To modify your team via the Internet, click the appropriate navigational link on the Contest website, login using your email address and password (if you haven't already done so), modify your starting lineup within the constraints of the $28,000,000 salary cap, modify your taxi squad, submit the modifications and record the confirmation number you receive for them. There are three types of modifications: (1) taxi squad switch, (2) bye week switch, and (3) new player purchase.

Before the Contest begins (until 11:55 AM CT, Sunday, November 5, 2017), all modifications to your team (taxi squad switch and new player purchase) are free and unlimited.

Modifications are also accepted via our toll-free number (1.888.636.7559).

Deadlines and Stat Week

During the Contest, modifications must be made before 11:55 AM CT each Sunday in order to be effective for the upcoming week's Sunday and Monday games. For Thursday and Saturday games, changes must be made 5 minutes before kickoff of each applicable game on those days.

At the early deadlines for Thursday games, the players on the teams participating in the early games will be frozen once the deadline has passed. However, you are allowed to drop a frozen player from your taxi squad in order to purchase a new player after the early deadline. You will still be able to change players on teams not participating in the early games until 11:55 AM CT Sunday.

At the deadline, your team is locked for the upcoming week. Any modifications made after the deadline for late player changes do not take effect until the following week. Your team carries over from week to week if you do not make any modifications. The first deadline for modifying your team during the Contest is 7:20 PM CT, Thursday, November 9, 2017 for Seattle (SEA) and Arizona (ARZ) players and 11:55 AM CT on Sunday, November 12th for all other players.

Special Holiday Deadlines

Our office will be closed Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving Day holidays, Monday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday, and Sunday, December 31st for New Years Eve.

Although our offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd (Thanksgiving), player changes will be accepted via the Internet for the games played on those dates. All roster changes involving players on teams in the early games on Thanksgiving Day (MIN, DET, SD, DAL, NYG and WAS) must be made 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of each applicable game. Players on teams participating in early games on Thanksgiving Day will lock 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of their game. Please note that if you need assistance making your roster changes for the Thanksgiving Day early games, you must call during our office hours from 9:30 AM CT to 5:00 PM CT on Wednesday, November 22nd.

Taxi Squad Switch

A taxi squad switch occurs when you replace a player from your starting lineup with a player from your taxi squad. Taxi squad switches are unlimited during the Contest and must involve players listed at the same position. Taxi squad switch example: "Start Drew Brees, Taxi Tom Brady."

Bye Week Switch

A bye week switch occurs when you replace a player from your starting lineup whose team has a bye with a player from your taxi squad whose team doesn't have a bye. A bye week switch also occurs when you replace a player from your starting lineup whose team does not have a bye with a player from your taxi squad whose team had a bye the previous week. Bye week switches are unlimited during the Contest and must involve players listed at the same position. Bye week switch example: "Start Marshawn Lynch, Taxi Eddy Lacy."

New Player Purchase

A new player purchase occurs when you add a new player to either your starting lineup or taxi squad and drop a player from your roster. You may purchase any listed or unlisted player not on your current roster. New player purchases are limited to eight (8) per roster during the Contest and must involve players listed at the same position (when you are dropping a player from your starting lineup). New player purchase example: "Purchase Julio Jones, Drop Julian Edelman."

Using the Football Challenge® - Mid Season - Roto Rotisserie ranking method, statistics are accumulated each week for games played Thursday through Monday by all 20 players in your starting lineup. Your team is then ranked within league and overall competition based on the following 8 statistical categories:

Total Scoring
Kicker Scoring
Total Rushing Yards
Rushing Yards Average
Total Receiving Yards
Receiving Yards Average
Total Passing Yards
Passing Yards Average

The formula to calculate total scoring is: (Rushing TDs x 6) + (Passing TDs x 3) + (Receiving TDs x 6) + (Field Goals x 3) + Extra Points + (Other TDs x 6). Two-point conversion points are awarded to the player scoring the conversion. Kicker scoring is calculated as all points scored by any player by kicking the football through the uprights. The average categories are calculated using your team's total passing attempts, carries and receptions, and are calculated to three decimal places. (Examples: .1235 would be rounded to .124 and .1234 would be rounded to .123. Only the fourth decimal is used for rounding. Example: .12347 would be rounded to .123.)

Scoring System

To determine standings, teams are ranked from first to last in each of the eight statistical categories and points are assigned based on these rankings. For instance, in a 25-team league, the team that finishes first in a category earns 25 points, the second-place team earns 24 points, and so on down to the last-place team which earns one point. This system applies to all eight categories, each of which has equal value. The most points that a team in a 25-team league could earn if it finishes first in every statistical category is 200 points. In the overall team ranking, the maximum number of possible points is determined by the total number of entries in the Contest.

A player's stats are added to your team's statistics totals only during the weeks that he is in your starting lineup. All statistics accumulated by the players in your starting lineup, regardless of what position they actually play, contribute to your team's statistics total. Special Teams yardage does not count. Taxi squad players' statistics, statistics by a player before he was on your roster, preseason and playoff statistics and regular season statistics for games played before November 2, 2017, do not contribute to your team's statistics total.

Stats are accumulated weekly for the 20 starting players. The stat week begins with games played on Thursday and ends with games played on Monday, except for week 17 which ends on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

In the event that any game is postponed or canceled for any reason and the game is not played on or before the following Wednesday, players on the teams in the postponed/canceled game will receive no stats for that week.
