2018
Rudy Gobert C UTH
Rudy Gobert scored four points with 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks in 34 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday. He picked up two quick fouls and couldn't really get it going after that. Before this dud, Gobert has been on a serious heater since the break, averaging 18.7 points, 12.0 boards, 1.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.3 blocks in his previous seven games. He should be a monster the rest of the way.
Tyler Zeller effective in Friday return 03-09-2018
Tyler Zeller C MIL
Tyler Zeller (back) was able to post 12 points in just 17 minutes in his return to action Friday against New York. Zeller missed the past two games after leaving Sunday's contest due to a sore back. He was also able to add six rebounds and an assist with no turnovers while going a perfect 2-of-2 from the free-throw line. Despite the semi-respectable numbers he remains useful only in the deepest of fantasy leagues at this point.
Bradley Beal scores 16 vs. Pelicans 03-09-2018
Bradley Beal G WAS
Bradley Beal scored 16 points with seven assists, four rebounds, one steal and two triples in an easy win over the Pelicans on Friday. Beal has been logging a ton of minutes lately including 43 in each of his last two games, but he got some valuable rest down the stretch of this one, playing just 29 minutes in the blowout. That's huge with the Wizards traveling to Miami for the second night of a back-to-back. His durability was really the only big question mark entering the season but he's putting those concerns to bed and hasn't missed a single game all year.
Xavier Rathan-Mayes getting more run 03-09-2018
Xavier Rathan-Mayes G MEM
Xavier Rathan-Mayes scored eight points with one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes on Friday against the Jazz during a 95-78 loss. He's looked comfortable handling the rock, but he's still not quite there as scorer. XRM scored his first four points in his first minute of action, but couldn't get good looks after that. There's a very good chance he'll be looking at heavy minutes on Saturday.
JaMychal Green scores two points 03-09-2018
JaMychal Green F MEM
JaMychal Green scored two points with five rebounds, three assists and no turnovers in 31 minutes against the Jazz on Friday. He finally had a bad game, but that hasn't been the case for most of his post-break run. In his previous outings since the All-Star Game, Green averaged 13.3 points, 11.4 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.9 treys. He's worth owning in standard leagues, but beware of possible rest on Saturday.
Jarell Martin scores 13 points in return 03-09-2018
Jarell Martin F MEM
Jarell Martin scored 13 points with five rebounds and one steal in 30 minutes against the Jazz on Friday. He came in off the bench and played SF for his first minutes and he continues to play some power forward, as well. Martin should be getting minutes most nights now that he's over his knee injury, but of course his fantasy owners have to be on alert for the rest game in Dallas on Saturday. He's an OK add in fantasy just because the situation in Memphis is such a mess.
Jabari Parker goes for a dozen off bench 03-09-2018
Jabari Parker F MIL
Jabari Parker hit 5-of-8 from the field to finish with 12 points across 23 minutes in Friday's game against New York. Parker also connected on 2-of-3 from behind the 3-point line while adding five assists and four rebounds with just one turnover. He is averaging 12.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game over his five outings in the month of March. The five-game streak with 10 or more points is his longest since returning from his long-term knee injury.
Otto Porter (hip) scores 19 on 8-of-13 FGs 03-09-2018
Otto Porter Jr. F WAS
Otto Porter played through a bruised right hip on his way to 19 points on 8-of-13 shots in a comfortable 116-97 win over the Pelicans on Friday. He only played 26 minutes, but that was due to the lopsided score. Porter didn't look limited at all, grabbing seven rebounds, with one assist, one steal and two triples. It will be interesting to see how his hip responds in the morning, but he should be relatively fresh for Saturday's game vs. the Heat on the second night of a back-to-back.
Tony Snell does nothing in Friday's start 03-09-2018
Tony Snell G MIL
Tony Snell made the start Friday against the Knicks, but he was scoreless across 27 minutes. It's uncertain if his thigh injury was still bothering him, but he was 0-of-3 from the field, including 0-of-2 from behind the arc. He salvaged the stat line somewhat with five assists, a rebound and just one turnover. Shabazz Muhammad scored six points in six minutes off the bench and he could carve into Snell's fantasy value, especially if these type of lines continue.
Eric Bledsoe dishes out eight dimes in win 03-09-2018
Eric Bledsoe G MIL
Eric Bledsoe posted seven points with eight assists, four steals and three rebounds across 28 minutes in Friday's 120-112 win against the Knicks. Bledsoe wasn't a big part of the offense, as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton were accounting for 58 of the 79 points by the team's starting five. He didn't have a banner game, turning it over five times while going 0-of-2 from the free-throw stripe, too. He'll look to pick up the pace in Monday's road game against the Grizzlies.
Darius Miller scores 20 points w/ four treys 03-09-2018
Darius Miller F NO
Darius Miller dropped 20 points with one assist, one block and four triples in 33 minutes vs. the Wizards on Friday. Anthony Davis (ankle) sat this one out and no one else was hitting shots, so Miller stepped up. He does have some low-end appeal when Davis is on the shelf, but coach Alvin Gentry was optimistic that AD would be back on Sunday. For that reason, Miller is only worth monitoring unless we get bad news.
Ben McLemore scores 14 points vs. Utah 03-09-2018
Ben McLemore G MEM
Ben McLemore scored 14 points with four rebounds, one turnover and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Jazz on Saturday. He's playing a ton with 38 minutes in each of his previous two games with a DNP-Personal in between. McLemore looks like he's ticketed for big minutes all year and he's been scoring the ball well, but it wouldn't be a total shock to see him be a DNP-Rest on Saturday. He's a low-end hold in deeper leagues.
John Henson sharp in the middle during win 03-09-2018
John Henson F MIL
John Henson ended up with 14 points across 31 minutes in Friday's 120-112 victory against the Knicks. Henson was a very effective 5-of-7 from the field when called upon at the offensive end. Oddly enough, as efficient as he was from the floor, he was just 4-of-7 from the free-throw stripe. He also chipped in with four rebounds, four blocked shots, two assists and a steal. Henson tied a season best with the four swats. Next up is a trip to Memphis on Monday, kicking off a three-game week.
Dillon Brooks scores 18 points 03-09-2018
Dillon Brooks F MEM
Dillon Brooks scored 18 points with three rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Jazz on Friday. He's been as hot as he has been all year with 25.0 points per game over his previous two games. However, Brooks continues to do little else on the stat sheet, so he's basically a cheaper version of Reggie Bullock in standard leagues. He could be busy on Saturday, though.
Marc Gasol scores nine with four blocks 03-09-2018
Marc Gasol C MEM
Marc Gasol scored nine points with 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and four blocks in 32 minutes against the Jazz on Friday. The Grizzlies are probably going to rest Gasol on Saturday, so his fantasy owners will have to be looking out for that. If he's active, he should be able to produce with he Grizzlies not dialing his minutes back with only a 0.7 minute-per-game drop post-break.
Khris Middleton effective from the field 03-09-2018
Khris Middleton F MIL
Khris Middleton ended up scoring 30 points on 11-of-16 shooting in Friday's game against the Knicks. Middleton came alive going 2-of-4 from behind the arc while going a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw stripe. The 30 points tied for his most since he dumped in 31 points on Dec. 8 against the Mavericks. He entered the game shooting just 12-of-34 (35.3 percent) from the field over the past three contests, so fantasy owners hope this will spur him on. Next up is a trip to Memphis on Monday to start a three-game week.
Nikola Mirotic struggles vs. Wizards 03-09-2018
Nikola Mirotic F NO
Nikola Mirotic couldn't get his shot to fall on Friday vs. the Wizards, hitting 3-of-11 attempts for nine points. He burned a lot of fantasy owners tonight because expectations were extremely high without Anthony Davis (ankle). To be fair to Mirotic, only one starter scored in double digits for the Pelicans (Rajon Rondo with 11). Mirotic still managed to grab 12 rebounds with one assist and a steal, and he'll look to get back on track vs. the Jazz on Sunday.
Jrue Holiday flops vs. the Wizards 03-09-2018
Jrue Holiday G NO
Jrue Holiday matched his season-low of four points on Friday vs. the Wizards, hitting 2-of-8 shots in 28 minutes. He was a popular target in DFS, as Anthony Davis (ankle) sat this one out and Holiday has per-36 averages of 29.2 points, 3.8 boards, 8.1 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.1 blocks and 3.1 treys with both AD and DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) off the floor. Holiday couldn't salvage his line either, adding just three rebounds and two assists. He did have three blocks, though. Holiday has second-round value on the season and is crushing his ADP, so his fantasy owners should just chalk this up as an off night.
Giannis Antetokounmpo busy at charity stripe 03-09-2018
Giannis Antetokounmpo F MIL
Giannis Antetokounmpo ended up with 28 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocked shots over 35 minutes against New York on Friday. Antetokounmpo ended up hitting 7-of-15 from the field, while a majority of his scoring was done at the free-throw line. He was 14-of-18 from the charity stripe, his most made free throws and most attempts since he was 17-of-22 from the line back on Dec. 2 against Sacramento. He'll have a couple of days to rest before the Bucks head to Memphis on Monday to start a three-game work week.
Kyle Lowry scores 30 points in win vs. HOU 03-09-2018
Kyle Lowry G TOR
Kyle Lowry scored 30 points during a thrilling 108-105 win over the Rockets on Friday, adding three rebounds, six assists, one steal and seven 3-pointers in 33 minutes. He beat the Rockets at their game with plenty of treys, especially in the early going. In fact, Lowry at one point had six 3-pointers while the Rockets only had one make at that time. Lowry's scoring was actually way down coming in at just 13.9 points per game since the break, but basically every other stat was just fine. We've seen Lowry take a couple usage dips, but obviously his fantasy owners don't care as long as he's out there for 32-25 minutes.
Cheick Diallo posts 14-9-2 line w/ 3 blocks 03-09-2018
Cheick Diallo F NO
