Join a Public League

You may choose to join a public league, and you will be grouped with other team owners who select the same draft time, league format and entry fee. You may choose to join an existing public league with an already scheduled draft time. If you cannot find an existing public league with a desirable draft time, you may create a new public league and select your desired draft time.

If a public league does not does not fill 1 hour prior to its draft time, the league will be dissolved. Team owners in the dissolved league will be notified, and asked to register for a different league and draft time. For additional information regarding this, please refer to the CHANGE LEAGUE section of the rules.

Change League

The CHANGE LEAGUE option (accessed by clicking on DRAFT TOOLS in the navigational bar of links) allows you to withdraw from your current league and re-register for a different league and draft time. You may not, however, re-register for a league with a different entry fee, league format and prize level than your original league. You may change your league provided that your current league has not filled and is not yet locked. In the event that your league is dissolved because it has not filled prior to the draft time, you will be asked to use this option to select a new league and draft time for your team.

Division Formation

10-TEAM LEAGUES: Once 10 teams have registered for your league, it is locked and two 5-team divisions are created within the league. During Weeks 1 through 13 of the pro football season, your team will play against each team in your division twice and play against each team in the other division once. To view the weekly matchup schedule, click here.

12-TEAM LEAGUES: Once 12 teams have registered for your league, it is locked and two 6-team divisions are created within the league. During Weeks 1 through 12 of the pro football season, your team will play against each team in your league once and play against one random team in your division twice. To view the weekly matchup schedule, click here.

DRAFT YOUR TEAM

Online Draft

Once your league is filled, the league and draft time are locked, and you will receive an email confirming your league's draft date and time, as well as the draft order for the teams in your league.

Time Limit To Draft

The time allotted for you to make your picks during your league's draft depends upon whether you select to participate in a standard draft league or a slow draft league. If you do not select a slow draft league, you are automatically entered in a standard draft league.

Standard Draft: There is a 75 second limit between each pick. If a pick is not made in the allotted time, your selection will be made from (1st) the top player in your queue, (2nd) the top player from your pre-selected list or (3rd) the top player from the automated list of default player rankings.

Slow Draft: There are 2 options to choose from when signing up for a slow draft, there is an 8 hour or 4 hour option to select from. If a pick is not made in the allotted time, your selection will be made from (1st) the top player in your queue, (2nd) the top player from your pre-selected list or (3rd) the top player from the automated list of default player rankings.

Please note: for the 4 hour draft clock ONLY, the draft clock will be frozen between the hours of Midnight CT and 8 AM CT. Picks can still be made during the time the clock is frozen.

Please note: The deadline to register for a slow draft is Monday, August 7, 2017. All slow drafts must be completed by Thursday, September 7th at 7:00 PM CT. In the event that CDM Sports determines that a slow draft is not likely to be completed by 7:00 PM CT on Thursday, September 7th, CDM Sports reserves the right to shorten the 8 hour time limit for selections so that the slow draft can be completed by that time. In the event that it becomes necessary to shorten the slow draft selection time, team owners will be notified via email.

Online Draft 10-Team League

Once your league has 10 registered teams, the league and draft time are locked, and you will receive an email confirming your league's draft date and time as well as the draft order for the teams in your league. Your draft will be conducted using this pre-determined, random-generated draft order in a snake-order format such that Team 1 picks first, Team 2 picks second, ... Team 10 picks 10th, Team 10 picks 11th, Team 9 picks 12th, Team 8 picks 13th, ... Team 1 picks 20th, Team 1 picks 21st, and so forth through 16 rounds. In each round you will have the allocated time to draft your player. The draft order is set by CDM Sports and cannot be changed.

Online Draft 12-Team League

Once your league has 12 registered teams, the league and draft time are locked, and you will receive an email confirming your league's draft date and time as well as the draft order for the teams in your league. Your draft will be conducted using this pre-determined, random-generated draft order in a snake-order format such that Team 1 picks first, Team 2 picks second, ... Team 12 picks 12th, Team 12 picks 13th, Team 11 picks 14th, Team 10 picks 15th, ... Team 1 picks 24th, Team 1 picks 25th, and so forth through 16 rounds. In each round you will have the allocated time to draft your player. The draft order is set by CDM Sports and cannot be changed.

You may draft your players using three available methods:

Live Player Selection

You may select your player from the pool of available players during your allotted time. To make live player selections, you must be logged on to the website during the time of your draft. Once you have made your live player selection, the draft proceeds to the next team in the draft order regardless of any time remaining in your allotment. If you do not complete your selection within the alloted time, CDM Sports will select your player from your draft list, if available, or from the automated list, and will continue to auto-draft your players each time it is your team's turn to draft. You must turn off the automated drafting in order to resume making live player selections.

Draft List Selection

Prior to and during your league's draft, you may create a draft list of players that are ranked in the order that you would like them selected for your team. If you are not logged on to the website during the time of your draft and you have created a draft list, CDM Sports will select the next available player from your draft list that will fill an open position in your starting lineup. Once your starting lineup has been filled, CDM Sports will select your reserve players. If your draft list is exhausted or if your draft list does not have a player at the appropriate player position, CDM Sports will select your player from the automated list. When drafting from your draft list, CDM Sports will select your next player as soon as it is your team's turn to draft and will not allow the allocated time to expire. If you log on during your draft, you must turn off the automated drafting in order to use your allocated time and make live draft selections.

Automated Selection

If you are not logged on to the website during the time of your draft and you have not created a draft list, CDM Sports will select the next available player from the automated list of default player rankings. The default player rankings have been determined using CDM Sports Projected Results. When drafting from the automated list, CDM Sports will select your next player as soon as it is your team's turn to draft and will not allow the time to expire. If you log on during your draft, you must turn off the automated drafting in order to use your allocated time and make live draft selections.

Once the draft has been completed, you will receive an email confirming your league's rosters.

Once you draft your team, the only changes that you can make until 4:00 PM CT on Wednesday, September 6th, are roster switches and requests for waiver wire acquisitions. After 6:00 PM CT on Wednesday, September 6th, you can make roster switches and free agent acquisitions. For additional information regarding this, please refer to the MODIFY TEAM section of the rules.

Starting Lineup

Your starting lineup must consist of the following 9 players:

Reserves

Your reserves must consist of any 7 players and/or defense/special teams. The position distribution rules do not apply to your reserves but do apply when these players and/or defense/special teams are switched into the starting lineup.

Player Positions, Listed Players, and Unlisted Players

The player positions are assigned by CDM Sports and do not change.

You can select any available listed player during your league's draft. Listed players may be selected as starters and as reserves. A listed player's position has been determined by CDM Sports and will remain the same for the entire Contest.

You cannot select an unlisted player during your league's draft.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 12:00 Noon CT, during the pre-season and regular season, previously unlisted players will be added to the list of available players. Once a player has been officially listed, he then may be selected during league drafts, and he may be requested by teams via the waiver wire acquisition process.

To request that an unlisted player be added to the list, please email us at [email protected]. All requests will be reviewed, and players will be added to the list at the discretion of CDM Sports. There are no guarantees that all requests will be met.

Refund Policy

To withdraw your team and receive a full refund of your entry fee, you must submit your request before your league has filled. All requests must be received in writing. Please allow 30 days to receive your refund check. Once your league is full and all teams have registered for your league, the league is locked and no refunds will be issued.
