Pavel Zacha (upper body) won't play on Thursday.

The Bergen Record
Zacha is dealing with an injury that he sustained during Tuesday's game. He has six goals and 19 points in 60 contests in 2017-18.
Marcus Johansson begins to skate 03-08-2018
Marcus Johansson LW NJ
Marcus Johansson (concussion) skated on his own Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Bergen Record
It's encouraging to see Johansson make steps forward, but his return is still a ways off. He won't be joining the Devils for their upcoming six-game road trip, which runs from March 10-26. He's missed 20 games so far due to the concussion and there's no guarantee that he'll be back before the end of the regular season.
Phaneuf (illness) misses practice Wednesday 03-08-2018
Dion Phaneuf D LA
Dion Phaneuf didn't take part in Wednesday's practice due to an illness.

LAKingsInsider
It remains to be seen if this will prevent Phaneuf from playing on Thursday. He has three goals and six points in 10 contests since joining the Kings.
Adam Larsson will return to lineup Thursday 03-08-2018
Adam Larsson D EDM
Adam Larsson (personal) will return to the Oilers' lineup on Thursday.

Edmonton Sun
Larsson missed Edmonton's previous three games. He temporarily left the Oilers to attend his father's funeral in Sweden.
Milan Lucic (illness) might not play Thursday 03-08-2018
Milan Lucic LW EDM
Milan Lucic missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness.

Edmonton Sun
Lucic might not be able to play on Thursday as a result. It's particularly unfortunate timing given that Lucic finally ended his 29-game goal drought on Monday.
Puljujarvi will stay on the 3rd line for now 03-08-2018
Jesse Puljujarvi RW EDM
Oilers coach Todd McLellan is happy with keeping Jesse Puljujarvi on the third line for now.

Edmonton Sun
While Puljujarvi has top-six potential, playing on the third line allows him to often avoid the opposition's top defensemen. "He's been able to load and shoot," said McLellan. "That doesn't mean he doesn't open up scoring chances, streaking down his natural right side but I think Jesse has a knack of releasing the puck from his off-side where he can fool a few goal-tenders. A lot of players are scoring from that area, on the off-side. Let's give it a chance and see where it goes." Puljujarvi only has 18 points in 49 games this season while averaging 13:37 minutes per contest, but Puljujarvi does have two goals and an assist in his last five contests.
Dougie Hamilton nets his 15th goal of 17-18 03-08-2018
Dougie Hamilton D CAL
Dougie Hamilton found the back of the net in the Flames' 5-1 win over Buffalo Wednesday night.

Calgary Sun
It was Hamilton's 15th goal and 39th point in 68 games this season. This is the first time he's gotten at least 15 markers in a single season and he's within striking distance of reaching the 40-point milestone for the fourth straight campaign.
Jankowski has 20 points in his rookie season 03-08-2018
Mark Jankowski C CAL
Mark Jankowski reached the 20-point milestone on Wednesday.

Calgary Sun
Jankowski scored a goal and an assist, which snapped a five-game point drought. While 20 points in 59 games won't get him in the Calder conversation, it's not a bad total for the rookie, especially given that he's averaged a modest 13-and-a-half minutes this season.
Sean Monahan can't complete Wednesday's game 03-08-2018
Sean Monahan C CAL
Sean Monahan left Wednesday's game midway through the third period and didn't return.

Calgary Sun
Monahan was being bothered by a nagging injury and that's why he made an early exit. Flames coach Glen Gulutzan said afterwards that he hoped pulling Monahan will prove to just be a precautionary move, but that remains to be seen. Consider him day-to-day for now.
Antti Raanta misses Wednesday's game 03-08-2018
Antti Raanta G ARZ
Antti Raanta (lower body) wasn't able to dress for Wednesday's contest.

Arizona Republic/Phoenix Gazette
Raanta's injury first game up on Monday when he experienced tightness after the pregame warmup. He last played on Saturday and is regarded as day-to-day.
03-08-2018
Andrew MacDonald D PHI
Andrew MacDonald returned to action on Wednesday March 7.
Jussi Jokinen lights the lamp in home setback 03-08-2018
Jussi Jokinen LW VAN
Jussi Jokinen notched his second goal of the season in Wednesday's 2-1 loss against the Coyotes. Juice was playing in just his second game since coming over from the Blue Jackets. He managed no goals and just one assist in 14 games with Columbus. His last goal actually came as a member of the Kings organization earlier this season, a game-winning tally on Nov. 30 in Washington. Needless to say, his fantasy appeal is rather minimal at the moment.
Jacob Markstrom stops 32 shots in loss 03-08-2018
Jacob Markstrom G VAN
Jacob Markstrom allowed just two goals on 34 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 loss against the Coyotes. Markstrom did a good job, but as has been the case for most of the season the offense failed to show up and help him out. One of the goals came on the power play, so he really was on top of his game in this one against a surprisingly hot team. The Canucks backstop has given up three or fewer goals in six of his past seven appearances, and he is a decent low-end No. 2 fantasy option despite the lack of offensive support this season.
Brendan Perlini helps out twice in road win 03-08-2018
Brendan Perlini LW ARZ
Brendan Perlini picked up a pair of assists with a plus-1 rating with two hits in Wednesday's 2-1 win at Vancouver. Perlini entered the game with no goals and just one assists across his past seven outings, so don't go bankrupting your FAAB budget just yet. However, he has been seeing some time on the power play lately and if he starts to produce a little more regularly he could have some use in deeper pools down the stretch.
Derek Stepan has points in three straight 03-08-2018
Derek Stepan C ARZ
Derek Stepan picked up the game-winning goal with an assist and a plus-1 rating in Wednesday's 2-1 victory in Vancouver. The late heroics gave Stepan his first game-winning tally of the season. He is starting to warm up, posting a goal with three assists during his three-game point streak. While he has a minus-12 rating overall this season, he has managed an even or positive rating in 14 of the past 15 contests dating back to Feb. 3.
Clayton Keller has two-point night in win 03-08-2018
Clayton Keller C ARZ
Clayton Keller posted a power-play goal with an assist on the game-winning tally in Wednesday's 2-1 win in Vancouver. Keller closed out the month of February with a four-game scoreless slide, but he has picked up the pace since flipping the calendar to March. The center has a goal with four points and a plus-4 rating in four games, including a power-play goal and assist on the man advantage. He has posted 48 points through 66 games, emerging as a useful fantasy option in deeper pools, especially those not penalizing plus/minus rating.
Darcy Kuemper rarely tested in victory 03-08-2018
Darcy Kuemper G ARZ
Darcy Kuemper allowed just one goal on 17 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 road win against the Canucks. Kuemper was acquired from the Kings near the trade deadline as an upgrade behind Antti Raanta, and it appears to be a very smart move. Antti Raanta is dealing with a lower-body injury, so Kuemper is holding down the fort rather nicely. If Raanta isn't ready by Saturday in Colorado it will be Kuemper making another start. He is a solid DFS option while running hot.