Cheick Diallo came to play on Friday vs. the Wizards, scoring a season-high 14 points with nine rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 22 minutes. The game was a blowout and Diallo played the entire fourth quarter with 10 of his 14 points in that span, so he could've had a much bigger night if coach Alvin Gentry went to him earlier. Diallo only played more than 20 minutes in one other game this season and put up 13 points, 15 rebounds, one assist and three steals, and he also averaged 13.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in the five games that he played more than 22 minutes as a rookie last season. It sounds like Anthony Davis (ankle) will likely be back on Sunday, so he's not an add unless we get bad news.
Jonas Valanciunas has big game vs. Rockets 03-09-2018
Jonas Valanciunas C TOR
Jonas Valanciunas scored 14 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 28 minutes against the Rockets on Friday. While it wasn't his best box score, he had one of his best games of the season against Clint Capela. He's had a fantastic start to March with fairly consistent playing time, averaging 14.6 points, 9.0 boards, 1.6 assists, 1.6 blocks and 0.8 treys. Patience has paid off on JV and he looks ready for a big finish.
Bojan Bogdanovic scores 21 in win 03-09-2018
Bojan Bogdanovic F IND
Bojan Bogdanovic scored 21 points on 8-of-15 shots vs. the Hawks on Friday. He's been on an absolute tear. Since his scoreless dud on Jan. 29, Bogdanovic hasn't scored fewer than 13 points and he's also scored 20+ points in seven of those. He added three rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointes, and he's now shot 50% or higher from the field in five out of his last seven games. He's producing mid-round fantasy value and is peaking just in time for the playoffs.
Fred VanVleet scores 11 in 23 minutes 03-09-2018
Fred VanVleet G TOR
Fred VanVleet scored 11 points with two rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes against the Rockets on Friday. He played down the stretch next to Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, Norman Powell and Jonas Valanciuanas. VanVleet has been solid on defense despite his 6'0" frame and he continues to see minutes in the upper 20s most nights while the Raptors are banged up. He has a +14.1 net rating on the season and continues to bury opponents. It's been a Nightmare on L Street for their foes when scary Freddy is out there. Lame reference aside, he should be owned in standard leagues.
Cory Joseph scores 18 vs. Atlanta 03-09-2018
Cory Joseph G IND
Cory Joseph scored 18 points with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and two triples in 35 minutes vs. the Hawks on Friday. This was a nice parting gift to his fantasy owners, as he's not going to be able to hold onto his value when he moves back to the bench in the near future. Darren Collison looked excellent and saw more minutes than expected (21 minutes) in his first game back, so Joseph can be dropped in standard leagues for a hot free agent.
Milos to the bench 03-09-2018
Milos Teodosic G LAC
Milos Teodosic will move to the bench on Friday against the Cavs. There hasn't been any talk of an injury, so coach Doc Rivers may just be shuffling his lineup. Teodosic played 27 minutes with nine points in the last game, so expect him to be in the upper 20s again.
Sindarius Thornwell starting 03-09-2018
Sindarius Thornwell G LAC
Sindarius Thornwell is starting against the Cavs on Friday. Wes Johnson played just seven minutes in a start last time, so Thornwell is probably going to be around 10 or so, assuming he doesn't go off.
Victor Oladipo scores 17 in easy win 03-09-2018
Victor Oladipo G IND
Victor Oladipo scored 17 points in an easy win over the Hawks on Friday, adding five rebounds, five assists, two steals and two triples in 25 minutes. He got all his damage done early with the score getting out of hand late. Dipo hit 7-of-9 shots tonight, a huge relief after hitting just 11-of-38 in his previous two games. Oladipo's true shooting percentage and EFG% are higher when Darren Collison is on the floor, so apart from a small dip in usage rate his fantasy value shouldn't change much. He's locked in as a first-round stud for the fantasy playoffs.
Lou Williams, Sindarius Thornwell starting 03-09-2018
Lou Williams G LAC
Sindarius Thornwell, Tobias Harris, DeAndre Jordan, Lou Williams and Austin Rivers will start on Friday against the Cavs. Interesting move here with Williams, but he'll get huge minutes regardless of his role in the lineup. Wes Johnson and Milos Teodosic moved to the bench.
KANGZ: Garrett Temple starts over Mason 03-09-2018
Garrett Temple G SAC
Garrett Temple started over Frank Mason on Friday against the Magic. Kangz. We're still not worried about Mason here.
Darren Collison scores 17 in 21 minutes 03-09-2018
Darren Collison G IND
Darren Collison (knee) returned to action in Thursday's 112-87 win over the Hawks, scoring 17 points with five assists, two rebounds, one steal and two triples in 21 minutes. He was so tired at the half that he said he struggled to get through the halftime interview, but he looked solid and it's a great sign that he was on the floor in the fourth quarter with the Pacers up big -- he was also only expected to play 10-15 minutes. The Pacers only have one more back-to-back set this season and it's not until April, so they will be able to ramp up his workload without any DNPs. He might not be ready for a full workload for a couple more games, but it's good to see him back with most fantasy playoffs starting up after this weekend and he should be back in the starting lineup in a game or two.
Norman Powell gets minutes in start 03-09-2018
Norman Powell F TOR
Norman Powell played 31 minutes in a start on Friday with two points, three rebounds and three assists against the Rockets. He played down the stretch and was on James Harden for most of his playing time. Powell seems to have coach Dwane Casey's trust, so he may be getting a few more starts. Of course, this stat line leaves a lot to be desired. He's more of a stream while OG Anunoby (ankle) and Delon Wright (toe) are out.
James Harden scores 40 in loss to Raptors 03-09-2018
James Harden G HOU
James Harden's 40 points were not enough during a 108-105 loss to the Raptors on Friday, adding two rebounds, four assists and four 3-pointers in 33 minutes. The Rockets' 17-game finally comes to an end, and it had a lot to do with their terrible start in the first with Toronto going up 32-16. Harden almost willed the Rockets back with some crazy clutch buckets including a game-tying trey at 2:10 left, but the Raptors had some answers. Clutch has been a trend for the Rockets on the year, entering tonight with a league-leading +21.9 net rating in the clutch. The clutch time is rare with a league-low 82 minutes, and again they played well down the stretch tonight to almost pull off another comeback -- they never led besides a 2-0 start. Harden has MVP in the bag.
Dennis Schroder plays 24 minutes in blowout 03-09-2018
Dennis Schroder G ATL
Dennis Schroder played just 24 minutes vs. the Pacers on Friday, scoring 15 points (6-of-14 FGs) with four assists, one rebound, one steal, one triple and six turnovers. The Hawks were a disaster tonight and no one in the starting lineup did anything notable. Schroder's low minutes were a result of the lopsided score, but at least he wasn't put into coach Mike Budenholzer's doghouse tonight -- Taurean Prince took care of that this time around. The Hawks will face a team on Sunday (Bulls) that they are racing to the bottom of the standings for lottery balls, so it will be interesting to see if they do anything shady (they rested Kent Bazemore vs. the Suns recently).
Chris Paul gets the business from Lowry 03-09-2018
Chris Paul G HOU
Chris Paul scored 14 points with three rebounds, three assists, three steals and two turnovers in 33 minutes against the Raptors on Friday. Kyle Lowry dominated this matchup on both ends, especially in the early going. Paul also had a rare double-digit dime game in 2018 on Wednesday, but his three dimes tonight are his fewest since Feb. 1. Paul almost never goes into a slump, so expect a big game for him vs. Dallas on Sunday.
Joe Johnson gets 16 minutes 03-09-2018
Joe Johnson G HOU
Joe Johnson scored five points with one rebound, one assist and one 3-pointer in 16 minutes against the Raptors on Friday. He's just another option and he fits the bill as a shooter that can also cover fours. Johnson won't have much fantasy value while the Rockets are even close to healthy.
Clint Capela scores 13 with 13 boards 03-09-2018
Clint Capela C HOU
Clint Capela (calf) scored 13 points with 13 rebounds, one assist and two steals in 26 minutes against the Raptors on Friday. The Raptors looked like they had a game plan to keep Capela off the glass early, but he still had a solid line. Capela also had six offensive rebounds and that aspect of his game has been big time with 3.3 per game on the year, which helps on all those boards from treys. He's had a great year and there's no concern about that calf issue that put him on the injury report today.
Blake Griffin scores 25 points in win 03-09-2018
Blake Griffin F DET
Blake Griffin scored 25 points with eight rebounds, eight assists and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes during a 99-83 win over the Bulls on Friday. Chicago coming to town certainly helped to get the Pistons off their four-game losing streak. They're still 4.5 games behind the Heat for the No. 8 spot, so chances are they'll be giving up a lottery pick in the Blake Griffin trade -- the odds are currently just 2.5 percent that they keep the pick. As for Blake, he's heating up again with 25-plus points in four straight, so his fantasy owners have to feel better. They Pistons are off for three days now.
Reggie Bullock scores 21 again 03-09-2018
Reggie Bullock F DET
Reggie Bullock scored 21 points with three rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes against the Bulls on Friday. His usage is there and he is firing away with 7.2 attempts from deep over his last five, averaging 17.0 points, 4.0 boards, 2.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 2.8 made treys. Bullock doesn't do much besides score, but fantasy owners will gladly take this. He should be owned in standard leagues.
Jameer Nelson gets the backup PG 03-09-2018
Jameer Nelson G DET
Jameer Nelson scored four points with three assists, one block and two steals in 17 minutes against the Bulls on Friday. Dwight Buycks won't be out long, so Nelson probably won't be in the rotation in a few days.
James Ennis has another solid game 03-09-2018
James Ennis III F DET
James Ennis scored 14 points with three rebounds, one assist, three steals and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Bulls on Friday. He's actually been productive as a starter, but a lot of that is because he's been making an unsustainable amount of shots. Over is last five, he's averaged 11.8 points, 3.4 boards, 1.4 dimes, 1.2 blocks and 1.6 treys. He's worth a look because he's semi hot, but he's also off until Mar. 13.
Skal Labissiere starting on Friday 03-09-2018
Skal Labissiere F SAC
Skal Labissiere is starting on Friday vs. the Magic. This means there's a good chance we don't see Zach Randolph at all tonight. Labissiere has put together four solid games in a row and is worth owning in standard leagues, but it's an added bonus when Z-Bo gets the night off.
Zach Randolph not starting 03-09-2018
Zach Randolph F SAC
Zach Randolph is not starting on Friday against the Magic.

