Not only has the Rangers netminder lost six straight decisions, he's also been pulled in three of his last five starts. King Henrik owns a 21-17-4 record with a 2.77 goals-against-average and a .917 save percentage this season. Ondrej Pavelec entered the game in relief of Lundqvist, and he allowed two goals on 18 shots in the defeat.
Anton Khudobin makes 21 saves in blowout win 02-07-2018
Anton Khudobin G BOS
Anton Khudobin allowed one goal on 22 shots in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the New York Rangers. Khudobin allowed a goal to Rangers forward Rick Nash just five minutes into the game, but he managed to keep his opponent off the scoreboard the rest of the way. The win improves the Bruins backup netminder's record to 11-3-4 on the season. He'll enter his next appearance with a 2.28 goals-against-average and a .925 save percentage. Khudobin has put together a solid year, but his fantasy upside is non-existent because starter Tuukka Rask is playing too well right now.

Pekka Rinne G NAS
Pekka Rinne allowed two goals on 32 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Predators were down 2-0 late in the second period, but they managed to level the score thanks to goals by Colton Sissons and Viktor Arvidsson in the second and third frames. Unfortunately for Nashville, Rinne gave up two goals on seven shootout attempts. The loss puts an end to his eight-game winning streak. He owns a 27-8-4 record with a 2.31 goals-against-average and a .926 save percentage this season. On a positive note, Rinne still hasn't lost a game in regulation since Jan. 2.

Andersen was outstanding in this one, as he managed to keep the Leafs in the game with a number of key saves. He then allowed only one goal on seven shootout attempts. It was a strong performance from a player that left the last game with an upper-body injury. Andersen now owns a 26-15-4 record with a 2.64 goals-against-average and a .922 save percentage this season. He's accumulated three victories in his last four outings. He'll continue to be a mid-level number one goalie in standard fantasy leagues.
Trade candidate Nash scores in loss to BOS 02-07-2018
Rick Nash LW BOS
Rick Nash found the back of the net in Wednesday's ugly 6-1 loss to the Boston Bruins. The Rangers were totally outclassed in this one, but they held a 1-0 lead in the first period thanks to Nash's goal five minutes into the game. Unfortunately for New York, it was all downhill from there. The 33-year-old has been mentioned in trade rumors lately. There's a good chance the pending unrestricted free agent will be moved before the Feb. 26 trade deadline. He has 16 goals and 26 points in 54 games this season. His days of being an elite fantasy option or over, but he'd be a nice acquisition for any team with Stanley Cup aspirations.
Patrice Bergeron scores twice in win over NYR 02-07-2018
Patrice Bergeron C BOS
Patrice Bergeron scored a pair of goals in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the New York Rangers. The veteran finished the game with a plus-2 rating and a game-high seven shots on goal in 18:10 of ice time. The Bruins forward has registered at least one point in 13 of his last 16 games. He's up to 24 goals and 46 points in 47 games in 2017-18. Not only is he one of the best defensive forwards in the game, he's also showing that he can chip in offensively with the best of them. Bergeron is a must-start in all fantasy formats right now.

Viktor Arvidsson LW NAS
Viktor Arvidsson scored in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Predators found themselves down 2-0 at the midway point of the second period, but they managed to tie the game thanks to goals by Colton Sissons and Arvidsson in the second and third frames. The league is clearly trying to send a message that such behaviour on the ice will not be tolerated. The Senators forward was last suspended in Oct. 2014, which means he's not considered a repeat offender by the NHL's standards. He'll forfeit over $134,000 in salary during his suspension. Kessel has been red hot lately with nine goals and 26 points in his last 18 games. That's pushed him up to 24 goals and 65 points in 55 contests this season. He's just one point shy of Nikita Kucherov for the NHL scoring lead.

NBC Sports Philadelphia

Eddie Lack makes his Devils debut 02-07-2018
Eddie Lack G NJ
Eddie Lack made his debut with the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday.

The Bergen Record
Lack didn't get the start, but he came in midway through the contest because Keith Kinkaid had been lit up. Lack turned aside 11 of 12 shots in the Devils' 5-3 loss to Ottawa. He's up from the AHL because Cory Schneider is dealing with a groin injury.
Taylor Hall plays in his 500th career game 02-07-2018
Taylor Hall LW NJ
Tuesday's contest was the 500th game of Taylor Hall's career.

