Entry fee levels, scoring types and prizes: All entry fee levels, scoring, and prizes are as they appear on the Draft & Play Basketball home page.

Starting Lineup: Draft a team of 10 starters and 7 reserves. Players remain on your team until you modify your team. (See below for modifications.) Starting lineup must consist of: 3 Guards, 3 Forwards, 2 Centers and 2 Swing (can be Guards, Forwards or Centers). Reserves must consist of 7 players. Only listed players can be selected.

Drafts: You must draft at the time that you have selected. Once your league has 10 registered teams, the league and draft time are locked. You'll receive an email when your league locks. Your draft will be conducted using a random-generated draft order and will proceed in a serpentine order format such that Team 1 picks first, Team 2 picks second, Team 10 picks 10th, Team 10 picks 11th, Team 9 picks 12th and so forth through 17 rounds. You have 75 seconds to draft. You'll receive an email confirming your league's rosters.

Three Ways To Draft: (1.) live player selection (must be logged on to the website during the time of the draft), (2.) draft list selection (you set your draft list prior to or during the draft), and (3.) automated selection (CDM Sports selects the next available player for you from an automated list of default player rankings.)

Modifications To Your Team: Modify your team by clicking the appropriate navigational link on the Contest website. There are three types of modifications:

No Drop List: Every Tuesday CDM Sports publishes a "No Drop" list for the week's upcoming games. Players on the "No Drop" list can't be dropped from your team roster as part of a waiver wire request or free agent acquisition.

Head-to-Head Scoring: Your team either wins, loses, or ties in its weekly matchup based on the points accumulated by the players on your team versus the points accumulated by the players on your opponent's team. Your team's record determines its place in the league standings. The 10-team league consists of two, 5-team divisions. During the 18 weeks of regular season play, teams in each league play each other twice.

2-Point Field Goal Made 2 Points
Free Throw Made 1 Point
3-Point Field Goal Made 3 Points
Assist 1 Point
Rebound 1 Point

Playoff Format: Top 4 teams in each division make the playoffs. Playoff matches are Weeks 19 through 22 and the Championship matchup is weeks 23 and 24. [For tie-breakers, see the Official Rules of the Contest.]

Prizes: Prizes are awarded following the Contest in accordance with the Contest Official Rules.