Josh Robbins on Twitter
There's a very good chance he is not going to play. Randolph is going to get more nights off going forward.
Tyler Dorsey leads Hawks with 18 points 03-09-2018
Tyler Dorsey G ATL
Tyler Dorsey scored a career-high 18 points vs. the Pacers in a 112-87 blowout loss, adding four rebounds and three triples in 25 minutes. He cleaned up in garbage time with 12 points in a three-minute span of the fourth quarter, so it's hard to get too excited about this line. The Hawks have shown that their willing to rest their key guys such as Dennis Schroder and Kent Bazemore, so Dorsey could be a sneaky play on the nights when Atlanta is shorthanded. He's also on the deep-league radar, playing 25+ minutes in three straight games with double-digit points in each.
Free Mason: Frank starting against Orlando 03-09-2018
Frank Mason G SAC
Frank Mason, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Justin Jackson, Kosta Koufos and Skal Labissiere will start against the Magic on Friday.

Josh Robbins on Twitter
Giddy up for FM3. He should be looking at his best chance in about two months and he could get minutes in the 30s. His per-minute numbers aren't great, but the opportunity is there vs. D.J. Augustin. Mason is worth a look if you need a guard and he's serious chalk in DFS tonight.
Zach LaVine doesn't like playing in Detroit 03-09-2018
Zach LaVine G CHI
Zach LaVine made 3-of-15 from the field for eight points during a 99-83 loss to the Pistons on Friday, adding three rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes. Detroit hasn't been kind to LaVine with this dud and also tearing his ACL against the Pistons on Feb. 2 of last year. LaVine is still expected to have a minutes limit and back-to-back restriction from that injury, but he doesn't appear to be a part of the rest movement. He obviously needs to hit shots and is down to just 34.2 percent from the field in his last five.
Kris Dunn's minutes take a slight hit 03-09-2018
Kris Dunn G CHI
Kris Dunn played 25 minutes with 13 points, one rebound, four assists, three steals and one 3-pointer against the Pistons on Friday. His minutes were dialed back a bit, and somewhat surprisingly Dunn picked up one minute in garbage time. Cameron Payne was actually decent on the offensive side, and it's possible this becomes closer to a 60/40 minute split. Still, Dunn is playing well enough to still hold value at around 30 minutes per game.
Isaiah Taylor tweaks his ankle vs. Pacers 03-09-2018
Isaiah Taylor G ATL
Isaiah Taylor tweaked his left ankle vs. the Pacers on Friday and wasn't able to return. The Hawks haven't bothered to update his status since he went back to the locker room after six minutes of playing time. He's currently Dennis Schroder's backup, and with Malcolm Delaney (ankle) also out we got to see fourth-string PG Josh Magette get some run tonight. We'll consider Taylor questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Bulls, but he belongs on the wire in standard leagues.
Cris Felicio scores four 03-09-2018
Cristiano Felicio C CHI
Cristiano Felicio scored four points with three rebounds and two assists in 10 minutes against the Pistons on Friday. He picked up minutes in the final three quarters, but Felicio is still the No. 3 center. He's been struggling all season, so obviously he doesn't have enough fantasy value at this spot on the depth chart.
Bobby Portis struggles with shot vs. DET 03-09-2018
Bobby Portis F CHI
Bobby Portis came off the bench to start and started the third quarter against the Pistons on Friday, making 1-of-10 from the field for two points with five rebounds, five assists and two steals in 28 minutes. Yikes on the shooting here, but it was a good sign for Portis with Robin Lopez only playing in the first quarter. Portis is still going to get his shots and he should approach 30 minutes most nights, so his fantasy owners shouldn't expect a drop off.
David Nwaba struggles vs. Pistons 03-09-2018
David Nwaba G CHI
David Nwaba scored two points with two rebounds and three turnovers in 23 minutes against the Pistons on Friday. Despite the bad game, the rotation was slightly encouraging with Justin Holiday not playing beyond the first quarter in his start. Nwaba got the start in the third quarter, but he was all out of whack on the offensive side. He will probably need to hit 30 minutes to be valuable for most fantasy owners, so this may not be a situation fantasy owners will want to pursue.
Justin Holiday only plays in the first 03-09-2018
Justin Holiday G CHI
Justin Holiday played 12 minutes with six points, two rebounds and two 3-pointers against the Pistons on Friday. He played the whole first, and he didn't play at all after that with David Nwaba starting the third. Holiday is likely not going to play at all in the second and fourth quarters after just playing the first and third Wednesday, but now it may not be past the first. It'll be interesting to see how the NBA feels about this, but this plan to not play Holiday beyond the first should be more than enough to satisfy the league. Holiday can't be trusted in fantasy.
Robin Lopez makes his start 03-09-2018
Robin Lopez C CHI
Robin Lopez returned to the starting lineup on Friday wit nine points, two boards and one 3-pointer in 12 minutes against the Pistons on Friday. He played the entire first quarter, and that was it for him. Lopez probably won't see more than 15 minutes in any game the rest of the way, so there's no reason to add him almost anywhere. He might not see any time in the second, third and fourth quarter all year either.
Cam Payne comes up big off bench 03-09-2018
Cameron Payne G CHI
Cameron Payne scored a season-high 17 points with one rebound, two steals and four 3-pointers in 23 minutes against the Pistons on Friday. It was his best game on the season with a hot start, scoring his first 11 points on 110.0 eFG%. The Bulls are preaching youth development and they gave up way to much to get Payne last year, so maybe they up him to minutes in the mid 20s. He's been strong in steals with eight in his last two, but it's really tough to rely on him beyond that. Just keep an eye on him in deep leagues or consider him as a stream some days.
Taurean Prince benched for second half 03-09-2018
Taurean Prince F ATL
Taurean Prince was benched for the entire second half of Friday's blowout loss to Indiana, finishing with three points, one rebound, one assist, one block and one triple in 18 minutes. He's healthy according to the Hawks broadcast, meaning this was a coach's decision. Prince didn't show much effort on the defensive end, was invisible on offense and coach Mike Budenholzer has called him out in the past, but hopefully this doesn't become a trend. He was playing really well in his previous three March games with 15.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, 1.7 steals and 4.3 triples, so it will be interesting to see if he can get back on track vs. the Bulls on Sunday.
Avery Bradley is 'not close at all' 03-09-2018
Avery Bradley G LAC
Clippers coach Doc Rivers said Avery Bradley (groin) is not close at all to a return.

