The Vikings are also hoping to lock up LB Anthony Barr and DE Danielle Hunter, who are both entering contract years. Finances are tight in Minnesota following the team's offseason spending spree but it's clear the Vikings will do everything they can to keep Diggs, who tied for the team lead with eight touchdowns last season, in the fold. Diggs will earn an extremely reasonable $705,000 salary in 2018, which happens to be the final year of his rookie contract.
Wendell Smallwood on Eagles' roster bubble 05-20-2018
Wendell Smallwood RB PHI
Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advance Media named Wendell Smallwood as one of several Eagles on the roster bubble.

NJ.com
Smallwood filled a change-of-pace role for the Eagles early last year but watched his playing time evaporate after the team acquired Jay Ajayi at the trade deadline. In a crowded backfield featuring Ajayi, Corey Clement and Darren Sproles, Shorr-Parks believes Smallwood faces a "steep uphill battle" to make the team out of training camp. Taylor Hart, Matt Jones, Donnel Pumphrey, Richard Rodgers, Nate Sudfield, Bryce Treggs, Chance Warmack and Markus Wheaton were also listed on Shorr-Parks' roster bubble.
Williams releases statement following arrest 05-20-2018
Terrance Williams WR DAL
Terrance Williams released a statement following his arrest Saturday in Frisco, Texas.

Ian Rapoport on Twitter
Williams was charged with public intoxication and leaving the scene of an accident, both misdemeanors. The Cowboys receiver said he hopped the curb to avoid a collision after the car in front of him slammed on his brakes. After exchanging insurance information with the other driver, Williams said he was dropped off at home by a neighbor and immediately called a tow truck to collect his vehicle. Williams was on his way to meet the tow-truck driver when police stopped him on his scooter. According to Williams, no sobriety tests were administered. Williams' agent, Chip Lewis, released his own statement, disputing a claim that Williams struck a light pole with his Lamborghini. "We are confident that once all the facts are brought to light in court Terrance will be vindicated," said Lewis. Coming off another underwhelming season in 2017, this arrest could put Williams' roster spot in jeopardy.
Adrian Clayborn tweaked quad at workouts 05-20-2018
Adrian Clayborn DE NE
Patriots DE Adrian Clayborn injured his quad during workouts last week.

The injury could limit Clayborn's availability for "Phase 3" of OTAs, though the veteran defensive end should be back at full strength by the time training camp opens in July. Clayborn led the Falcons with a career-high 9.5 sacks last season with six of those takedowns coming in a Week 10 win over Dallas.
