Fantasy Cup Point System

Fantasy Cup Points are awarded to drivers based on the NASCAR race points drivers earn in each race during the Contest. The NASCAR Cup Series has used several race point systems since its inception in 1949. The current system was announced on January 23, 2017, to be used for the NASCAR Cup Series. Each race will be broken down into 3 stages and race points will be awarded to drivers at the conclusion of stage 1, conclusion of stage 2, conclusion of stage 3 (if applicable) and at the conclusion of the race as displayed in the scoring tables below.

Race points are awarded at the conclusion of Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 (if applicable) on a 10 point scale where 1st place is awarded 10 race points. There are no bonus points awarded for winning a stage.