Law Murray on Twitter
This has shutdown written all over it. Bradley may need offseason surgery and there's a good chance we don't see him again this season. This is terrible timing with Bradley hitting free agency this summer. Drop him if you haven't already.
Gallo actually progressing from injury 03-09-2018
Danilo Gallinari F LAC
Coach Doc Rivers said Danilo Gallinari (hand) may be getting closer to a return after running in practice.

Law Murray on Twitter
He has a fracture in his hand and is out for at least two weeks, so he's still going to be out until at least the 16th. Perhaps he could make it back in later March, but fantasy owners probably don't want to add him until we get a target date.
Jawun Evans available to play 03-09-2018
Jawun Evans G LAC
Jawun Evans (abdomen) is available to play on Friday against the Cavs.

Tomer Azarly on Twitter
He was back at practice on Thursday and he could get some minutes tonight. Evans likely won't get more than 15, so he's not a fantasy play in just about any league.
Isaac to start, play up to 25 minutes 03-09-2018
Jonathan Isaac F ORL
Jonathan Isaac will start on Friday vs. the Kings. The Magic are shorthanded with Evan Fournier (knee) and Aaron Gordon (concussion) on the shelf. Isaac should be a great source of defensive stats, but we'll be watching to see if he can find his rhythm on offense. He's played about 16 minutes per game since returning from his ankle injury, but that number is expected to rise to 25 tonight. If he puts together a strong line tonight he'll be a hot pickup off the wire.
Will Barton starting on Friday night 03-09-2018
Will Barton G DEN
Will Barton is starting for Wilson Chandler (hip) on Friday against the Lakers.

Nuggets on Twitter
Coach Mike Malone doesn't get cute here and Barton has a good chance to get 35-40 minutes tonight. He's been on a tear, so he obviously needs to be in all lineups.
Mario Hezonja and Jonathan Isaac starting 03-09-2018
Mario Hezonja G ORL
Mario Hezonja and Jonathan Isaac will start on Friday vs. the Kings.

Josh Robbins on Twitter
This is an expected move with Evan Fournier (knee) and Aaron Gordon (concussion) out. We don't know how long those guys are going to be out, but the Magic may be very cautious given their position in the standings. Hezonja was putting up early-round numbers the last time AG went down, so he has to be picked up everywhere and can be considered a must-start player.
Quinn Cook will start for Steph Curry (ankle) 03-09-2018
Quinn Cook G GS
Quinn Cook will start for Steph Curry (ankle) against the Blazers on Friday.

Anthony Slater on Twitter
Coach Steve Kerr opts to keep Shaun Livingston on the bench here, and Cook should be looking at decent minutes. He's not going to do too much with them and he won't run the offense, so he's only a desperation flier or DFS punt.
Moe Harkless (knee) will play Friday vs. GSW 03-09-2018
Maurice Harkless F POR
Moe Harkless (knee) will play on Friday vs. the Warriors.

Joe Freeman on Twitter
Coach Terry Stotts also said Harkless will "probably" start which would push Evan Turner to the second unit. The Blazers could certainly use his length on Kevin Durant, but it's unclear how many minutes Harkless will see. He's worth a look if you're targeting steals, but he's been disappointing for the most part this season.
D.J. Augustin (ankle) will play vs. the Kings 03-09-2018
D.J. Augustin G ORL
D.J. Augustin (ankle) will play vs. the Kings.

Josh Robbins on Twitter
Coach Frank Vogel was expecting him to play and now we have official confirmation. Augustin was previously just a low-end player to own in standard leagues, but should see a bump in value with both Evan Fournier (knee) and Aaron Gordon (hip) out.
Jarell Martin (knee) is available Friday 03-09-2018
Jarell Martin F MEM
Jarell Martin (knee) is available on Friday vs. the Jazz.

Grizzlies PR
He's officially back after a two-game absence. The Grizzlies also play on Saturday and may rest a veteran or two vs. Dallas (including Marc Gasol), so Martin could get a bump. With that said, there's no guarantee Martin plays on the second night of a back-to-back. He's still more of a low-end big to own while JaMychal Green is playing well.
Wilson Chandler (right hip) out Friday 03-09-2018
Wilson Chandler F DEN
Wilson Chandler (right hip soreness) will not play on Friday vs. the Lakers.

Gina Mizell on Twitter
Anthony Davis (ankle) ruled out vs. Wizards 03-09-2018
Anthony Davis F NO
Anthony Davis (ankle) has been ruled out vs. the Wizards on Friday.
Nikola Mirotic starting for Anthony Davis 03-09-2018
Nikola Mirotic F NO
Nikola Mirotic will start in place of Anthony Davis (ankle) on Friday vs. the Wizards.