The Bergen Record
Hall scored a goal Tuesday night, but his Devils suffered a 5-3 loss to Ottawa. Hall is still just 26-years-old, but he would have reached this milestone even quicker if not for some unfortunate luck when it comes to injuries. Hall didn't log more than 75 games in a single season until his sixth campaign in 2015-16 and then he dipped to 72 contests in 2016-17. So far in 2017-18, Hall's played in 47 of New Jersey's 52 games, so he has been fairly healthy this time around. He's also been very effective with 19 goals and 52 points.
Alec Martinez (LBI) practices on Tuesday 02-07-2018
Alec Martinez D LA
Alec Martinez (lower body) took part in Tuesday's practice.

Los Angeles Daily News
Martinez also skated on Monday, so it seems like he's getting close to returning. That being said, his status is still up in the air when it comes to Wednesday's contest. "I'm not sure yet," Kings coach John Stevens said in reference to Martinez's availability. "He skated again today, I'll wait to see how he responds."
T.J. Brodie reaches the 25-point milestone 02-07-2018
T.J. Brodie D CAL
T.J. Brodie has five assists in his last three games.

Calgary Sun
Brodie is up to three goals and 25 points in 53 contests in 2017-18. His pace is still a touch below what he needs to reach the 40-point milestone. He fell short of that mark in 2016-17 as well, but surpassed it in 2014-15 and 2015-16.
M. Ferland extends point streak to 3 games 02-07-2018
Micheal Ferland LW CAL
Micheal Ferland is on a three-game point streak.

Calgary Sun

Cam Fowler is one of the hottest defensemen 02-07-2018
Cam Fowler D ANA
Cam Fowler has eight assists in his last seven games.

Orange County Register
Dating back to Jan. 23 when that run started, Fowler is tied for first place among defensemen in points. He now has six goals and 24 points in 43 contests, which puts the possibility of him matching or surpassing his career-high of 40 points on the table. That being said, we still expect him to ultimately fall a bit short of that mark this season.
Rickard Rakell scores his 22nd goal of 17-18 02-07-2018
Rickard Rakell C ANA
Rickard Rakell stayed hot by scoring another goal on Tuesday.

Orange County Register
Rakell is on a five-game point streak and has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last eight contests. Of course, this has been a great campaign for him overall as he has 22 goals and 45 points in 50 games.
Corey Perry is on a three-game point streak 02-07-2018
Corey Perry RW ANA
Corey Perry found the back of the net in Anaheim's 4-3 overtime win against Buffalo on Tuesday.

Orange County Register
Perry extended his point streak to three games. That brings him up to 10 goals and 31 points in 44 games. In all likelihood, this will be the second straight campaign where he falls below the 30-goal milestone after surpassing it for five consecutive full campaigns (excluding the lockout shortened 2013 campaign). Perhaps this is the start of a strong second half though.
Joel Ward scores San Jose's only goal 02-07-2018
Joel Ward RW SJ
Joel Ward scored a goal with a minus-1 rating in Tuesday's 3-1 setback at Colorado. The Sharks aren't going to win many games when the checking line forward is providing all of the offense. He has points in back-to-back games for the third time this season, but just four goals and 11 points across 45 outings this season. His fantasy appeal remains limited to the deepest pools at this point.
Martin Jones receives no support in road loss 02-07-2018
Martin Jones G SJ
Martin Jones allowed two goals on 19 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 road loss against the Avalanche. Jones has allowed just four goals over his past three starts, but he has only one win to show for his efforts since the team has provided him with a total of five goals of support. That's been the problem in San Jose all season, as the Sharks are middle of the pack with 2.64 goals per game and a modest plus-10 goal differential.
Patrik Nemeth busy in home victory 02-07-2018
Patrik Nemeth D COL
Patrik Nemeth posted an assist with a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 3-1 home win against the Sharks. Nemeth also stepped in front of a pair of shots and delivered a hit. The point snapped a nine-game scoreless skid dating back to Jan. 13 when he had an assist against his former team, the Dallas Stars. His fantasy value is rather negligible unless your league rewards hits (34) and blocked shots (109).
Tyson Jost earns second star honors in win 02-07-2018
Tyson Jost C COL
Tyson Jost posted an even-strength goal with an assist and plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-1 victory against San Jose. Jost entered the game with just three goals and 10 points through his first 34 outings. This was just his second-career multi-point game, but both have come since Jan. 6. He is slowly gaining confidence, but until he is able to earn a top-six forward job and post points on a regular basis his fantasy appeal remains limited to the deepest of pools.
J.T. Compher notches two points in home win 02-07-2018
J.T. Compher LW COL
J.T. Compher picked up an empty-net goal and an assist with a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 3-1 win against the Sharks. Compher also added two blocked shots with a hit in his 18:07 of ice time. About the only thing that didn't go great for Compher was his work in the faceoff circle, as he was just 3-of-8. He has been hot lately, posting at least one goal in four of his past five outings, while posting four goals with six points over his past six games. He is worth scooping up in deeper pools while running hot and he isn't a bad low-cost DFS play.
Jonathan Bernier stays hot vs. San Jose 02-07-2018
Jonathan Bernier G COL
Jonathan Bernier allowed just one goal on 39 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 victory against the visiting San Jose Sharks. The Sharks were bringing the heat early and often, squeezing off 14 shots in the first period, 12 in the second and 13 in the third, but Bernier was more than equal to the task. Colorado has won nine straight at Pepsi Center for its longest home winning streak since the franchise relocated from Quebec City to Denver back in 1995.

