The Bergen Record
Zacha found the back of the net during a Devils' power-play. Though it was his first goal in quite some time, he has been heating up lately with five points in his last four games. "It's nice to see him get rewarded," Devils coach John Hynes said. "He had all kinds of scoring chances leading up to finally scoring a goal. If you look at where he's sitting on the power play, it's at the top of the blue paint. He's getting to that area more. He's skating with the puck more. He does a great job of coming out of our own end. That's where he really supports the puck. He can make the next play to get you out of your zone. When he competes on the puck, he's a lot stronger on the wall, a lot stronger on 50-50 battles. He's willing to go to the hard areas more than he was earlier in the year."

Sean Monahan leads the NHL with 10 GWG 02-09-2018
Sean Monahan C CAL
Sean Monahan has an incredible 10 game-winning goals this season.

Calgary Sun
Monahan's the first Flames player to record at least 10 GWG since Jarome Iginla finished with 10 in 2003-04. Monahan's 10 GWG also easily puts him in first place this season with four other players (Brayden Point, Brayden Schenn, Nathan MacKinnon, and Evgeni Malkin) being tied for second place with seven. Sometimes being credited with the game-winner is somewhat luck based as it just happened that the goal you scored in the first or second period proved to be the difference, but it also can obviously suggest that the player has come through in the clutch. In that regard, it's worth adding that three of Monahan's 10 GWG were netted in overtime.