Chris Miller on Twitter
The Pelicans will also start Rajon Rondo, Jrue Holiday, E'Twaun Moore and Emeka Okafor. Coach Alvin Gentry was optimistic that Davis would return on Sunday, but Mirotic will get all the touches he can handle tonight and has monster upside.
Jamal Murray good to go vs. LA 03-09-2018
Jamal Murray G DEN
Jamal Murray will play against the Lakers on Friday.

T.J. McBride on Twitter
He took a shot on his head on Wednesday, but he was not placed in the concussion protocol. Murray could be looking at more minutes tonight with Wilson Chandler (hip) banged up.
Wilson Chandler (hip) questionable vs. LAL 03-09-2018
Wilson Chandler F DEN
Wilson Chandler (right hip soreness) is questionable to face the Lakers on Friday.

T.J. McBride on Twitter
This is the same right hip that required surgery and kept him out for a season, so this is something to watch. Chandler has been great lately, but the Nuggets may choose to hold him out. Will Barton should see a few more minutes and is a good bet to start. We could see more Malik Beasley or Darrell Arthur help out, too.
Otto Porter (bruised right hip) will play 03-09-2018
Otto Porter Jr. F WAS
Otto Porter (bruised right hip) will play vs. the Pelicans on Friday.

Wizards on Twitter
He tweaked his hip back on Tuesday, but he's had a few days off and was able to go through the morning shootaround. We haven't heard about any restrictions, but the Wizards will be watching him closely. He's safe to deploy in season-long leagues, while Kelly Oubre loses some streaming appeal.
Julius Randle (illness) good to go Friday 03-09-2018
Julius Randle F LAL
Julius Randle (illness) will play on Friday vs. the Nuggets.

Mike Trudell on Twitter
Randle didn't play much in the fourth quarter of his last game because coach Luke Walton said he was a little under the weather, but he's reportedly feeling better and should see his normal allotment of minutes.
Anthony Davis is a true game-time decision 03-09-2018
Anthony Davis F NO
Coach Alvin Gentry confirmed Anthony Davis (ankle) "tried it" in warmups, but the decision on his status won't be made "until there's about 40 seconds left on the clock."

Scott Kushner on Twitter
OK then. While AD is doubtful to play today and Gentry said he's unlikely this afternoon, the coach did say he's "optimistic" on AD playing Sunday. "I don't think think it's that big of a deal," Gentry said. "It's a sprained ankle. It'll be OK." With him likely out, we'll see a slew of guys stepping up.
Tyler Zeller (back soreness) is available 03-09-2018
Tyler Zeller C MIL
Tyler Zeller (back soreness) is available on Friday vs. the Knicks.

Matt Velazquez on Twitter
He's back after sitting out his last two games. There's a chance Zeller could enter the game ahead of Thon Maker, but there's also a chance we see all three centers. Zeller isn't a fantasy asset, but John Henson's ceiling isn't quite as high now.
Gentry: Anthony Davis is unlikely to play 03-09-2018
Anthony Davis F NO
Coach Alvin Gentry said Anthony Davis (ankle) probably won't play on Friday against the Wizards.

Will Guillory on Twitter
He isn't ruled out yet and most signs point to him going through warmups. We'll be updating him every step of the way, so settle in as we look for more updates. How 'bout those Cleveland Browns?
Norman Powell getting another start 03-09-2018
Norman Powell F TOR
Norman Powell is getting another start on Friday against the Rockets.

Blake Murphy on Twitter
He's coming off a 17-point game and was a big part of a comeback win over the Pistons. Powell is going to have to stay hot to get minutes late in the game, but two other closing candidates, OG Anunoby and Delon Wright, are out. If he plays well and maybe if Fred VanVleet doesn't start rolling, Powell could be a solid DFS play. While it's an attractive matchup, there's risk, of course.
Stanley Johnson (back) out again 03-09-2018
Stanley Johnson F DET
Stanley Johnson (back) is out for Friday against the Bulls.

Keith Langlois on Twitter
He hasn't been expected to play all day and could miss more time. With Johnson out, it'll be James Ennis and Luke Kennard getting a few extra minutes.
Darren Collison (knee) will play vs. ATL 03-09-2018
Darren Collison G IND
Darren Collison (knee) will play off the bench against the Hawks on Friday and play about 10-15 minutes.

Pacers on Twitter
He has been expected to return all day and he was optimistic at practice on Thursday. Collison said conditioning is the last hurdle for him, and there's a good chance he'll have restrictions for a few days. He needs to be added in all leagues, but he's not a DFS play yet.
Jaylen Brown in concussion protocol 03-09-2018
Jaylen Brown G BOS
Jaylen Brown has been placed in to the NBA's concussion protocol. He's likely going to miss multiple games because of his terrifying fall on Thursday, but Brown is doing well and he did travel with the team. Hopefully, the Celtics can get him back in time to get some rhythm before the playoffs. While he's out, it'll be Terry Rozier, Marcus Smart and Marcus Morris getting extra run with maybe more Semi Ojeleye.
Quinn Cook has enough two-way days left 03-09-2018
Quinn Cook G GS
Coach Steve Kerr said Quinn Cook should have enough days left on his two-way deal to stay with the Warriors the rest of the regular season.

Mark Medina on Twitter
Kerr also said the team previously mapped out a plan to make sure he was available late in the season, so this confirms the Warriors could be looking to rest players later. He's headed for some consistent minutes, especially with how the Warriors won't play Shaun Livingston too much. Cook is still only an add in very deep leagues.
Klay Thompson (hip) not on injury report 03-09-2018
Klay Thompson G GS
Klay Thompson (hip) is not on the injury report for Friday against the Blazers.

Warriors on Twitter
That's good news after Thompson revealed he's playing through some soreness, but he said he was "fine" yesterday. He gets a massive usage rate boost with Stephen Curry on the bench, so he could be in for a huge night.
David West (arm) will not play vs. Blazers 03-09-2018
David West F GS
David West (arm) will not play against the Blazers on Friday.

Warriors on Twitter
The Warriors are playing it safe with West, and they'll be rolling with JaVale McGee and Kevon Looney at center.
Andre Iguodala (wrist) out for Friday night 03-09-2018
Andre Iguodala G GS
Andre Iguodala (wrist) is out for Friday night against the Blazers.

Warriors on Twitter
This will be his second game out from an injury on Tuesday. We'll be seeing a lot of Quinn Cook, Nick Young and likely Shaun Livingston to help on the wing. The Warriors will probably run out more center lineups, too.
Clint Capela ready to roll 03-09-2018
Clint Capela C HOU
Clint Capela (calf) will play against the Raptors on Friday.

Jonathan Feigen on Twitter
He only has soreness to his right calf, which isn't the same issue as his left calf bruise from earlier this year. Fire up Capela in all leagues and consider him against Jonas Valanciunas.
Willie Cauley-Stein (back) ruled out vs. ORL 03-09-2018
Willie Cauley-Stein C SAC
Willie Cauley-Stein (back) has been ruled out against the Magic on Friday.

James Ham on Twitter
The Kings have an important lottery game tonight, so getting ruled out isn't big new for WCS. With him out, the Kings would be less likely to rest Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos, but both are not on the table for DFS cash. We'll see a lot of Skal Labissiere and perhaps JaKarr Sampson gets pulled out of the garage.
De'Aaron Fox (back) will not play on Friday 03-09-2018
De'Aaron Fox G SAC
De'Aaron Fox (back) will not play against the Magic on Friday.