Nate Prosser D MIN
Nate Prosser suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday's game against St. Louis.

Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune
Not only did the Wild win 6-2, they did it with just four defensemen at one point, as Prosser and Jonas Brodin both left the game. Prosser had to be helped off the ice after he was hit in the leg by a shot. The injury isn't believed to be too serious.
Jonas Brodin injured on Tuesday night 02-07-2018
Jonas Brodin D MIN
Jonas Brodin suffered an upper-body injury in Tuesday's game against St. Louis.

Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune
Brodin exited the game in the second period and never returned. Head coach Bruce Boudreau says he's still not sure how serious the injury is, so we'll only get a detailed update on his status in the coming days. We'll consider Brodin day-to-day for now. He has five goals and 15 points in 53 games this season. Brodin averages over 21 minutes of ice time per game in 2017-18.

Antti Raanta G ARZ
Antti Raanta allowed four goals on 23 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. The Coyotes never had the lead in this game, as Jets forward Jack Roslovich opened the scoring 30 seconds into the game. This was Raanta's first appearance since being involved in a car accident last Thursday. He has an 8-14-5 record with a 2.62 goals-against-average and a .916 save percentage this season.
Connor Hellebuyck stops 21 shots in win vs AZ 02-07-2018
Connor Hellebuyck G WPG
Connor Hellebuyck stopped 21 of 24 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Arizona Coyotes. The Jets opened the scoring 30 seconds into the game and they never looked back. Hellebuyck has now gone seven games without suffering a loss in regulation (5-0-2). He has a 28-6-8 record with a 2.32 goals-against-average and a .924 save percentage this season. Hellebuyck will continue being a strong number one goalie in most fantasy leagues.
Derek Stepan scores 1G, 1A in loss to WPG 02-07-2018
Derek Stepan C ARZ
Derek Stepan scored a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Stepan registered the primary assist on Christian Dvorak's power play goal late in the first period. The veteran also added a goal of his own early in the third frame to cut his team's deficit to 4-3, but that's as close as they'd come to tying the game. Stepan finished his night with two penalty minutes, four shots on goal and two hits in 16:39 of ice time. The 27-year-old is up to 10 goals and 32 points in 53 games this season.
Alex DeBrincat notched 19th goal of season 02-07-2018
Alex DeBrincat C CHI
Alex DeBrincat opened the scoring with a power-play goal early in the third period of Tuesday's 3-2 loss against the Flames. DeBrincat also chipped in with three blocked shots in his 17:25 of ice time. He has managed five goals with an assist over his past five games. The youngster trails just Patrick Kane (21) for goals this season, and he is third on the team in points with 34. The Blackhawks have a bevy of young players who have the chance to be good for many years, and DeBrincat leads that charge.
Jeff Glass broken in the third period 02-07-2018
Jeff Glass G CHI
Jeff Glass allowed two goals on 22 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 home loss against the Calgary Flames. Glass was doing a good job, as the game was tied 1-1 late into the third period. However, it was Michael Stone striking for an even-strength goal with 3:30 to go in regulation, while Sean Monahan added an empty-netter for insurance. It was needed, as Patrick Kane scored with :07 left to make it 3-2. Glass did a good job, but he was again left with very little in the way of offensive support.
Dustin Byfuglien nets 2 points in 800th game 02-07-2018
Dustin Byfuglien D WPG
Dustin Byfuglien scored a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Arizona Coyotes. Byfuglien had a productive night in his 800th career NHL game. He helped set up Jack Roslovich's goal 30 seconds into the first period before adding one of his own less than 7:30 later. The Jets blue liner finished the night with plus-2 rating, two shots on goal and five giveaways in 23:45 of ice time. The 32-year-old has three goals and 23 points in 42 games this season. He managed to put his nine-game goal drought to bed.