James Ham on Twitter
He was listed as questionable yesterday, but there's not much value in that report. This report is somewhat bad news for Fox to get ruled out well before warmups, especially with the Kings track record. He could miss multiple games. With him out, it's Frank Mason III season. In his last NBA start, he played 34 minutes with seven points, for boards, five dimes and two steals. Even if he doesn't start and it's Garrett Temple, Mason is the guy you want.
Michael Carter-Williams to have surgery 03-09-2018
Michael Carter-Williams G CHA
Michael Carter-Williams (shoulder surgery) has suffered a posterior labral tear in his left shoulder and will miss the remainder of the season.

NBA.com
According to the Hornets, the injury was confirmed after Carter-Williams underwent an MRI and was examined by Hornets team orthopedist Dr. Marc Cook of Novant Health. The injury occurred with 4:05 left in the second quarter of Charlotte's game at Toronto on March 4. Malik Monk has not played well at all, but he'll be getting an opportunity for the rest of the season.
Pau Gasol (shoulder) questionable vs. OKC 03-09-2018
Pau Gasol C SA
Pau Gasol (shoulder) is questionable against the Thunder on Saturday.

Paul Garcia on Twitter
This is good news for the Spurs after Gasol missed Thursday and Tony Parker mentioned Gasol's shoulder wasn't in the best shape. If he's back, that will probably take Joffrey Lauvergne out of the rotation, but it shouldn't affect Kyle Anderson, Davis Bertans and Rudy Gay too much.
Josh Jackson (knee) questionable vs. CHA 03-09-2018

Josh Jackson (knee) is questionable for Saturday against the Hornets.

Scott Bordow on Twitter
T.J. Warren (back) doubtful Saturday night 03-09-2018

T.J. Warren (back) is doubtful for Saturday against the Hornets.

Scott Bordow on Twitter
Tyson Chandler (shoulder) is questionable 03-09-2018
Tyson Chandler C PHO
Tyson Chandler (shoulder) is questionable to play against the Hornets on Saturday.

Scott Bordow on Twitter
Well, we mentioned how Chandler was in discomfort after a fall under the basket last night, so that probably explains this. Chandler's injury may not be too bad, but the Suns aren't going to play him at less than 100 percent. Alex Len's fantasy value could be revived here, but it was very noteworthy that Alec Peters played with the rotation 1-4 guys last night. Feel free to add Len again, but be prepared for disappointment.
Devin Booker (triceps) questionable Saturday 03-09-2018
Devin Booker G PHO
Devin Booker (triceps strain) is questionable to play against the Hornets on Saturday.

Scott Bordow on Twitter
That's not good after Booker scored 30 points on Thursday against the Thunder. While he's said he wants to play and doesn't want to rest, the Suns are likely going to ask him to do a lot to get him cleared as they fight for the top spot in the lotto. If he's out along with Josh Jackson and T.J. Warren, the Suns are going to be ridiculously thin. It'll be Troy Daniels, Davon Reed and plenty of Shaq Harrison at the SG spot to fill the wing minutes.
Paul Zipser (foot) ruled out Friday 03-09-2018
Paul Zipser F CHI
Paul Zipser (foot) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Pistons.

NBA.com
Zipser hasn't played since February 22nd. With Justin Holiday back in the mix, Zipser no longer has a spot in the rotation.
Dwight Buycks (ankle) ruled out Friday 03-09-2018
Dwight Buycks G DET
Dwight Buycks (left ankle sprain) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Bulls.

NBA.com
This is a new injury for Buycks, who logged 15 minutes in the loss to the Raptors on Wednesday. Jameer Nelson and Langston Galloway will likely re-enter the rotation with Buycks sidelined.
Dorian Finney-Smith (knee) questionable Sat 03-09-2018
Dorian Finney-Smith F DAL
Dorian Finney-Smith (knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs. Memphis.

NBA.com
Finney-Smith has been sidelined since November 12th, but is reportedly close to making his return to game action. However, he'll see limited minutes after he's cleared to play. He should be left on waivers in all formats.
Terrance Ferguson in concussion protocol 03-09-2018
Terrance Ferguson G OKC
The Thunder announced on Friday that Terrance Ferguson has a concussion and is in the NBA's concussion protocol.

Brett Dawson on Twitter
Ferguson collided with Steven Adams in the second half of Tuesday's win over Phoenix and dropped to the floor. As is the case with all concussions, the Thunder don't have a timeline for his return. However, he's not a significant part of the Thunder's rotation even when fully healthy. Thus, he should be left on waivers.
Otto Porter (hip) a GTD Friday vs. Pelicans 03-09-2018
Otto Porter Jr. F WAS
Otto Porter (bruised right hip) participated in shootaround and is a game-time decision for Friday's matchup against New Orleans.

Candace Buckner on Twitter
Porter initially injured his hip in Tuesday's win over the Heat. He took a shot to the right hip in the fourth quarter, retreated to the locker room, and was unable to return. However, he avoided a serious injury, with the Wiz calling him day-to-day. The fact that he was able to partake in shootaround is a welcomed sign. We should have confirmation of his status for Friday's game at approximately 6:30 PM est, when coach Scott Brooks addresses the media pregame. Kelly Oubre and Markieff Morris will see extended minutes if Porter can't play.
Nerlens Noel (rest) will not play Saturday 03-09-2018
Nerlens Noel C DAL
Coach Rick Carlisle said that Nerlens Noel (return from injury management) will not play Saturday vs. Memphis, but will play Sunday against Houston.

Dwain Price on Twitter
Noel, who is working his way back after being sidelined by thumb surgery, played well in the Mavs win over Denver on Tuesday. He finished with eight points, a season-high 14 rebounds, one steal and a block in 26 minutes. If he continues to see 25-plus minutes a night, he could hold some value over the final month of the season.
Wesley Matthews (hip) expected to play Sat 03-09-2018
Wesley Matthews G DAL
Coach Rick Carlisle said that Wesley Matthews (left hip) is expected to play Saturday vs. the Grizzlies.

Dwain Price on Twitter
Matthews has missed each of Dallas' previous two games, but went through a full practice on Thursday and is on track to suit up Saturday. Yogi Ferrell, J.J. Barea, and Doug McDermott will see their minutes scaled back a bit with Matthews returning to the lineup.
Luke Kennard bumped back to the bench 03-09-2018
Luke Kennard G DET
James Ennis will replace Luke Kennard in the starting lineup Friday vs. Chicago.

Rod Beard on Twitter
Kennard started for Detroit on Wednesday and finished with nine points (3-of-8 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in a career-high 31 minutes. Despite coming off the bench on Friday, there should still be plenty of minutes available for Kennard, as Stanley Johnson (back) is unlikely to play.
Stanley Johnson (back) unlikely to play Fri 03-09-2018
Stanley Johnson F DET
Stanley Johnson (back) was unable to participate in shootaround and is unlikely to play Friday vs. Chicago.

Rod Beard on Twitter
Johnson, who was ruled out of Wednesday's game, is officially listed as doubtful for Friday night. James Ennis and Luke Kennard will likely soak up additional playing time with Johnson sidelined.
Justin Holiday will remain in starting lineup 03-09-2018
Justin Holiday G CHI
Justin Holiday will remain in the starting lineup Friday vs. the Pistons.

Bulls PR on Twitter
Holiday was re-inserted into the Bulls starting lineup on Wednesday and finished with 14 points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in 17 minutes. He'll likely log less than 20 minutes per game going forward, which caps his fantasy value.
Lopez and Holiday will start Friday vs. DET 03-09-2018
Robin Lopez C CHI
Coach Fred Hoiberg said that both Robin Lopez and Justin Holiday will start Friday vs. the Pistons.

Bulls PR on Twitter
Lopez started each of the Bulls first 57 games this season, but was a healthy scratch in each of Chicago's first seven games after the All-Star break. However, the NBA issued a warning to the Bulls on resting healthy players earlier this week, prompting Hoiberg to re-insert RoLo into the lineup. Lopez averaged 27.7 minutes per contest in the first half, but will likely see far fewer minutes over the final month of the season, which limits his fantasy value. Bobby Portis and Cristiano Felicio will also see their minutes reduced.
Darren Collison (knee) expects to play Friday 03-09-2018
Darren Collison G IND
Darren Collison (knee) said he expects to return for Friday's game vs. Atlanta, but will likely come off the bench if he is cleared to play.

NBA.com
After missing 11 straight games, Collison has been optimistic about his chances of suiting up on Friday night. And, despite likely coming off the bench in his first game back, Collison could start again as early as Sunday's game vs. the Celtics. Make sure he is not floating around your league's waiver wire.
Matthew Dellavedova (ankle) ruled out Friday 03-09-2018
Matthew Dellavedova G MIL
Matthew Dellavedova (ankle) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Knicks.

NBA.com
Dellavedova has yet to return to the Bucks lineup since injuring his ankle back on February 4th. He should be left on waivers in all formats.
Tyler Zeller (back) questionable Friday 03-09-2018
Tyler Zeller C MIL
Tyler Zeller (back soreness) is listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Knicks.

NBA.com
Zeller fell hard on his back and right hip Sunday vs. the Sixers. He has missed each of the Bucks two games this week. The Bucks went small against the Rockets on Wednesday, as John Henson logged just 20 minutes and Thon Maker was a DNP-CD despite Zeller being sidelined.
James Ennis back in starting lineup Friday 03-09-2018
James Ennis III F DET
Coach Stan Van Gundy said that James Ennis would return to the starting lineup Friday night vs. Chicago.

James Edwards on Twitter
Luke Kennard started in place of Ennis on Wednesday but will be bumped back to the bench. Ennis started four consecutive games for the Pistons earlier this month and averaged 8.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 26.4 minutes over those four starts. He should be left on waivers.
Stanley Johnson (back) doubtful for Friday 03-09-2018
Stanley Johnson F DET
Stanley Johnson (back) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Bulls.

James Edwards on Twitter
Johnson was unable to practice earlier in the week due to back spasms and did not play Wednesday vs. the Raptors. Luke Kennard and James Ennis will divvy up extra minutes if Johnson is ruled out.
OG Anunoby (ankle) ruled out Friday vs. HOU 03-09-2018
OG Anunoby F TOR
OG Anunoby (ankle) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. Houston.

Josh Lewenberg on Twitter
Delon Wright (toe) ruled out Friday vs. HOU 03-09-2018
Delon Wright G TOR
Delon Wright (toe) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Rockets.

Josh Lewenberg on Twitter
Wright initially injured his toe in Tuesday's win over Atlanta, and then re-aggravated the injury Wednesday vs. the Pistons. He played only seven minutes Wednesday night and was unable to return to the game. Fred VanVleet, who hit the game-winner vs. Detroit, will see an uptick in minutes. Norman Powell could also see some additional playing time.
Darren Collison expects to return Friday 03-09-2018
Darren Collison G IND
Darren Collison (knee) said he feels "really good" about returning for Friday's game vs. the Hawks.

Indianapolis Star
Collison has missed 11 straight games due to knee surgery, but appears to be on track to return to the lineup Friday night. On Thursday, Collison told reporters that "throughout this whole week when I was getting up and down, I didn't feel any pain." We should have an update from the team by Friday afternoon. Cory Joseph and Lance Stephenson will see fewer minutes at point guard once Collison returns.
Lakers to sign Derrick Williams to a 10-day 03-09-2018
Derrick Williams F LAL
The Lakers plan to sign Derrick Williams to a 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

Shams Charania on Twitter
Williams split time between the Heat and Cavs in 2016-17. However, he was unable to find a team willing to sign him last summer and played in China. He will only see spot minutes in L.A. and should be left on waivers in all fantasy formats.
Update: Stephen Curry out Friday and Sunday 03-09-2018
Stephen Curry G GS
Updating a previous item, Stephen Curry (ankle) will not play Friday against the Blazers and Sunday against the Wolves.

Anthony Slater on Twitter
He's not even going to travel to allow him to recover from his right ankle sprain in the Bay Area. We've seen Curry have recurring ankle issues before and he's needed surgery, so making sure he's 100 percent is easily the Warriors' top priority right now after his fourth right ankle issue since December. He could miss more games, which would be a massive blow to fantasy owners when it counts the most. Expect it to be a team effort to step up with Quinn Cook possibly starting.
Kevin Durant scores 37 points in comeback win 03-09-2018
Kevin Durant F GS
Kevin Durant scored 37 points with 11 rebounds, four assists, four blocks and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes during a 110-107 win over the Spurs on Thursday. It was the KD show with 14 straight points late in the fourth to get the Warriors even after a rough start in the second half. Stephen Curry (ankle) only playing two minutes was a factor here, and of course KD has been awesome without Steph. In his previous minutes without Curry, Durant has per-36 averages of 28.7 points, 7.8 boards, 5.7 dimes, 2.5 blocks, 0.9 steals and 2.6 treys. His fantasy value could be seeing a slight uptick in the short term.
Draymond Green records 3rd trip-dub on year 03-09-2018
Draymond Green F GS
Draymond Green posted his third triple-double of the season with 11 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks, two steals and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes. He earned the 22nd career triple-double on a putback to help the Warriors get a 107-105 lead. Besides his assists, all of Green's counting stats were down after the break compared to before in points, treys, boards, blocks, steals and having more turnovers. He'll be asked to do more while Stephen Curry (ankle) is out, but it's possible Green gets a night off at some point in the next month.
Klay Thompson dealing with hip soreness 03-09-2018
Klay Thompson G GS
Klay Thompson has been dealing with some hip soreness, but he said he'll be fine.

Chris Haynes on Twitter
"It's nothing serious," he told ESPN. Thompson scored 13 points with two boards, six dimes and one 3-pointer against the Spurs on Thursday. He gets a massive usage rate boost when he's not with Curry, sitting at 26.8 without him and just 19.8 with him. Thompson's rebounding rate, assist rate and defensive rating also improve in that time, but his efficiency has dropped. He could see additional shots if the Dubs do take it easy on Curry, but keep an eye out for rest on Friday.
JaVale McGee gives the Dubs good minutes 03-09-2018
JaVale McGee C GS
JaVale McGee scored 13 points with seven rebounds and four blocks in 17 minutes against the Spurs on Thursday. Coach Steve Kerr summed up Pierre pretty well during his in-game interview, saying he's really tall and he jumps really high. The Warriors are thin up front and they could be thin again on Friday, so McGee could get close to 20 minutes again vs. Portland. He's still only a punt play in DFS or a stream.
LaMarcus Aldridge scores 30 points vs. GSW 03-09-2018
LaMarcus Aldridge F SA
LaMarcus Aldridge pulled down a season-high 17 boards during a 110-107 loss to the Warriors on Thursday, adding 30 points, four assists and two turnovers in 37 minutes. This wasn't the LMA that scored just 12.3 points per game in his final three games against the Dubs in the postseason last year, and the version that scored just seven on Monday. He'll likely be the lone Spurs big when he's on the court, so his boards could see a nice increase. Plus, this should relieve some concerns about any lingering ankle or knee issues.
Dejounte Murray scores 14 03-09-2018
Dejounte Murray G SA
Dejounte Murray scored 14 points with five rebounds, six assists and one steal in 30 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday. That's the bounce-back game his fantasy owners wanted to see after just 18 minutes in a rough game against the Grizzlies. Murray has been very productive in defensive stats and coach Gregg Popovich seems to trust him with solid minutes in his previous six games before the aforementioned dud. He should be owned in standard leagues.
Kyle Anderson picks up five steals again 03-09-2018
Kyle Anderson F SA
Kyle Anderson scored 12 points with 11 rebounds, four assists and five steals against the Warriors on Thursday. Make it back-to-back games with five steals for Slo Mo and he's been especially hot there with 15 total swipes in his last five. In that span, he's averaged 9.0 points, 6.2 boards, 3.8 assists and 0.8 blocks. He'll cool off because he won't add much on offense, but he should be owned in standard leagues.
Stephen Curry (ankle) will not play on Friday 03-09-2018
Stephen Curry G GS
Stephen Curry (ankle) will not play on Friday against the Blazers.

Anthony Slater on Twitter
No surprise here at all in a back-to-back set. Curry is going to travel to Portland, and he didn't have his ankle wrapped after the game as he celebrated with his teammates. This is his fourth right ankle injury since December, so the Warriors will want to be absolutely sure his stability is 100 percent before he is back out there. Quinn Cook is probably going to start and could see more minutes, especially if Shaun Livingston rests. We'll see more Nick Young and the rest of the rotation will obviously have to step up, too. Keep an eye out for more rest, though.
Rudy Gay gets just 16 minutes 03-09-2018
Rudy Gay F SA
Rudy Gay scored 10 points with five rebounds and one steal in 16 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday. The minutes were surprisingly low, but maybe the Spurs had a limit on him from an ear injury. Gay was heating up in his two previous games before Monday with 17.0 points per game in 25.0 minutes. He should be better than this, but it's not like the Spurs will totally unleash him while LaMarcus Aldridge is healthy.
Joffrey Lauvergne gets 11 minutes 03-09-2018
Joffrey Lauvergne C SA
Joffrey Lauvergne scored two points with two rebounds and one assist in 11 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday. He was LaMarcus Aldridge's backup in this game and that should continue while Pau Gasol (shoulder) is out. There's very little to like here while LMA is healthy.
Russell Westbrook lights up Suns 03-09-2018
Russell Westbrook G OKC
Russell Westbrook scored 27 points on 11-of-14 from the field during a 115-87 win over the Suns on Thursday, adding eight rebounds, nine assists and two turnovers in 29 minutes. The elixir known as the Suns will cure a lot of ailments, so the Thunder also snapped a two-game losing streak. Most of their issues have been on the defensive end lately, but Westy has been strong on O. Westbrook's usage rate is way up to 36.0 over his last five with a 58.8 TS%, so he's shaping up to be the top DFS play most nights.
Corey Brewer scores 17 points vs. Suns 03-09-2018
Corey Brewer F OKC
Corey Brewer scored 17 points in a start against the Suns on Thursday, adding four rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes. He didn't play at all in the fourth quarter, so his first start really couldn't have gone better. Brewer is still going to have a tough time getting to 10 attempts from the field, so he'll certainly trend down from this and his 10-point Tuesday night. He's more of a shot-in-the-dark add in deep leagues.
Josh Huestis scores three off bench 03-09-2018
Josh Huestis F OKC
Josh Huestis moved to the bench against the Suns on Thursday with three points, four rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes. He played the entire fourth quarter in garbage time, so even the 20 minutes are misleading. Huestis may fall out of the rotation some nights.
Steven Adams sons the Suns in win 03-09-2018
Steven Adams C OKC
Steven Adams scored 16 points with 12 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals in 30 minutes against the Suns on Thursday. He's just too strong and the Suns had no answer for him. Adams is locked in on efficiency with his 71.1 percent from the field over his last five, averaging 12.8 points, 9.2 boards, 1.4 dimes, 1.4 blocks and 1.6 steals. He's been an absolute difference maker in fantasy.
Devin Booker scores 30 points again 03-09-2018
Devin Booker G PHO
Devin Booker scored 30 points with six rebounds, one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday.

Scott Bordow on Twitter
He is not going to have much help with T.J. Warren(back) and Josh Jackson (knee) banged up, but hopefully he'll get help soon. Booker also busted out a headband tonight, but after the game he said it was more for function and not form to cover up a cut on his head. He doesn't want to rest, so his fantasy owners should feel pretty good about his value the rest of the way.
Tyson Chandlers scores 10 in 20 minutes 03-09-2018
Tyson Chandler C PHO
Tyson Chandler scored 10 points with five rebounds in 20 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday. He did have a fall under the basket and was in some pain, but it doesn't look bad. Maybe Chandler's neck spasms become a problem again, but he's not a fantasy asset in even super deep leagues.
Terry Rozier scores 13 in Boston's victory 03-09-2018
Terry Rozier G BOS
Terry Rozier tallied 13 points, four rebounds, one assist, two 3-pointers, two steals and one turnover across 24 minutes in Thursday's win over Minnesota. Earlier this week, there was talk that Kyrie Irving (knee) might miss multiple games. However, Irving returned to the lineup on Thursday and looked good. With both Kyrie and Marcus Smart healthy, Rozier's fantasy upside is limited.
Dragan Bender scores three in 32 minutes 03-09-2018
Dragan Bender F PHO
Dragan Bender scored three points with three rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday. The Suns look like they don't have the Bender SF lineups in their arsenal like they had earlier in his career. He did log more minutes next to Marquese Chriss today and that could continue while the Suns are banged up. Still, Bender is in another slump, so he can't be trusted in most fantasy leagues.
Shaq Harrison getting SG minutes now 03-09-2018
Shaquille Harrison G PHO
Shaq Harrison scored nine points with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 20 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday. He has some Tyrone Wallace to his game with some length on the defensive end, and the Suns also dusted off some two-PG lineups today. Considering how bad the Suns are, Harrison could have some sneaky deep value for output in garbage time. He's been good in steals, too.
Davon Reed starts the third quarter 03-09-2018
Davon Reed G PHO
Davon Reed started the third quarter with two points, three rebounds, one assist and one foul in 16 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday. The Suns are running out of wings, but it doesn't sound like Josh Jackson and T.J. Warren will be out for too long. Either way, we have to see Reed show he can produce before signing off on him as an add even in a 20-team league.
Marcus Morris scores 17 points in win 03-09-2018
Marcus Morris F BOS
Marcus Morris finished with 17 points, five rebounds, two assists, and three 3-pointers in a 117-109 victory over Minnesota. Morris hasn't been overly impressive in terms of all-around fantasy production, but he has been scoring consistently for the C's. Morris has now tallied at least 12 points in 18 of his last 21 appearances. He's also averaging nearly two treys per game over this current 21-game stretch.
Marquese Chriss bad again 03-09-2018
Marquese Chriss F PHO
Marquese Chriss scored five points with four rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday. And so much for that nice two-game stretch. There could be an opportunity for Chriss because of Josh Jackson and T.J. Warren getting hurt, and how Jackson has been playing center. Still, Chriss is not worth the headache in almost any league. Isaac Newton couldn't even understand how this guy loses momentum so fast.
Alex Len continues his struggles in 11 mins 03-09-2018
Alex Len C PHO
Alex Len struggled yet again with two points, three rebounds, one block and one steal in 11 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday. It was all good just a week ago. Len had a six-block Friday against this OKC team, but he's been unfathomably bad since. In those three games combined he had just 11 points, eight boards, one block and one steal in only 25 minutes. Maybe Tyson Chandler is dinged up again, but it's almost impossible to hold him in fantasy through these struggles. Len's fantasy value has been falling off cliffs so much that it probably should come with a parachute.
Kyrie Irving (knee) looks terrific in return 03-09-2018
Kyrie Irving G BOS
Kyrie Irving (knee) returned to the lineup on Thursday and led the Celtics to a win over the Wolves, finishing with 23 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, three treys and two steals. Irving did not play Monday, and coach Brad Stevens told reporters Kyrie was in danger of missing a full week. However, Irving said he would return for Thursday's contest, and he looked sharp in the victory over Minnesota. Irving was 9-of-15 from the floor, including 3-of-7 from 3-point range, and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe. GM Danny Ainge said he thinks Irving will need to manage his knee pain going forward and hinted as possible rest days, but Kyrie should be ready to roll on Sunday when the C's host the Pacers.
